UPDATE 0936 MST: Today being Tuesday, we pray the Sorrowful Mysteries, the third of which is the Crowning with Thorns. Fruit of the mystery: Moral Courage. It literally takes 0.0000001% moral courage to recognize and determine with moral certainty that Bergoglio is not pope. Popular opinion is not the arbiter of truth, Bishop Schneider. Also, saying that Benedict can’t be pope because Bergoglio is pope is not an argument; it’s Begging the Question. You should know better.
If you have any public role in the Church at all, even if a blog or podcast, please keep Luke 14:26-27 in front of you as you read what follows. Wolves are endangering souls. -NVP
Today is the Feast of Saint Basil the Great, Bishop, Confessor, and Doctor of the Church. As a Doctor, his teachings are part of the Magisterium. Isn’t that cool? We should take notice.
BTW, I highly recommend the new Benedictus monthly missal. It’s a great companion to your 1962 missal, with daily meditations which are excellent. Its $5 per month. https://praybenedictus.com/
