The Apostle Paul on suffering... | Perseverance, 1 timothy, Quotes

I have an old four page pamphlet of “The Apostolate  of Suffering” which on the cover has a drawing of Jesus on the Cross saying:

“Give me your sorrow, heartaches, struggle, pain, fears, poverty, worry, loneliness, regrets, frustration, rejection, unhappiness, indecision,helplessness, fatigue, bitterness, anxiety, misery [etc…].”

The pamphlet, moreover, says Don’t Waste Suffering! Pay the Ransom – for Souls:

Why should there be an Apostolate of Suffering?

I have been redeemed by the Cross.  Therefore I must cooperate in the salvation of souls.  I can be and I desire to be an apostle in my sufferings.  Tears shed without love are wasted and embitter the soul.  To weep with love consoles, sanctifies and redeems.  No one is nearer the Crucified King.

 Fr. Mateo, SS.CC. in the pamphlet, writes:

Let those who are ill, those who suffer, those whose hearts are breaking under the Cross, listen to the words of life, of comfort and of hope that I address to them in the name and for the glory of the heart of Jesus.

The world is going astray along a path of unbridled sensuality.  You who are suffering and ill can stop thousands of souls on this downward path; you can rescue sinners and be apostles in your pain and weariness.  You can purify, make reparation, and save souls by offering your sufferings as an apostolate of love.

Vanity, frivolity, forgetfulness of God, and outrages against His Law daily threaten to fill hell with souls.  For love of Jesus, I beg you who are in anguish of soul to offer your family troubles, your sorrows and mental anguish as a missionary apostolate.  Give them all to Him.

Priests and religious need help in their sublime mission; you, whose hearts are torn with sorrow and trouble of every kind, you who are misunderstood, families in mourning, orphans, do not lose your golden treasure, do not waste your precious tears – perhaps a father, a husband, a brother or a son is in danger of eternal death.  Offer your sufferings, in the Chalice of Mary’s heart to Jesus Who thirsts for souls.

All you who suffer, do not forget that sorrow sanctified by love, becomes the holiest of missions, the most persuasive of sermons, the most fruitful of apostolates.

So preach the Social Reign of the heart of Jesus, even while you are nailed to the cross

COVID-19 and Cruise Ship Travel

Summary of Recent Changes

December 30, 2021

The COVID-19 Travel Health Notice level has been updated from Level 3 to Level 4, the highest level. This reflects increases in cases onboard cruise ships since identification of the Omicron variant.

  • Avoid cruise travel, regardless of vaccination status.
  • Even fully vaccinated travelers may be at risk for getting and spreading COVID-19 variants.
  • The virus that causes COVID-19 spreads easily between people in close quarters on board ships, and the chance of getting COVID-19 on cruise ships is very high, even if you are fully vaccinated and have received a COVID-19 vaccine booster dose.
  • Outbreaks of COVID-19 have been reported on cruise ships.
  • If you travel on a cruise ship, make sure you are fully vaccinated before travel and get a COVID-19 vaccine booster dose if you are eligible.
  • People who go on a cruise should get tested 1–3 days before their trip and 3–5 days after their trip, regardless of vaccination status or symptoms.
  • Along with testing, passengers who are not fully vaccinated should self-quarantine for a full 5 days after cruise travel.
  • People on cruise ships should wear a mask to keep their nose and mouth covered when in shared spaces. While CDC is exercising its enforcement discretion under CDC’s Mask Order to not require that persons wear a mask under certain circumstances on board foreign-flagged cruise ships subject to the Temporary Extension & Modification of the Framework for Conditional Sailing Order (CSO), including onboard cruise ships choosing to follow the requirements of the CSO on a voluntary basis, individual cruise lines may require travelers (passengers and crew) to wear masks on board the ship.

Roll up your sleeve(s): Netherlands health minister announces plan for SIX jabs

BY GERRARD KAONGA ON 12/30/21 AT 8:57 AM EST

Hugo de Jonge, health minister of The Netherlands, has indicated the country could be preparing another three coronavirus booster vaccines. De Jonge wrote a letter to his country’s parliament Wednesday suggesting the Netherlands should consider additional rounds of booster vaccines to fight new variants, with two of these in 2022 and another shot in 2023.

In the letter, De Jonge wrote: “Certainly because only half of a regular vaccine is needed for a booster dose of Moderna, we now have sufficient vaccines for the current booster campaign and there is ample basis for possible extra booster rounds in the second quarter and the autumn of 2022 and in 2023.”

The Netherlands has bought vaccine stock in bulk in order to avoid shortages. The country has ordered nearly 6 million additional vaccines alongside the 12 million already bought from Pfizer/Biontech. There is already an agreement in place with Pfizer/Biontech for at least another 17.5 million doses before 2023.

Infographic: Does anyone remember which countries/continents deployed ivermectin on a massive scale back in the spring? This picture tells it all.

https://ourworldindata.org/covid-cases

I mean, yeah. Pretty much the entire continent of Africa, where the use of ivermectin has been commonplace for years. Then Mexico, followed by large portions of India in May. Japan came along in the summer. Presumably they are all still dosing as a preventative?

But never mind, I’m sure the vaccines work just fine. Masks too.

These places that are 90% vaxxed with cases soaring… will anyone ever ask questions about vaccine-enhanced disease or antibody-dependent enhancement? Or will everyone just show up for their third and fourth and fifth shot?

“ADE has been observed for coronaviruses. Several studies have shown that sera induced by SARS-CoV spike enhance viral entry into Fc receptor-expressing cells (42,44). Further, one study demonstrated that unlike receptor-dependent viral entry, serum-dependent SARS-CoV entry does not go through the endosome pathway (44). Additionally, it has long been known that immunization of cats with feline coronavirus spike leads to worsened future infection due to the induction of infection-enhancing antibodies (45,47). However, detailed molecular mechanisms for ADE of coronavirus entry are still unknown.”

Lying liars gonna lie, Episode #139857

Their brains a re-wired. Compulsion has completely taken over. The point at which you know they are totally gone is when the lie is whole cloth, and done for no reason at all. In other words, they lie simply to get away with it, not because they need to get out of some jam, or cover up previous wrongdoing. The lying becomes just for fun, and again, the real thrill is in the GETTING AWAY WITH IT.

Kwanzaa is a made-up thing that was invented in 1966 by a convicted felon. The intention of its founder was to cancel Christmas for blacks, and give them an alternative to Jesus.

American Maulana Karenga created Kwanzaa in 1966 during the aftermath of the Watts riots[2] as a specifically African-American holiday.[3][4] Karenga said his goal was to “give blacks an alternative to the existing holiday of Christmas and give blacks an opportunity to celebrate themselves and their history, rather than simply imitate the practice of the dominant society.”[5] For Karenga, a major figure in the Black Power movement of the 1960s and 1970s, the creation of such holidays also underscored the essential premise that “you must have a cultural revolution before the violent revolution. The cultural revolution gives identity, purpose, and direction.”[6]During the early years of Kwanzaa, Karenga said it was meant to be an alternative to Christmas. He believed Jesus was psychotic and Christianity was a “White” religion that Black people should shun.[10] As Kwanzaa gained mainstream adherents, Karenga altered his position…

When Harris was born, Kwanzaa hadn’t been invented yet. Also, Harris is a Jamaican-Indian who claims African ancestry through her father. So if her “elders” celebrated anything, it was not something they brought with them or traditions from their youth, it was something of 1966 black panther vintage. Also, her parents divorced when she was seven, her mother moved her to Quebec when she was 12, and she was raised Hindu.

Then again, maybe she was telling the truth, and she did indeed celebrate Kwanzaa with all the original intent of its founder. Take your pick.

psst… it’s still Christmas! Rejoice!

Glory to the newborn King!

A mix of Anglican and Methodist notes and lyrics, performed in a stolen Catholic Church? I find no heresy, so yes, please! Just so long as we can agree that there will be no cheap grace of prot folly when we sing, “God and sinners reconciled.”

Note the First Violin absolutely shredding it the last 30 seconds. Happy Christmas, which continues unabated.

Hark! The herald-angels sing
“Glory to the newborn King;
Peace on earth and mercy mild,
God and sinners reconciled”
Joyful all ye nations rise,
Join the triumph of the skies
With the angelic host proclaim
“Christ is born in Bethlehem”
Hark! The herald-angels sing
“Glory to the new-born King”

Christ, by highest heaven adored
Christ, the everlasting Lord,
Late in time behold Him come
Offspring of a Virgin’s womb:
Veiled in flesh the Godhead see,
Hail the incarnate Deity
Pleased as man with man to dwell
Jesus, our Emmanuel
Hark! The herald-angels sing
“Glory to the newborn King”

Hail the Heaven-born Prince of Peace!
Hail the Sun of Righteousness!
Light and life to all He brings,
Risen with healing in His wings;
Mild He lays His glory by
Born that man no more may die
Born to raise the sons of earth
Born to give them second birth
Hark! The herald angels sing”Glory to the new-born King”

Ten years ago… it was the best of times, it was the worst of times

Feast of the Nativity of Our Lord at St. Peter’s Basilica with Pope Benedict XVI, 2011. These next five minutes will make you long for the days of beauty and peace. But remember, these were not “better times,” and it was a totally false peace. One could argue these were worse times, because the filth, deception, and heresy of the antichurch remained hidden. What these last nine years hath wrought has been one of God’s greatest lessons in VISIBILITY, about a great many things. Enjoy.

“There shall we see Him, His eternal Father’s everlasting brightness now veiled under flesh”

“And behold an angel of the Lord stood by them, and the brightness of God shone round about them; and they feared with a great fear. And the angel said to them: Fear not; for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, that shall be to all the people: For, this day, is born to you a Savior, who is Christ the Lord, in the city of David.” Luke 2:9-11

Merry Christmas!

Yea, Lord, we greet Thee, born this happy morning,
Jesu, to Thee be glory given.
Word of the Father, now in flesh appearing;

See how the shepherds, summoned to His cradle,
leaving their flocks, draw nigh to gaze.
We too will thither bend our hearts’ oblations;

There shall we see Him, His eternal Father’s
everlasting brightness now veiled under flesh.
God shall we find there, a Babe in infant clothing;

Child, for us sinners, poor and in the manger,
we would embrace Thee, with love and awe.
Who would not love Thee, loving us so dearly?

Adeste Fideles, verses 5-7: Abbé Étienne Jean François Borderies (1764-1832)
