Assassin seen dancing across roof, impossible not to spot

Do you know the powerful instinct your brain has to react to motion against a static background? Do you realize that even someone looking 90° away from the assassin would still have picked this up in their peripheral, due to that instinct. There were DOZENS OF EYES ON HIM. The only question at this point is, how deep does it go?

Meanwhile, Israel expands Gaza war into Lebanon and Iran

Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh was killed by a predawn airstrike in the Iranian capital Wednesday, Iran and the militant group said, blaming Israel for a shock assassination that risks escalating the conflict even as the U.S. and other nations were scrambling to prevent an all-out regional war. Iran’s supreme leader vowed revenge against Israel.

There was no immediate comment from Israel, which has pledged to kill Haniyeh and other Hamas leaders over the group’s Oct. 7 attack on southern Israel. The strike came just after Haniyeh had attended the inauguration of Iran’s new president in Tehran — and only hours after Israel targeted a top commander in Iran’s ally Hezbollah in the Lebanese capital Beirut.

The assassination of Hamas’ top political leader was potentially explosive amid the region’s volatile, intertwined conflicts — because of its target, its timing and the decision to carry it out in Tehran. Most dangerous was the potential to push Iran and Israel into direct confrontation if Iran retaliates.

“We consider his revenge as our duty,” Iranian supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said in a statement on his official website. He said Israel had “prepared a harsh punishment for itself” by killing “a dear guest in our home.”

Beaver County SWAT team confirms Secret Service never showed up for security briefing on day of assassination attempt

The local SWAT team assigned to help protect former President Donald Trump on July 13 had not had any contact with the Secret Service agents in charge of security before a would-be assassin opened fire, those officers told ABC News.

It was a critical part of the planning and communications failures that ended with a gunman killing one man, critically injuring two more and wounding Trump as he delivered a speech just days before accepting the Republican presidential nomination.

“We were supposed to get a face-to-face briefing with the Secret Service members whenever they arrived, and that never happened,” said Jason Woods, lead sharpshooter on the SWAT team in Beaver County, Pennsylvania.

“So I think that was probably a pivotal point, where I started thinking things were wrong because it never happened,” Woods said. “We had no communication.” …

(If you click the link, there are eight LEOs on video, all testifying the same thing. So I have to ask, can we really chalk it up to SS incompetence, when they didn’t even bother to show up for their own 9am security briefing?)

(Also, NYT put out new details last night, including screenshots of texts between the local LE once things were set in motion. You can view that HERE.)

Wouldn’t it be glorious if the mostly peaceful summer of 2020 came back to bite the Regime…

Not that I believe any of anything is on the up and up. What we know for sure from 2020 is that the Regime only needs to get within striking distance in the swing states and then the Steal will take over. So take this fwiw. But you can imagine the jackpot of not yet deleted tweets from the fire bombing rioting righteousness of 2020, right?

Secret Service Director Cheatle resigns after disastrous testimony to Congress… but will she be charged?

Having gone down in flames on live TV, and facing an impeachment vote, Kimberly Cheatle is out.

Sorry, but that’s not good enough. She needs to be charged. Her resignation does not exonerate her, and she is still accountable for additional hearings if Congress demands it. Her stunning Keystone Cops performance yesterday was widely perceived as incompetence. But is that true?

Is “failing to preserve” comms recordings an act of omission or commission? We all know the feds intentionally destroyed all their comms/emails/texts from J6… all of it gone before the end of January. Why would this be any different? What about failing to consider additional resources/force multipliers in the wake of heightened threat risks identified in advance? What about the security detail made up of J.V. scrubs, whom she herself deemed incapable of negotiating a roof with the slope of a wheelchair ramp? What about zero aerial surveillance, something even the assassin managed to pull off, hours before the attack.

In supporting their charge of incompetence, many have cited the fact that the Regime recruited Cheatle from Pepsico, insinuating inexperience. “Oh look, DEI hire, she was only ever guarding chips and soda.” Well, while it may be true that the Secret Service is now drowning in DEI, along with every other fedgov apparatus, and she indeed was the one implementing the DEI, she herself was not a DEI hire.

In fact, she had only been at Pepsico for a year, having just retired from the Secret Service AFTER A 29 YEAR CAREER. She retired as Assistant Director. She was a lifer! Can a lifer be incompetent? Of course it is possible. Everyone knows at least one. But what are the odds? Something smells rotten to me.

Here is her Linkedin. Decide for yourself.
