Over 25% of Americans born between 1997 and 2012 identify as LGBTQ, significantly higher than previous generations, according to a Tuesday poll from the Public Religion Research Institute.
The poll found that nearly 50% of Gen Z are more likely to identify as liberal and tend to be less religious than their millennial, Gen X or baby boomer counterparts. Meanwhile, 28% of Gen Z consider themselves LGBTQ, compared to only 16% of millennials, 7% of Gen X and a mere 4% of baby boomers.
Gen Z was also more likely to identify as “liberal” at 43%, with one out of six of the generation now eligible to vote, according to the poll. The poll respondents said that 31% of them identified as Democrats, 30% as Independents and only 21% claimed to be Republicans.
The younger generation was also most likely to express displeasure with older leadership in political office, with nearly 58% saying that “we won’t be able to solve the country’s big problems until the older generation no longer holds power” regardless of party affiliation, according to the poll.
The poll also found that respondents were less likely to belong to a specific faith, with 33% claiming a non-religious status. Data from April 2023 revealed that Gen Z was least likely to attend church services among all generations at 38%, and even those who identified as religious did not often attend church compared to older generations.
The survey was conducted from Aug. 21 to Sept. 15 with 6,014 participants aged 13 to 25. The margin of error for respondents aged 13 through 17 was plus or minus 1.51%, while the margin of error for those 18 through 25 was plus or minus 1.58%.
If this trend continues, Gen A will have 35% or 40% identifying as LGBTI and maybe 50% or 60% identifying as non religious. This outcome predictably follows the sexual revolution and the explosion of easily accessible pornography, family breakdown, and the collapse of the moral authority and practice of the Catholic Church following Vatican II leading to widespread apostasy.

I would take all of its many “poll” results with a pinch of salt at best.
Good catch. But the changing numbers for different generations destroys the “born that way” Leftist narrative. So I don’t know.
Marxist playbook does not require, nor even allow for logic or reason!
The more contradictions, inconsistencies and policy flip – flops, the better and quicker the end goal of demoralisation is achieved.
Thus, for example, “New Ice Age” in the 1960’s and early 1970’s became “Global Warming” in later decades and currently it’s “Climate Change”.

The only positive to this is that they are not reproducing. Those of us that are will at least somewhat contribute to the counterculture by having more than the average number of children.
They’ll just legally confiscate your children. Soon you’ll have to protect your children by having them in secret and raising them “undocumented” until they are adults.
Don’t worry, they’ll have company, the US Supreme Court has seen to that!

Texas ought to secede, but they won’t. Or they can be like the Francis-crowd and recognize but resist so that the mockery of America’s carcass continues. Anything but schism!
We really need honest scientists to look into how what we eat and drink may be affecting people in this way. The idea of being LGBTQ has always been appalling to most people. Are these young people biochemically affected — from the time they were conceived — by EDCs (endocrine disrupting chemicals) still in our drinking water after treatment? Drugs (steroids?)? Estrogens? — the birth control pill was introduced in the early sixties and since then how much estrogen has been released into the water that is not removed by water treatment processes? Not to mention stuff in food that blocks bacteria — does it also affect our gut bacteria and digestion? Has some form of critical mass been reached in this generation that causes people to actually want surgery to ostensibly change their sex? And unprecedented levels of obesity?
Exactly – and also shots. There is often overlap between ASD and identity problems. While ‘social contagion’ might be part of the problem, I think we should be investigating the effects of shots / pollutants a lot harder.
I think his is going to happen, it’s only a question of when:
