Antipope Bergoglio specifically proclaims the heresy of Amoris Laetitia as the Magisterium of the Church

I was off the grid for a few days over the weekend, and I missed a pretty major announcement from Antipope Bergoglio:

While meeting with a group of Southeastern Jesuits in Bangkok last month, Pope Francis invited their questions. One stated that they had “divorced and remarried” Catholics in their communities and asked how they are to “behave pastorally with them.”

“I could answer you in two ways: in a casuistic way, which however is not Christian, even if it can be ecclesiastical; or according to the Magisterium of the Church as in the eighth chapter of Amoris Laetitia, that is, journey, accompany and discern to find solutions,” the pontiff replied. “And this has nothing to do with situation ethics, but with the great moral tradition of the Church.” HERE

Now, some questions for Trad Inc.:

If a true pope declares a thing to be “according to the Magisterium of the Church,” can he be overruled? Can anyone stand in judgment of a true pontiff? Isn’t a true pope in fact the ARBITER of whether or not a thing is “according to the Magisterium of the Church?”

Yet we know for certain that chapter eight of Amoris Laetitia CANNOT POSSIBLY be part of the Magisterium of the Church, don’t we? Because if it were part of the Magisterium of the Church, that would mean that Adultery, Fornication, and Cohabitation could in some cases be morally permissible, and even positively willed by God? (p298, p300, p301, footnote 339, p303, p305, footnote 351)

Here is the juicy bit from paragraph 303, where poor souls are called to risk eternal damnation by discerning their own subjective culpability, because it is what God himself is asking:

Yet conscience can do more than recognize that a given situation does not correspond objectively to the overall demands of the Gospel. It can also recognize with sincerity and honesty what for now is the most generous response which can be given to God, and come to see with a certain moral security that it is what God himself is asking amid the concrete complexity of one’s limits, while yet not fully the objective ideal.

Do you pledge loyalty and submission to a man who proclaims objective mortal sin to be a moral good, willed by God? Do you submit? Are you in union with him? How is it that the Standard of Unity can also be the Vector of Schism?

Or just maybe it’s time to check your base premise. Remember the Ross Douthat interview of Cardinal Burke last month regarding heresy and demon worship coming out of the Amazonian Synod HERE, where ++Burke fell headlong into this error?

Burke: But what if the pope were to put his stamp on that document? People say if you don’t accept that, you’ll be in schism — and I maintain that I would not be in schism because the document contains elements that defect from the apostolic tradition. So my point would be the document is schismatic. I’m not.

Douthat: But how can that be possible? You’re effectively implying that the pope would be leading a schism.

Burke: Yes.

Whoops! If a true pope could lead a schism from the true Church, explain to me again how Christ isn’t a liar? How have the Petrine Promises not been broken, if this statement is true? How could any of the faithful have a moral duty to pledge unity and submission to a man or to an office which is capable of such monstrous error?

Douthat: Isn’t that a deep contradiction of how Catholics think about the office of the papacy?

Burke: Of course. Exactly. It’s a total contradiction. And I pray that this wouldn’t happen. And to be honest with you, I don’t know how to address such a situation. As far as I can see, there’s no mechanism in the universal law of the church to deal with such a situation.

So Bergoglio apparently has the power to violate the law of non-contradiction? That’s amazing. Do you see where a false base premise leads? You start out with this (false) thing that you think is true, you are sure of it. So sure of it, that you re willing to take any number of other known truths, even from scripture, and doubt their validity because their validity would violate the base falsity.

If Bergoglio is true pope, you are bound to submit to heresy, in order to be in union with him, in order to be saved. How can that be true?

“…Jurisdictional power of the Roman Pontiff is both episcopal and immediate. Both clergy and faithful, of whatever rite and dignity, both singly and collectively, are bound to submit to this power by the duty of hierarchical subordination and true obedience, and this not only in matters concerning faith and morals, but also in those which regard the discipline and government of the Church throughout the world. In this way, by unity with the Roman Pontiff in communion and in profession of the same faith, the Church of Christ becomes one flock under one Supreme Shepherd. This is the teaching of the Catholic truth, and no one can depart from it without endangering his faith and salvation.” Paster aeternus 18 July 1870

Folks, THINK. How can the Standard of Unity also be the Vector of Schism?

Pope Benedict is the one and only living pope, and has been since April 2005.

  1. Agree. So what now? Most Catholics will be pleased. Benedict will say nothing. Bergoglio will continue his devilish ways. Some Catholics will become sedevacantists. Trad, Inc. will be upset but do nothing but some double talk. We will shout and raise our hands with little avail. Eventually God will intervene and clear things up. All will be well in the end. In the meantime pray.

  2. Pray, yes…always. And call out those with large audiences on their error of accusing BiPs of being schismatics. If they don’t have the guts, stamina or fortitude to say what is true (Benedict is Pope)….fine…..but stop with the tiresome lie that our position is not valid. Its being proved DAILY to be true.

“but stop with the tiresome lie that our position is not valid. Its being proved DAILY to be true.”

I am saying your position is valid as it is also mine. But I am also saying don’t instigate a war within the overall orthodox community. Some folks are slower readers or fearful or something. Give them more time to come to their senses. To have impact more allies are needed. Wait a few months.

I said in the first year of the false-prohet’s antipapacy that the final goal for them is the sanctification of sodomy. period. Everything else was being done to serve that purpose. I was laughed at for the most part.. Not so funny now, eh? The abomination of desolation; the antithesis of God’s holy order; the inverse of holy, monogamous Matrimony (which is the physical reflection of the interior Life of the Holy Trinity…life-giving love).

The Germans are bergoglio’s puppet masters…it is ready to drop; as pregnant as the demon-pachamama…and EVERYTHING falls with it.

Fr. Z had a very interesting article the other day….

Only THIS time around, the (ape) church is carrying the lead banner, and the (fake) pope is the head cheerleader.

This magnificent work of prescience is certainly worth another read:
“Turning and turning in the widening gyre
    The falcon cannot hear the falconer;
    Things fall apart; the centre cannot hold;
Mere anarchy is loosed upon the world,
The blood-dimmed tide is loosed, and everywhere
    The ceremony of innocence is drowned;
The best lack all conviction, while the worst
    Are full of passionate intensity.

    Surely some revelation is at hand;
Surely the Second Coming is at hand.
The Second Coming! Hardly are those words out
When a vast image out of Spiritus Mundi
Troubles my sight: somewhere in sands of the desert
A shape with lion body and the head of a man,
A gaze blank and pitiless as the sun,
Is moving its slow thighs, while all about it
Reel shadows of the indignant desert birds.
The darkness drops again; but now I know
That twenty centuries of stony sleep
Were vexed to nightmare by a rocking cradle,
And what rough beast, its hour come round at last,
Slouches towards Bethlehem to be born?”

    1. Susan, I agree. This time last year, a disaster pretty much destroyed where I live, and I had to re-build. Had to replace everything but, I did not replace the television and see no reason one year later to do so. Every channel for the most part aired nothing but immorality and stupidity – clearly pushing an agenda. I was down to just watching EWTN and Fox News but the former was just getting too militantly Novus Ordo and the later irritating with all the talking heads shouting over each other. I don’t recall the exact quote but St. Padre Pio once said something to the effect that he did not have a TV because the devil was inside it. 100 percent true St. Pio!

  4. Mark…question for you….I have scoured my (pathetic) memory and the interwebs and just can’t find it:
Do you remember, about 4-5 years ago, bergoglio made a seemingly cryptic comment along the lines of, ‘there will come a time when things that were unthinkable, even thought to be ‘dirty’ will be approved (by him), and this will be a good thing’. I’m paraphrasing, but not much….do you remember this?

  5. susan says: December 11, 2019 at 1:55 pm

“Anyone who still has television feed into their home should SERIOUSLY get to confession.”.

Susan, these kind of words destroy ones credibility. Are you headed for the hills like St. Jerome?***

***”After just a few years in Rome, after the death of his patron Pope Damasus, and due to the enemies his blunt words and fiery temper always seemed to create, Saint Jerome left Rome for the Holy Land.”

    1. And Jerome did well. The enemies he made were jewels in his crown.

Do you truly not understand the level of sh*t coming through those wires? It is a purposeful, systematic desensitization to filth and perversion. Hollywood and the media are an abject cesspool by design…
      https://www.newsmax.com/Pre-2008/Communist-Goals/2003/05/08/id/675822/ (#17-28 are particularly relevant)
They are sucking your children and grandchildren into the abyss, and you’re paying them to do it with your cable/dish/netflix/et.al. payments, and then making excuses for it. I will not give them a dime to continue ruining souls….cut the TV cord about 7 years ago; major withdrawls for a couple months, then peace. Now when I watch it somewhere for 5 minutes, I’m shocked at the blatant push of perversion (of all sorts)…I’m sensitive to it again, and that’s a good thing. Starve the beast. Anyone going to Target needs to go to Confession too. (“ohhhh you rigid, picklefaced Christian….they have great stuff!”). Tell it Christ….I think He might have something…..non-irenic….to say in response.

      1. Agree 100% susan. Finally turned tv off after Obama’s second election (and Ann’s screaming about it years before). Best thing I did that year. Now I strictly watch dvds of mostly about Saints and my current favorite, For Greater Glory; Andy Garcia and the young boy playing St. Jose were outstanding. Have never been a Target fan, so no problem for me there.

        1. “Agree 100% susan. Finally turned tv off after Obama’s second election (and Ann’s screaming about it years before). Best thing I did that year. Now I strictly watch dvds of mostly about Saints and my current favorite,”

I disagree. Abandonment of reality is not the answer. Filtering and understanding reality is. You and Susan are kidding yourselves and misleading others. Such fanaticism cannot be held up as an ideal for Catholics. We should live in the world but not be part of it. Knowing what is going on is essential to living. Filter the bad stuff for sure but don’t close off avenues of communication as both of you appear to be doing. Given your position why not chuck the internet too. It too is full of bad stuff. Grow up!

      2. Susan: St. Padre Pio considered TV to be the devil’s tabernacle. It’s good to be in agreement with that man.

I agree with you. Haven’t used cable pretty much ever. Our large screen is gone now. Just a monitor is all that’s left. We stream education videos for our special needs.

      3. Michael, you may want to ask yourself why you’re so angry about my decision to turn off tv. I simply got sick of it. And I did it before converting. The time I saved from not watching tv allowed me the time to “stumble” on sites like this who explained the absolute necessity to be Catholic. A grace maybe?

If you like, I could link a couple sermons from truly Catholic priests who also recommend chucking the ole boob tube…Lmk.

        1. Kono on TV issue.

“Michael, you may want to ask yourself why you’re so angry about my decision to turn off tv. I simply got sick of it. And I did it before converting.”

Not angry at all. I don’t watch TV either. My whole point, my whole mindset, my view of Catholicism and the ;meaning of life and so forth has to do with not shaming folks for their beliefs. I have 11 grown kids along with a large number grand children and great grandchildren who often do un-Catholic things which I’m not going to harangue them about. My attitude is when the un-Catholic things get bad enough and they are hurting bad, that will be the time to discuss how the Catholic faith can help them. Issues precede solutions in most cases.

      4. Watching TV is ‘reality’…..that’s a really good one Michael. You had me slappin’ my knee and rolling on the floor with that one.

        …oh wait a minute….you were serious……

      5. Michael, in charity, I would encourage you to look over this thread in regards to tv. Your tone certainly seems to be one of anger, and that anger has manifested itself in your being inconsistent.

        1. Oy, kono–

“Michael, in charity, I would encourage you to look over this thread in regards to tv. Your tone certainly seems to be one of anger, and that anger has manifested itself in your being inconsistent.”

Not anger kono, exasperation. There is a certain Pharisaical perfectionism that is woven through this thread that is off-putting..

  6. Saying such a thing in an interview or conversation is not a declaration of magisterial authority. He is simply saying that he thinks his teaching accords with Catholic teaching – which it doesn’t in the case of the death penalty (though his teaching on that makes no Catholic sense) or in the case of communion for the invalidly remarried (which he has also avoided making a definitive clear statement on, though we all know exactly what he means and wants). So either he knows he is not pope, or if he is pope he is avoiding crossing the line of solemnly teaching heresy. .

  7. Grandmaintexas: It reminds me of the Jews who strictly adhered to their ceremony, the Law, but failed to see the promised Messiah in their midst – the point of their existence since Abraham and the first prophecy.

They had the shell. They did not have the soul. They had the Law. They did not have the *heart*. They had the form. They didn’t have God.

The Pope exists for one purpose only: to maintain unity of all the Faithful *in Christ* – the same through all generations.

We get lost in the weeds of Canon Lawyers and their rules and regulations – all of them just fine in their proper place. But we’ve lost Christ. We debate the Pope issue and how far across the sexual deviancy line we can permissibly go; how much Dogma can we permissibly give up for ecumenism’s sake; how much can the Papal Office be transformed and still be considered valid; how much can we transform Holy Orders and still consider them holy? So Pharisaical.

The Pope can be a team of cooperative members? Sure!

They have answers for everything but at the end of the day, they’ve lost Christ, and His herald, Wisdom.

    1. “The Pope can be a team of cooperative members?”
Benedict XVI has this idea (office sharing) fixed in his coat of arms motto:
‘COOPERATORES VERITATIS’ (Cooperators of the truth)
According to this idea, he divided the visible head of the church into two pieces so far, but there is already rumors about the third. So, sure!

      1. I’ve been watching Republicans defend the American Constitution and our Rule Of Law against invisible and visible Deep State leftists who aim to overthrow our Representative Republic via a coup and replace it with the invisible hand of unelected leftist elites.

These men and women are heroes. These men and women are fighting the tide of political revolution and are acquiring themselves like men and women in full. No hand wringing and tales of woe on their side. They stand tall, feet firmly planted, shoulders back, head up, flag held high ….. and they eviscerate their leftist lying enemies with the Truth. There is political blood flowing in the Capital right now. It is the blood of the leftist cause, which aims to enslave us under their satanic form of government, draining out the door.

And I can’t help but compare our American heroic response to the Catholic Cardinals and Bishops, faced with a similar coup against St. Peter’s Throne and against our God. I can’t help but think about all the Catholics who see the demonic coup for what it is but do nothing. “Nothing can be done. How long, O Lord? Relive our suffering. Perhaps one day. Whimper. The Pope and Cardinals get to do anything they choose. It is our job to submit. And suffer. Perhaps go to Hell. Sniff.”

Man up! The Catholic Church has the Mother Of All Constitutional Frameworks! No one, even (especially) the Pope himself! We are not Catholic *unless* we submit to Sacred Tradition and Dogmatic Truth. *STARTING* with the Pope. And then, he rest of us with him.

God is who we worship. Sacred Tradition is a Pearl Of Great Price. Truth now. Truth in eternity. It will never change. No one, especially the Pope, gets to put their mark on that!

Defend the Office of Pope. Defend Sacred Tradition. Defend our Lady and our Lord. Stop hiding, and cowering, Cardinals, Bishops, Priests! Act like these brave Republicans who may very well have just saved our nation, along with our brave, intrepid Don Juan Trump.

  8. I am continually amazed how Burke seems more zealous in pointing out how evil Bergoglio is, but apparently lacking on all zeal to separate from him. It’s almost as if he wants to become the official theological spokesman for the AntiChrist and revels in evil.

    1. @ The Editor: Exactly. It is like the FBI Director James Comey moment in July 2016, when he carefully defines every crime Hillary Clinton committed by storing State secrets on her personal server; builds the case of treasonous criminality … and then declares it all within the bounds of reasonable behavior and not criminal after all.

That was worse than not investigating at all. Yes she did it. No it doesn’t matter.

Defining and declaring the heresy … then declaring it within reasonable bounds not demanding response is a travesty. It would have been better to have remained silent.

  9. Agree with Susan and others. As per Father Gobbi, who founded the Marian Movement of Priests:

Fr Gobbi makes reference to this same idol in an earlier message, and specifically relates it to modern technology, such as television:

Do not waste time before the television set, which is the most powerful instrument in the hands of my Adversary in spreading everywhere the darkness of sin and of impurity. Television is the idol spoken of in the Book of Revelation, built to be adored by all the nations of the earth, and to which the Evil One gives shape and movement so that it might become, in his hands, a terrible means of seduction and perversion. (Message 374)

We have to keep in mind that Fr Gobbi received these locutions some years before the invention of the worldwide web and WAP phones, so while the internet, computers, cell phones, etc. aren’t specifically mentioned here, they are definitely part of the wider social communications technology he frequently refers to elsewhere. It is also worth noting that in the first message cited above, Fr Gobbi states that the idol wouldn’t be fully established until the period in history beginning in the year 1998 – which is well outside the date of the first introduction of television during the 1930’s. So clearly television isn’t the sole reference point of the “idol” Fr Gobbi refers to – it must involve something else also. We can find some further evidence that this “idol” is specifically linked to the introduction of WAP cell phones in an earlier message which is part of the Fr Gobbi’s overall commentary on the mark of the Beast:

Above all, my Immaculate Heart is today becoming the sign of my certain victory in the great battle which is being fought out between the followers of the huge red Dragon and the followers of the Woman clothed with the sun. In this terrible struggle, there comes up from the sea, to the aid of the Dragon, a beast like a leopard. If the Red Dragon is Marxist atheism, the Black Beast is Freemasonry. The Dragon manifests himself in the force of his power; the Black Beast, on the other hand, acts in the shadow, keeps out of sight and hides himself in such a way as to enter in everywhere. He has the claws of a bear and the mouth of a lion, because he works everywhere with cunning and with the means of social communication, that is to say, through propaganda. The seven heads indicate the various masonic lodges, which act everywhere in a subtle and dangerous way.
This Black Beast has ten horns and, on the horns, ten crowns, which are signs of dominion and royalty. Masonry rules and governs throughout the whole world by means of the ten horns. The horn, in the biblical world, has always been an instrument of amplification, a way of making one’s voice better heard, a strong means of communication…

…If the Lord has communicated His Law with the Ten Commandments, Masonry is everywhere spreading a law which is completely opposed to that of God, with the power of its ten horns. (Message 405)

  10. I remember a man named, if I recall, Peter Singer, in Canada, who was quoted in one of Michael Brown’s books, from the 1980s. He said (paraphrasing) that “even now mankind is building an idol to worship, the Shining Darkness.”

I wondered for many years what he was referring to. Now it’s clear: every child staring into their screen, the “shining darkness,” the giant flat screen tvs and “smart” phones.

If any of you have doubts about how Hollywood and the music industry’s output is deliberately designed to be diabolical, spend a little time at Vigilant Citizen’s website. But only go there wearing the full armor of God.

I grew up, like most of my generation, watching Green Acres, Beverly Hillbillies, Gilligan’s Island and all the rest. Then, around 1970, a deliberate decision was made to remove any wholesome content and replace it with disturbing content intended to celebrate social destruction, single-parent households, and, later, sodomy. ‘All in the Family’ was the first. Slowly the moral culture was ratcheted lower and lower, step by step (as Daniel Patrick Moynihan noted 30 years ago). Now I find television detestable, but in most public spaces, airports, waiting rooms, it is inescapable. And people still turn to MSM for news, not understanding it is nothing but propaganda.

But someone mentioned ‘For Greater Glory;’ it’s sitting right in front of me, and I plan to watch it tonight.

Peace to all here, and pray continuously that souls be saved. Contra mundum!
