Trump now says Ukraine can win back all lost territory because EU, okay?

President Donald Trump said Tuesday afternoon that he thinks Ukraine, with help from the European Union, could win back its territory from Russia and return the country to its original borders.

The president had previously suggested numerous times that giving up some land would be a key component of resolving Ukraine’s war with Russia.

“After getting to know and fully understand the Ukraine/Russia Military and Economic situation and, after seeing the Economic trouble it is causing Russia, I think Ukraine, with the support of the European Union, is in a position to fight and WIN all of Ukraine back in its original form,” Trump said in a lengthy post on Truth Social.

The president said that with the financial support of NATO, returning Ukraine to its original borders is “very much an option.” He added that Russia has been “fighting aimlessly for three and a half years a War that should have taken a Real Military Power less than a week to win. This is not distinguishing Russia.”

  1. Read between the lines. It’s a statement that commits the U.S. to doing nothing except delivering weapons that the E.U. specifically must pay for.

It’s a “good”-sounding (“good” only if you’re a European believer in the Ukraine war) to say, sorry guys! You’re on your own! P.S. We don’t hate you! Get your act together – if you can; pay us for some stuff; and we’ll see what happens!

    1. And when the escalation leads to a NATO country invoking Article 5, already very close with Poland and Estonia, then what?

      1. Mark – Touche, yes Article 5 is the worry & especially with Ukraine doing false flags. My own comment was description not approval.

btw, Russia has been at it longer now than the U.S. was in WW2, in Europe. Over 3 and a half years.

    2. Trump was clever to say “EU” , but everyone knows that it is NATO that has guaranteed Ukraine security and it is under NATO that we are sending weapons.

And so it will be under NATO when we eventually get involved with nuclear weapons.

  2. The only reason all of Ukraine isn’t in Russian hands is due to the patience and restraint and rationality of Putin.

It 8 months Trump went from The President of Peace to the President of World War Three.

Someone needs to explain how Biden or Kamala would’ve been worse. Endless war, cover ups, assassinations, economic misery. This is the lesser evil?

  3. Hell no! Ukraine is and always was a part of Russia. Kiev was the original capital of Rus (Russia). Putin has been more than patient in this special military operation but it’s way past time for him to step it up, re-take it all, capture then try and upon conviction, execute Zelensky and other war criminals. Kazariah must NEVER be re-established and that’s why what’s happening there is happening. Step it up President Putin and may Our Lady of Vladimir lead you to victory.

    1. Kind of agree. My way of saying it is: Ukraine’s mere existence is a kind of civil war or rebellion against Moscow. Because they had been one people, once known as Kievan Rus.

That said, I want the war & dying to stop. Russia has been trying for 3 and a half years and no end in sight. It makes sense for Russia to keep the provinces they acquired. Beyond that? Russia ending the civil war (Ukraine’s existence) seems rather impractical, it would be too much war. At least until a real Pope finally consecrates Russia and therefore, they get help from Mary.

  4. When we pray after Mass for the conversion of Russia I often wonder why Our Lady didn’t ask for the conversion of the United States. Maybe we’re so bad because the consecration of Russia was never made so communist errors, as Mary predicted, were spread throughout the world but most especially to the United States.

    1. I believe Russia was one of the earliest countries to go for abortion as well as communism. And, if you believe certain theories, Khazaria (Ukraine) back in the day just *barely* converted to Judaism and kept some closet satanism, so maybe there’s that error too? Anyway lots of errors spread from greater Russia.

I can’t speak for Our Lady but I imagine her concern for converting Russia might be like when Our Lord chose Rome to be the center of Christendom. I mean, why would He? I can’t speak for Him but I do note, it was an impressive thing to do. Rome had been the biggest, most brutal center of paganism. Converting Rome, that was real conversion.

    2. Russia is a more religious, Christian country than the US. Conversion indeed. They threw off Satan in 1991, we throw open our doors to the liar of the ages with every Muslim or other heathen we import.

      1. There are more atheists per capita in Russia than any other European country. And it is one of the biggest abortion providing countries.

And the Orthodox church there works wirh the government to spy on people and persecutes Catholics.

All that said, they’re in the right over the Ukraine issue.

  5. As Paul Craig Roberts warned, Putin’s slow methodical approach and calls for dialogue and signed agreements was a miscalculation because Putin doesn’t understand Washington’s prideful insanity which would misinterpret Russian patience and restraint as weakness.

It is the same pathology that drives the American liberal democrat left in their thinking towards the Conservative right that is also in possession of the Western political class’s faculties against the East.

Russia, like the Vatican II apparatus, thought it could be ecumenistic with an enemy that simply desires to destroy it. And the more that Russia and the fools running the Church bend over and hesitate, the more the enemy is emboldened. It is one of the traits of narcissism, and those are always the sort that that POS system called democracy would always gravitate toward putting in power.

Russia is not yet consecrated. There is no true Pope at this time. And time is running out. So Trump or no Trump, things were always going to end up this way.

Don’t be fooled by the idea that the Ukrainian situation will be solely left to Europe. The plan is to have the EU take on Russia, while the US concentrates on China and the Middle East. All those tariffs are pseudo sanctions attempting to harm your opponent’s economies while ensuring that tech and manufacturing returns back to your side for the war effort to make chips for AI, drones and missiles under the broad cover of fair trade deals. But that was a gamble, China ain’t moving, and Trump pushed India closer to the East. He’s been repeatedly threatening more sanctions he knows are useless because the BRICS are looking to decouple and become self-reliant. And that’s what this is all about.

  6. This is Trump going Fonzie, jumping the shark. There is no 4D chess of making the EU play adult unless he is willing to bin NATO ( that I would cheer), this is just how non serious he is becoming. Three time Trump voter by the way.

  7. The Russians use something called a scissors strategy whereby they infiltrate both the right and the left. This has been described by Stanislav Lunev and other defectors. We were warned years in advance that the fall of communism was a deception to lure the west out of a state of vigilance regarding Russia, China, Cuba, Venezuela, Brazil, Nicaragua, and various other nations constituting the communist bloc. (Golitsyn and Sejna). I won’t name them all here.

Russia is not holy. Putin is not a Christian. These are ideas originating from Moscow think tanks to deceive especially right leaning Americans who would otherwise be preaching extreme vigilance and readiness for war ( what better defense is there?). Putin is an avowed communist who stood up and gave a speech at a world communist youth gathering in Sochi a few years ago telling all the young assembled there that he was behind them.

Russia and Ukraine reached a settlement after the dissolution of the Soviet Union on what their borders would be. Now the Russians have broken that agreement and westerners are going around repeating the Moscow-directed slogan that Ukraine was part of Russia and they are just taking what was always theirs anyway. Well, Alaska was also a part of Russia. And the Russians are now saying it was mearly leased to the US and that they intend to take it back. Mr Lavrov showed up at the conference in August in Alaska wearing a sweater Ed emblazoned with ‘CCCP’. Catholic seer Alois Irlmaier prophesied that the invasion of North America by communist forces would be through Alaska and Canada. Lee Wheelbarger over at KLW world news on Rumble is doing a great job detailing the build up of Russian forces on both the western NATO border and in the east.

Another point. A communist always calls an enemy a fascist or a Nazi. You can even see this in Bella Dodd’s excellent book School of Darkness. (I also recommend listening to her testimony before the House un-American Activities committee). She is a very important American anti-communist figure, up there with Whittaker Chambers. Knowing this, it was hard for me to get excited about the blitz out of right wing circles that the Russians were fighting Nazis in this war. Really, if you read this stuff, they always use this language. Zelensky would have to be the first Jewish Nazi I have ever heard of. Is there corruption in Ukraine? All former Soviet Republics are corrupt. The purpose of repression in the early years of the Soviet Union was to corrupt the populace as described by Solzhenitsyn. This corruption has been spreading world wide since the end of WWII (an event that resulted in the spread of this cancer globally so well described by Diana West in her excellent book American Betrayal). WWI consolidated communism in Russia, WWII began it’s global spread.

I’ve been thinking about Malachy Martin’s mention of Ukraine. What army ever fights to the death? If Ukraine falls, will the Russians tell the 700,000 strong Ukrainian army, which is now battle-hardened, that the only way they can avoid death is to join with them and turn on the west?

    1. That’s a lot of horse manure you’re shovelling there, Canuck Lady.

Communism was always an error-laden reaction to the excessive erroneous greed of Capitalism.

Communism lost the cold war to Capitalism. But Capitalism left unchecked once again breeds Communism. When the jobs go away and the debt piles up and the inflation skyrockets and robots and computers replace the human, already pressured by uncontrolled cheap labor immigrants, the people get desperate for a solution to the horrors Capitalism creates.

Capitalism also loves war and pillaging other nation’s materials and the legal loopholes of doing shady things outside the borders of your HQ.

The East West war today is exactly all about the money and who controls the trade.

NATO is a racket and the mob musclemen of Military Inc. and the SWIFT banking system, and the petro-dollar dominance.

Russia is being very sensible in checking NATO’s evil aggression on it’s doorstep.

Those parts of Ukraine that are now Russia’s wanted out of Ukraine because their ethnic Russian people were being persecuted and murdered by the post-American regime-changed and recognized Neo-Nazi Banderites.

Crimes exercised their democratic right to secede from Ukraine and return to Russia under international law. So did Doneytsk and Lugansk. But Russia, not wanting to further inflame tensions told them to remain in Ukraine, and only reincorporated Crimea out of concern for their Black Sea naval base. When Ukraine attacked these provinces, Russia was obligated to assist them with military aid. Later, Ukraine agreed to in the Minsk agreements, to stop assaulting them and allow them measures of self-governance. But Germany, and the UK used this to fool Putin and buy time, then told Ukraine to attack and promised NATO membership. Putin then used the authority of International Law to recognize these provinces rights to secede and become independent states, belonging neither to Ukraine nor Russia. They were now sovereign. As sovereign states they could legally request military assistance from another country. Therefore Russia attacked the Ukrainian Nazis invading these new sovereign states and drove them out.

Ukraine, being unwilling to make any peace agreement that would leave these new countries independent, kept attacking, and so a buffer zone needed to be created requiring the invasion and destruction of more Ukrainian territory so that Ukrainian missiles could not reach them. Instead, NATO had to intervene directly with personnel on the ground and US missiles and satellite assistance to salvage the war, all to regain the resources they hoped to loot from Ukraine for the Capitalist endeavors while using Ukraine as another proxy front for war and terrorism and false flag operations around Russia, in the ME (Syria), Europe (Nord Stream 2), and even as far as drone operations in Africa. So Ukraine haas been busy fighting all over the world while whining about Russia’s “invasion”! So busy that they even indefinitely suspended democracy for wartime, meaning there is no legally recognized Ukrainian government for Moscow to make an agreement with, hence why Putin only talks to Trump. Ukraine is a proxy American/Israeli war. Zelynski is a Jewish Nazi, just like Netanyahu is a covert HAMAS supporter, and the USA and Israel are best buds with the Islamic State Jihadis they now recognize as the New Syrian government. Capitalism makes for strange bedfellows. This is all about money and power, not principle, which is why Jews like Netanyahu, Zelensky, Newland, and goys like Justin Trudeau, Macron, Merkel, Boris etc. love them some actual Nazis while labelling conservatives and nationalists with far-right labels. Those Nazis, like certain Islamic militants are very useful!

Much more can be said about the evil that America, Ukraine, UK, EU, and Canada are doing and antagonism against Russia stretching all the way back to Edward Snowden’s asylum, and Russia’s laws against LGBT public proselytism.

Russia is starting to flex overtly with military buildups, wargames, and assymetrical antagonism such as seizing Western assets and provocative questions about Alaska.

When Russia finally invades Europe and attacks North America directly, it will be more than justified, and no man ought to be stupid enough to defend any Western government, even if they drag the elderly and pregnant women to the front like Ukraine desperately does. That poor Ukrainian girl who got stabbed in the US would still be alive if she fled to Russia instead.

Stop drinking the western mainstream propaganda kool aid. If you believe their Ukraine is strong and winning nonsense, then I have some lovely vaccines to sell you!

    2. Ukrainians are literal Nazis. Look up the Azov battalion. Look up Yaroslav Hunka, a Ukrainian who fought for the Nazis in World War 2 that your government tried to honor. Look up Stepan Bandera, a literal Ukrainian Nazi who fought the communists in WW2 and is honored nationwide.

But even if you don’t belive that, the paper trail shows that the west is the reason there is war in Ukraine. For decades Russia told the US that eastward expansion of NATO to Russia’s borders was unacceptable . Would you allows a Russian led military alliance on the border with Canada? Of course you wouldn’t.

Russia said in 2007 that they’d had enough and that NATO expansion to Georgia and Ukraine were clear red lines. After the US unilaterally abandoned the ABM treaty with Russia, US missile batteries started showing up in the east. To deny Russia had a complaint here is asinine.

Ukraine voted for neutrality in 2009. They knew that western Ukraine was European and Eastern Ukraine was Russian. They didn’t want problems. But in 2014 the US staged a coup that brought in puppets. Russian invaded the east abs Crimea to protect ethnic Russians and its navy base. In late 2021 when the US declared Ukraine a defacto NATO state, Russia had no choice to go to war.

There a very concise video of the history of this conflict by Jeffrery Sachs, and another longer video by Gonzalo Lira, an American journalist who died in a Ukrainian prison 2 years ago
