  1. I don’t think any of us expected “when the Son of Man comes will he find faith on earth?” to look quite like this.

Yet… the parallels with His Passion are striking.

  2. I came late to the show “Mad Men”. Though it portrays a womanizer Don Draper and in no way a Christian shown I really thought it was well written and had some fine performances. The scene where Sally reads her mother’s letter to her after she died is such an emotional scene. I thought Jon Hamm was great as the lead.

But I was just made aware of a new show Hamm is in called “Friends and Neighbors ” where Hamm’s character and Amanda Peet’s character break into the a Catholic chuch and snack on the eucharist with jelly and mock it saying “the body of Christ”.

Of course the writers and producers of the show are Jewish, but I was appalled and came to the conclusion that all anyone in Hollywood is is a whore who will do anything for fame and money.

What an awful awful thing to do.

    1. The Latin Mass did not stop Vatican II from coming. Every Modernist Bishop and Priest before 1970 offered the Latin Mass.

      1. It won’t stop the antichrist from coming either unfortunately. On balance though it will be a rejection of the pseudo magisterium of that guy who was there last 12 years. The NO won’t last much longer. It will collapse of its own shallow and ugly accord. It already has in many places.

  3. Thought more about it. Get the Mass back; the one without the dreaded superficial hand shaking and air kissing and waving right before Communion. THEN deal with the exaltation of the sin of indifferentism. The rest will follow.

  4. IMHO we should return to the pre-1955 Missal, as Fr.Mawdsley suggests. Even the 1962 Missal is deficient due to
the changes to the liturgy done by John XXIII and even Pius XII. The FSSP in North America promotes and sells the 1945 St. Andrew Missal which has the older Triduum services and volumes of historical information on the ancient traditional celebrations of the church. I use it even at the SSPX chapel I attend, which is the only TLM available in well over 150 miles; not an easy commute (especially in Winter) for an octogenarian.

    1. I agree. A good, rational way to get back on the right path is to go back to a point prior to where it veered off. A safe place to “reset” things.

  5. I see the same issue with the SSPX. What a position they’re in. If Leo approves their next bishops everyone will rejoice that the SSPX is finally recognized as being in “full communion”. Yes, communion with the Modernist anti-church. No one would rejoice more than the Modernists. I recommend the YouTube video Sedevacantism and Satanism which mentions making peace with the devil.

  6. I agree 100%, Mark. If I cheated on my wife and my mistress died after a 12 year affair, I could not just come back and pretend it never happened. There has to be a full accounting and reconciliation post-Bergolio. I absolutely cannot fathom, for example, what Patrick Coffin is up to. We can’t just pretend everything is all good now. If we had an anti-Pope running things for a dozen years, shouldn’t someone, you know, DO SOMETHING!

  7. It’s not going to happen. Not in our lifetimes at least. There will be no trial of his exhumed corpse. I say focus on the possible and the important.

    1. During the Q&A session of an Ed Mazza, Ann Barnhardt and Father Paul Kramer presentation one of the participants inquired if she would live to see the restoration of the Church.

Father Kramer took the question and related a Padre Pio prediction. During one of Padre Pio’s audiences a pilgrim asked if she would see the beginnings of the Church’s restoration.

Padre Pio said she wouldn’t and then pointed to a group of children who were born in 1952 stating, ” But they will.”

      Who knows?
