Here is the Iranian UN mission tweeting at 6:06pm Eastern, stating that this is a one-and-done response to the Israeli terrorist attack on the embassy, IF THE ISRAELIS STAND DOWN AND THE US STAYS OUT OF IT.

Problem is: Iran & Qatar must also stay away. (Conceding that U.S. must stay away. But all 3. & also conceding, U.S. must stay out of Ukraine & 19 other countries.)
Seems like a pretty obvious case of Israel trying to shift the focus from the 7 WCK workers they killed (including one US citizen) and get America off their case by uniting behind a common enemy.
I’m no fan of the Iranian regime either, but clearly stating their just reasons for retaliating, and that their operations were concluded, is a pretty crafty move. The ball is in Israel’s court now. Anything they do to Iran from this point forward can only be seen as aggression.
Media is reporting that Israel is going to make a strong response, so the escalation will continue. Be nice if we had a President who would tell Israel that you don’t get to attack embassies, so take your little spanking and let it be done. We all know Israel desperately wants the US directly involved. God help us.
