PHOENIX — Arizona now has the ability to do 5,000 tests a day through its free surge testing, but where are the people?
It took four days for Arizona to reach 5,000 tests despite the state saying they could test 5,000 people a day.
On Monday, Arizona reported 5,537 tests since the surge sites started last Friday.
In a press release on Tuesday, the Arizona Department of Health Services said that there are thousands of free COVID-19 tests still available. “The free testing offered at our surge testing sites is available to all Arizonans, whether or not you live in these areas,” said Governor Doug Ducey. “We encourage anyone who wants to get tested for COVID-19 to take advantage of this opportunity, even if you do not have symptoms. No one will be turned away.”
ABC15 asked the governor’s office where the people are as the demand seems to have dropped.
A member of the governor’s staff said they are seeing positive signs in terms of the decline in case growth, percent positivity and in the COVID-like illness surveillance, but adds we can’t let up.
Reminds us of: ‘Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb’ (Virus).
Psychological and germ warfare is now upon us. Don’t you love it??
In San Antonio they are now disallowing testing among the non-symptomatic.
That’s a good thing Angela. Remember the young mother who had no symptoms but got tested and ‘came up positive’ (the accuracy of which is greatly in doubt, though that’s another subject), and the state “asked” her to sign a ridiculous lawyerese form basically signing her life away to them and requiring her to call them for permission to leave the house for any reason. She intelligently refused, but said she and her husband and child would self-quarantine. The gestapo got a court order (stating she was uncooperative and refused to self-quarantine, both lies) and came for to her home and slapped ankle bracelets (!) on her and her husband.
Anyone who would get tested for this JOKE of a cold is an idiot. I don’t know if I would even go to the hospital if I were in respiratory distress at this point…would rather die at home with my husband by my side, praying together.
Reality, for many people, is created by total multi-media immersion – an artificial virtual reality.
And that is why people are going literally insane.
Insanity. n. mental illness of such a severe nature that a person cannot distinguish fantasy from reality, cannot conduct her/his affairs due to psychosis, or is subject to uncontrollable impulsive behavior. (law.com)
I know music is personal. Our family loves For King And Country. Great music. Great people. Evangelical (proddie – fwiw) Christians. Listen to them all the time – our kids love them … especially Burn The Ships.
This song is a good reminder – “Joy”

I thought Freddie Mercury was dead…….hmmph.
Susan,
Songs by Freddie Mercury go like this:
Mama, just killed a man
Put a gun against his head
Pulled my trigger, now he’s dead
Mama, life had just begun … etc
(Bohemian Rhapsody)
Songs by King And Country go like this:
Oh, hear my prayer tonight, I’m singing to the sky
Give me strength to raise my voice, let me testify
Oh, hear my prayer tonight, ’cause this is do or die
The time has come to make a choice
And I choose joy (etc)
(Joy)
I thought, given the topic at hand, the song was appropriate. People are going nuts, and it is due largely (in my view) to godless, leftist controlled Social Mass Media immersion. Fear. Rage. Anger. Irrational choices. Crazy. Disconnect for what’s unhealthy, and *choose* joy. That’s the point of this song.
My pack of special needs kids watch these videos and dance to the songs every day. They never get tired of them. We can learn a lot from the simplicity of their lives, and enjoyment of simple things. I do.
This one is brilliant, too.
Without Love (Charity).
It depicts a world of Mass Media controlled bots, doing and being as they’re told. The cure? Disconnect from the machine and *choose* Love (Charity) that comes from God.

Thanks for the space to post this Mark. Off topic, perhaps, but I see it as relevant.
I was joking Aqua….trying to interject a little levity into the increasing insanity all around us. I got a kick out of his 70’s ‘stash.
Susan,
The guy with the ‘stache is Joel Smallbone. In addition to singing, he is also a budding actor.
He recently played in a really good movie, Priceless, directed by his brother Ben Smallbone, who previously directed the movie Taken.
Priceless tells a true story of human trafficking; those who do it, those who get sucked into it and how, some adjacent casualties, and some amazing redemptive solutions possibilities to the terrible problem.
Anyway, the ‘stache guy plays the main character in this Priceless movie (based on true) that gets sucked into something way over his head.
I’ve always had a place in my heart for people (characters in stories also) like this who are great sinners but still have a strong conscience and just need someone to help them tune in and do the right thing whatever the cost.
Here’ a must read article on the entire situation:
