Remember that time Pope Benedict invited Cardinal Biffi to preach about the Antichrist being an Ecologist?

Pope’s Retreat Preacher Speaks on Antichrist as a “pacifist, ecologist and ecumenist”

VATICAN CITY, March 1, 2007 (LifeSiteNews.com) – Papal watchers are wondering what message Pope Benedict XVI was giving when he selected retired Bologna archbishop Cardinal Giacomo Biffi to preach the annual Lenten retreat to the Pope and the top members of the Vatican…
This year’s selection…created a stir since Cardinal Biffi, while he is known for orthodox faith and frank words, is most well known, at least in the secular media, for his preaching on the Antichrist.  In fact, the Times of London reported in 2004 that the Cardinal described the Antichrist as “walking among us”.
The Lenten retreat did not disappoint.  Cardinal Biffi picked up on his oft repeated theme of the Antichrist, basing his remarks on the works of Vladimir Soloviev, a Russian religious philosopher who has received praise from Pope Benedict prior to his elevation to the pontificate.
Quoting Soloviev, the Cardinal said “the Antichrist presents himself as pacifist, ecologist and ecumenist.”
“He will convoke an ecumenical council and will seek the consensus of all the Christian confessions, granting something to each one. The masses will follow him, with the exception of small groups of Catholics, Orthodox and Protestants,” he said according to a Zenit translation of a Vatican Radio summary here: http://www.radiovaticana.org/it1/Articolo.asp?c=120479 . (Feb. 20, 2017 – Translation is not longer available on Zenit and the only Zenit report on the 2007 retreat mentions only the first day’s talk and not the later one on the Antichrist)
In his “Tale of the Antichrist” Solovyov foresees that a small group of Catholics, Orthodox and Protestants will resist and will say to the Antichrist: “You give us everything, except what interests us, Jesus Christ”.   For Cardinal Biffi, this narrative is a warning: “Today, in fact, we run the risk of having a Christianity which puts aside Jesus with his cross and resurrection.”
The 78-year-old cardinal added that if Christians “limited themselves to speaking of shared values they would be more accepted on television programs and in social groups. But in this way, they will have renounced Jesus, the overwhelming reality of the resurrection.”
The cardinal said he believes that this is “the danger that Christians face in our days … the Son of God cannot be reduced to a series of good projects sanctioned by the prevailing worldly mentality.”
The preacher of the Spiritual Exercises added that “there are relative values, such as solidarity, love of peace and respect for nature. If these become absolute, uprooting or even opposing the proclamation of the event of salvation, then these values become an instigation to idolatry and obstacles on the way of salvation.”
Cardinal Biffi affirmed that “if Christianity—on opening itself to the world and dialoguing with all—dilutes the salvific event, it closes itself to a personal relationship with Jesus and places itself on the side of the Antichrist.”
Cardinal Biffi’s reflections, in fact, are very similar to remarks Pope Benedict made last Fall in a meeting with Swiss Bishops.  While Pope Benedict did not speak of the Antichrist, he spoke of a new false or “substitute” religion, calling it also a “successor” of religion.
“Modern society is not simply without morality, but it has, so to speak, ‘discovered’ and professes a part of morality”, the Pope told the Swiss bishops. “These are the great themes of peace, non-violence, justice for all, concern for the poor, and respect for creation.”
However, the Pope warned that these “great moral themes” have “become an ethical complex that, precisely as a political force, has great power and constitutes for many the substitute for religion, or its successor.”
“It is only if human life is respected from conception to death that the ethics of peace is also possible and credible,” concluded the Pope. “It is only then that non-violence can express itself in every direction; only then that we truly welcome creation, and only then that we can arrive at true justice.”

And then, twelve years later, this happened:

Pope Francis proposes adding ‘ecological sin’ against ‘common home’ to catechism

VATICAN CITY, November 15, 2019 (LifeSiteNews) – Pope Francis said today that he is thinking about adding the “‘ecological sin’ against our common home” to the Catechism of the Catholic Church.
“We have to introduce―we are thinking about it―to the Catechism of the Catholic Church the sin against ecology, the ‘ecological sin’ against our common home, because a duty is at stake,” Pope Francis told his hearers. The Argentinian pontiff made the remark in a speech he gave today to the 20th World Congress of the International Association of Penal Law in Rome.

Don’t worry, Antipope Bergoglio is far too crude, far too stupid, and far too, um, *unattractive* to be the Antichrist. But he sure is paving the way, like a good Forerunner should.

  1. Past, Present and Future for the Church as I see it:
The beginning of end was Vatican II which set the stage for the Anti-Pope and after that the Anti-Christ. Quoting Soloviev, the Cardinal said “the Antichrist presents himself as pacifist, ecologist and ecumenist.”
Vatican II sold out Christ’s command to preach orthodox Catholic doctrine and Baptism to the entire world in order to make peace with Protestants and other religions.
Now we have arrived at the end of the beginning with anti-pope Francis creating an ecological/pagan religion as he works to establish a New World Order and prepare for the Anti-Christ.
And sometime in the not too distant future will come the end itself with the arrival of actual Anti-Christ.

  2. You (viz our Pope, true shepherd) have nailed it. This is precisely the field of battle.
In the smoke and confusion of spiritual war, look to Christ – our light and our North Star.

  3. the Antichrist presents himself as:
    pacifist
    (check)
    ecologist (check)
    ecumenist (check)
    renounces resurrection (check)
And throw in faux economist and renouncing divinity of Christ for good measure. But you are right – too unappealing to be the Anti-Christ, but a virtual lock-in for False Prophet Forerunner (apologies to the fine Toyota sport utility vehicle).

  4. I really fear where this is all going. Remember when one of the first things Bergoglio said when he (didn’t) become pope was for us “not to obsess over abortion?” Remember also when just a few short years later, he praised the notorious, unapologetic, Italian abortionist/politician, Emma Bonino, as “one of Italy’s greatest?” I don’t remember the exact quote but he also in public, scolded a woman with multiple children for having those multiple children.
Fast forward to 2019… all of this fascination and reverence of the Pachamama bitch. The ancient Aztecs SACRIFICED CHILDREN to these false demons. So… I’m going to state that I believe Jorge Bergoglio, the antipope and probable false prophet of the antichrist is 100% supportive of abortion and he’s laying the groundwork with all this environmentalist worship, to revert to a state where in the short-term, abortion and artificial contraception will be supported to “save the planet. Then, in the long-term (or maybe not so long-term), executions of those who do not support the freemasonic agenda will be encouraged “for the common good.” And then eventually, back to a pre-Guadelupe civilization where human sacrifices will be the norm.
I know this sounds crazy to some but did anyone just seven years ago expect demon idols to be worshipped inside the Vatican?
Stay confessed and stay close to Our Lady, St. Michael and your guardian angels.

    1. @James: Your string of logic is sound, diabolically sound. Perhaps you would agree with one slight change to your question, “Did anyone just seven years ago expect demon idols to be OPENLY worshipped inside the Vatican?” Isn’t there sufficient evidence to demonstrate that they have been covertly worshipped by some inside the Vatican for years?

  5. James I think you are correct. There is nothing more useful for the career of a slimey slutty priest, than abortion, because it allows you to get rid of the evidence of your own impiety.

  6. The Antichrist, with the little I know about it, will be an attractive character, appealing to pretty much everybody. He may fool many of the elect. It would make sense that he would be a Muslim, who would arise at the time when Muslims have fully infiltrated the West and are causing their usual havoc. An attractive Muslim at that time, who rises up and calms the hordes, offering peace, brotherhood, and all good things, would be attractive to many people, by that time. The catch is you must give up Jesus Christ. This is just to me what seems a possible scenario. I’ve not studied it.

    1. Well, I have heard that according to St. Padre Pio, the Anti-Christ was already in the world when he (Pio) was alive. Having died in September of 1968 (and giving 9 months gestation), that would put the AC born no later than June of 1969 (isn’t that just before the NO came into effect, or was that the year before?). That would put the AC at 50+ years old right now, just about the time most folks hit the high point of their careers. My money is on Joel Osteen (nee 1963), especially since he has fooled the “elect” Kanye West.

      1. David the „Watching”
Cardinal Angelo De Donatis (= Angel the ‘Donator’) offered David Sassoli an almond tree (in a pot) during the first conference from the cycle ‘Together for our common home’, reflection around ‘Laudato si,’ organized at the Lateran Basilica on November 11, 2019. This highly symbolic act prompted me to take a closer look at this event ( http://www.diocesidiroma.it/difendere-il-pianeta-per-difendere-le-sue-creature-il-presidente-delleuroparlamento-sassoli-al-primo-incontro-sulla-laudato-si/ ).
An hour long inaugural lecture, „Difendere il pianeta per difendere le sue creature” (‘Defend the planet to defend its creatures’), was given by Dawid Sassoli, President of the European Parliament, perversely praising the Apostate’s document – his ecumenism, environmentalism (probably also pacifism) – he promised to “regulate” globalization, or world rebellion against Jesus Christ the King. Elena Sofia Ricci, an actress from Florence, performed as a priestess of the word, reading (reciting?) fragments of ‘Laudato si’ and the song of Saint Francis of Assisi.
At the end of the meeting, the Cardinal Vicar of Rome offered the almond tree to the President of the European Parliament. The vicar acts on behalf of his principal, so it is Jorge the Apostate, the high priest of the anti-Catholic Roman clergy, who offered the almond tree to the supreme (theoretically) ruler of the secular anti-Catholic Roman empire (European Union).
David Sassoli (= David the Pebble; it. ‘sassolino’ = ‘pebble’) was born in Florence on May 30, 1956, baptized in the Roman Catholic Church, an amateur of Neapolitan Christmas crib, a favorite of the Italian Episcopate and cultural leftist.
For Florence, Michelangelo carved a monumental (5.17 m high) statue of King David in Carrara marble. He was to top (in a group of Old Testament prophets) one of the buttresses of the then newly built Florence cathedral of Our Lady of the Flower. However, due to the weight of the statue, ca. 6 tons, this idea was abandoned – it was placed on the square in front of the town hall and was unveiled solemnly on September 8, 1504. Therefore, David in addition to the religious function of watching over the new Ark of the Covenant, i.e. the Holy Virgin, was also endowed with a secular function: the ruler of Florence, i.e. the city of the Divine Mother of the Flower, new Jerusalem. Let’s look at the map of the starry sky that September Sunday AD1504: Virgin Mother (Venus Luna) was in the company of Saturn (‘6’), i.e. the David’s star. It was a new moon (in the southern Pacific and Antarctic Ocean an annular eclipse of the sun was observed (rather not by humans), so Luna was in conjunction with the Sun in the head of Virgo (constellation), and Venus went along with Mercury (= Fire). Because the man is the head of the woman, so this artistic happening (from the top shelf) in Florence, in conjunction with the image of the sky, was the announcement of the birth in the royal house of David (Saturn in the ‘Gate of Heaven’, the Crab constellation) of a descendant, who will be the head of the Virgin Mary, i.e. her husband. The city of Florence has a lily in its coat of arms, so we have to speak consistently of the Divine Mother of the Lily, the symbol of the eldest Daughter of the Church. This statement makes it possible to clarify the prophecy: The Fire from David will come from the royal house of France. This Florentine prophecy corresponds to the words of the Savior himself – “I came to cast fire upon earth “: the statue of David did not stand high on the walls of the temple, but landed on the ground near the town hall. This Fire is the second Comforter, the Paraclete promised by the Lord Jesus.
In the scene of the meeting at Lateran of two hierarchs, a clergyman and a layman, a vicar and a chairman, the almond tree represents the descendant of King David, in addition a very special one, namely the Paraclete himself! Why? The answer can be found in the first chapter of the Book of Jeremiah [Jr 1, 5-19]. The following verses refer both to the person of Jeremiah, King David, as well as to each of his descendants called by God to fulfill a special mission in the plan of Salvation of mankind.
[5] „Before I formed thee in the bowels of thy mother, I knew thee: and before thou camest forth out of the womb, I sanctified thee, and made thee a prophet unto the nations.”
Ad5 – God acts deliberately and consistently implements his strategy.
[6] „And I said: Ah, ah, ah, Lord God: behold, I cannot speak, for I am a child. [7] And the Lord said to me: Say not: I am a child: for thou shalt go to all that I shall send thee: and whatsoever I shall command thee, thou shalt speak.”
Ad6 and 7 – Called do not speak in their own name but God …
[8] „Be not afraid at their presence: for I am with thee to deliver thee, saith the Lord.”
        Ad8 – … and enjoys His protection.
[9] „And the Lord put forth his hand, and touched my mouth: and the Lord said to me: Behold I have given my words in thy mouth: [10] Lo, I have set thee this day over the nations, and over the kingdoms, to root up, and pull down, and to waste, and to destroy, and to build, and to plant.”
Ad9 and 10 – Here appears the specific mission of the Paraclete as the Lord of All Nations endowed with supernatural power to renew the face of the earth.
[11] „And the word of the Lord came to me, saying: What seest thou, Jeremias? And I said: I see a rod watching. [12] And the Lord said to me: Thou hast seen well: for I will watch over my word to perform it.”
Ad11 and 12 – The rod (twig) “watching” is just an almond tree, so called in Hebrew, because it blooms at the earliest of all trees, already in January. Figurally: In the winter of the Church, during the period of greatest oppression, David the „Watching” will flourish, God will send the Paraclete as the protector and guide of the rest of God’s Children who will survive the tribulations.
[13] „And the word of the Lord came to me a second time, saying: What seest thou? I see a boiling caldron, and the face thereof from the face of the north. [14] And the Lord said to me: from the north shall an evil break forth upon all the inhabitants of the land. [15] For behold I will call together all the families of the kingdoms of the north: saith the Lord: and they shall come, and shall set every one his throne in the entrance of the gates of Jerusalem, and upon all the walls thereof round about, and upon all the cities of Juda,”
Ad13, 14 and 15 – “The Kingdoms of the North” is the European Union and all countries, including the Vatican of today, recognizing so-called “European values” in essence anti-Catholic, which is a bold rebellion against God and his rights. Vicar of Rome Angelo De Donatis and President of the European Parliament David Sassoli sat on the armchairs (thrones) in the Lateran Basilica – Mother and Head of All Churches in Rome and in the World – that is at the entrance to the gates of mystical Jerusalem.
[16] „And I will pronounce my judgments against them, touching all their wickedness, who have forsaken me, and have sacrificed to strange gods, and have adored the work of their own hands.”
Ad16 – This verse refers to pagan ceremonies in the Vatican Gardens on October 4, as well as the spiritualistic enthronement of Antichrist on the papal altar on the tomb of Saint Peter the Apostle on October 27 of the same year on the feast of our Lord Jesus Christ the King and a mock mass on the bare altar in the Lateran Basilica on November 9, 2019, on the anniversary of its consecration. These three acts were intended to desecrate the Vatican Hill, the tomb of Saint Peter and the Mother and Head of all Churches of the City and the World by exalting the spirit of Antichrist.
[17] „Thou therefore gird up thy loins, and arise, and speak to them all that I command thee. Be not afraid at their presence: for I will make thee not to fear their countenance. [18] For behold I have made thee this day a fortified city, and a pillar of iron, and a wall of brass, over all the land, to the kings of Juda, to the princes thereof, and to the priests, and to the people of the land. [19] And they shall fight against thee, and shall not prevail: for I am with thee, saith the Lord, to deliver thee.”
Ad17 / 18/19 – The Florentine statue of King David is known in the world in numerous copies, including bronze (and perheps iron) ones. The paraclete, a powerful man from the royal house of David, will act against all who have forgotten God and his natural law, in particular against the rulers of post-Christian states and the hierarchy of the anti-church, this work of unfaithful stewards who were to guard the deposit of faith entrusted to the holy apostles, but by surrendering to the power of Jorge the False Prophet, they propagate the blasphemy of the Great Whore, whom they allowed to settle on the Seven Hills on the Tiber. Almighty God will give the Paraclete extraordinary protection.
The almond tree in the happening in the Lateran Basilica stands behind the back of the secular ruler of the European Parliament, in which the mockery of God, his eternal law and religion is on the daily basis. President David Pebble, a Florentine, watches over this slut. Who is he? Is he … Antichrist? Is he the character born on the lawn in the Vatican Gardens during the magical rites of October 4, introduced on the papal altar in St. Peter’s Basilica on October 27, and finally publicly revealed in the most important temple of Christianity, the Lateran Basilica on November 11. Is that him? This is a key issue.
However, just behind the PE’ President appears the green almond tree: David the „Watching”, not of stone, or a pebble, but the living Paraclete. On this day, November 11, 2019, Mercury (the planetary symbol of the Fire) passed almost through the center of the Sun’s disk. What’s more, Virgin Mother (Venus / Luna) was in the exclusive company of this Fire (Mercury). Luna walked through the head of the Sea Monster (constellation Cetus), and Venus resided in Serpentarius (Snake Bearer) – vis a vis Antares, the heart of the great convert. Figuratively: The Second Comforter promised by Jesus, the Paraclete is one of the converted prodigal sons of our Mother Holy Church, appointed to crush the head of an ancient Serpent, who slipped into the Temple of God and desecrated its foundation (the tomb of the Prince of the Apostles) on October 27 and then the whole edifice which is the Church (Basilica of Lateran) on November 9, 2019. The Paraclete will face the Beast coming out of the sea, the Antichrist.
November 11th also includes the commemoration of Saint Mercury, a famous Roman general who masterfully struck the emperor Julian the Apostate with his spear. By freeing Christians from this cruel persecutor at the same time, he led him to conversion and that is why we should rather talk about Emperor Julian the Penitent. The fate of the Beast-Antichrist, this baptized Roman Catholic, will be different [Rev 19, 20]:
„And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet, who wrought signs before him, wherewith he seduced them who received the character of the beast, and who adored his image. These two were cast alive into the pool of fire, burning with brimstone.”

  7. Antipope Francis hits all the marks of FPF of the AntiChrist. Clearly not an attractive person at all, so no worries he’s the latter. Agreed, talk is he’s in the world now. And of course the real Sr. Lucia in her last interview in 1957 (St Stephen’s day, to Fr. Augustin Fuentes, good Mexican priest and postulator for the causes of Saints Jacinta and Francisco, available here: https://traditioninaction.org/HotTopics/g23ht_Interview.html) stated she read the Virgin Mary to clearly imply that these were end times in virtue of Her description of the Rosary and devotion to Her Immaculate Heart as final remedies. As to which, Sr. Lucia wryly remarks, this implies that there will be no other remedies. She too who prophesied the final triumph of the Immaculate Heart also said as follows, from which we may take heart:
“I repeat, there is no problem, as difficult as it may be, that we cannot resolve at this time by praying the Holy Rosary. With the Holy Rosary we will save ourselves, sanctify ourselves, console Our Lord and obtain the salvation of many souls.”

  8. chilling…..literally chilling.
and ironic (no?) that +Sheen is about to be beatified by the false prophet of the ‘ape church’ he prophesied about….satan definitely has a diabolical sense of ‘humor’.

    1. I believe Benedict intentionally left “holes” in his forced resignation in order make sure that Bergoglio would we seen as a false Pope at least by some. Unfortunately most Traditional and Conservative blogs don’t get this, insisting that Francis is a true Pope. I was banned Monday on Crisis for merely saying that the legitimacy of Francis is an open issue. One Peter 5, The Remnant, etc have the same position. This is a fairly recent phenomenon. These blog have caved to Vatican pressure evidently—money pressure I would assume. The Overton Window has been slammed shut.

      1. Good for you Michael….wear it as a badge. Open eyes where you can and shake the dust off where you must. You’ve been speaking very boldly of late….well done.

        1. susan commented in response to Michael Dowd:
Thanks Susan. The Catholic Thing blog still accepts my comments on FB. I suggest everyone here read and comment on this blog which allows truthful comments about the Church and the “pope”—at least just yet.

      2. @ Michael Dowd, I remember a recent thread here, you defending your cautious, respectful framing of the issues so as to be sensitive to those of a different view in order to continue engagement with them. I totally get that.
And, it turns out, it doesn’t even matter. Nice guy like you – they still shut you down just for cautiously raising your pinky for a tiny little question.
This is an existential question of which all must answer, without exception, as if our souls depend on it. Everyone knows it. Their response to you and your polite, respectful questions proves they know it too: deep in their soul they know something is deeply wrong and they can’t admit their disconnect and error on the most important question, perhaps, in the history of Holy Mother Church.
Kudos to you for trying. Don’t give up.

“@ Michael Dowd, I remember a recent thread here, you defending your cautious, respectful framing of the issues so as to be sensitive to those of a different view in order to continue engagement with them. I totally get that.”
Thanks Aqua. My caution came mainly after I was warned about negative comments about the “Pope”. So I tried to use milder terms to describe him. Didn’t work. No form of criticism is tolerated. So if the truth about Francis is sought one must go here, Voris, Mundabor, Forge and Anvil, etc.
My overall take on the present situation is that it will only resolved by a chastisement from God. The situation is now beyond self correction as most of the hierarchy, clergy and laity see Vatican II and Pope Francis as generally positive when in fact they are catastrophes orchestrated by the devil.

      3. I wouldn’t bother with One Peter Five anymore. It’s a total for-profit blog with irritating “donate now” boxes popping up immediately upon visit. That tells you all you need to know.

      4. Mundabor actually broaches no talk of antipope or invalidity either.
I was shut down there long ago. Been back periodically and attempted *respectful* discussion – it is his blog after all; I do respect the privilege of those who do this work, but he’s got me on embargo there. Fine, but my opinion of Mundabor is thereby colored.
My main problem with Mundabor, as with all the others is that if you insist Bergoglio is Holy Father, *then*, you cant really call him a horse’s ass or evil clown. If he is an evil clown and a horse’s ass, then you might consider your base premise, because those terms absolutely apply to an antipope inspired by the devil (it *has* to be one or the other), not to God’s chosen Vicar, Cornerstone of our Church. Correction yes – up to and including removal from Office. Insults and calumny of our rightful Pope, no.
All of these so-called Trads who despise the “Holy Father” and all of his evil deeds are actually doing more harm to the Papacy than those who merely go along and are neutral. These “Trads” connect all that is good to all that is evil and say such a thing is possible. They normalize insults, the most despicable and vile insults to our Pope, successor of St. Peter. It is now a “thing” to pray for our “Pope’s” death. Hate of our Pope is normal, accepted among orthodox Catholics.
That is where this type of thinking and false premise leads. Hate for our “Pope”. That is so wrong. And the walls are high among our “Unite The Clans Catholics” that prevent even discussing this fundamental base error and re-forming in unity around our true, rightful Pope.

        1. Aqua says: November 21, 2019 at 10:16 am
On Mundabor where I comment every day. I did not know he was an exclusive FiP guy. If that is the case insulting the Pope is insulting the Office of Pope. Not a good thing for a good Catholic.
My position for a long term has been that the whole business of who is Pope is uncertain. Lately I’m leaning to BiP which makes lots of sense in lots of ways.

      5. Aqua: To your point about Mundabor’s site, Charlie Johnston’s blog, A Sign of Hope, where Mr. Docherty recently discovered the owner’s ‘sleight of hand’, is beginning to suffer from their unrecognized hypocrisy of censorship. Links to Tradition in Action (totally FiP) and akaCatholic (practical if not out-and-out Sede), have been censored while the question brought up by what was noted at these sites is allowed. I suspect that the good-heartedness of the moderator is going to implode soon.

      6. @Michael Dowd, I don’t think he minds “uncertainty”, as long as you don’t push it too hard. He’ll let you comment all you wish if you have negative things to say about the Pope or profess uncertainty as a sub context. You respectfully assert your ideas *according to his rules of discussion*.
Assert a base premise different from Mundabor’s base premise and you will see a change immediately.
In my case: The clear text in Latin original, upon which the Papal resignation *occurs or does not*, is fatally faulty. He remains because he did not formally or informally resign the Office. He remains in word, and in deed, legal, actual Pope.
Mundabor will not answer any of my obvious questions I listed out here on Non Veni Pacem (previous topic) – summarized as “please defend the proposition that this man is a valid Pope and the Papal Office itself has not been tampered with”. A belch of an insult and a ban.

“@Michael Dowd, I don’t think he minds “uncertainty”, as long as you don’t push it too hard”
For me the enemy of my enemy is my friend. At this stage of the game we can’t be too fussy about our allies.

      7. a horse’s ass or evil clown
We’ve had horse’s asses and evil clowns in the chair of Peter before, but the difference was they were HAs and ECs about secular things, (e.g., had mistresses and whatnot), but did not spout heresy. Personally sinful, but theologically orthodox.

      8. Aqua; your post at 10:16 is beyond insightful and spot-on. In a few words you’ve presented the ”francis’ is pope crowd’ their catch-22. There is NO way to square that very round diabolical circle. If ‘francis’ were indeed Peter, then pack it up gang…the whole Catholic thing is BS; it crumbles with no foundation, because the promises of Christ of divine negative protections for Peter…Christ’s foundation stone upon which the whole ediface will be built….would be shown to be smoke and mist. Peter canNOT worship false idols and call it kosher; Peter canNOT teach that the soul-not-saved is annihilated, and then call it (and his 1,000 other taught heresies) Magisterium, cause guess what?, if he’s really Peter, then what he claims is magisterial, is…he’s proclaimed it as official teaching; that’s one step down from ex-cathedra; Peter canNOT teach in an AE that people in an objective, manifest, continuing state of adultery are just hunkey-dorey to receive the Holy Euchartist if they’re totes OK with it in their own opinion (true conscience has nothing to do with anything anymore in the church of bergoglio…there’s no formation of conscience other than to eco-humanist-modernism).
Peter can be a moral reprobate; Peter can commit mortal sins; but Pete canNOT be the arsonist burning down the Deposit of Faith. He canNOT. And those who follow bergoglio as pope are walking head-first into the flames of a false religion. This is really not a difficult thing to see and to accept….it just takes an act of the will to follow the Truth, no matter how painful it is. The monster’s been unmasked…multiple, multiple times, and yet the FiPers keep moving the red-line further and further down the flaming road; (“well, if he ever commits human-sacrifice on the altar, well THEN, we’ll have a problem!”)
So the question ya gotta ask yourself, punk, (sorry…channeling a li’l Clint Eastwood there :), is “is Christ Who He said He was, or isn’t He?…did He leave a recognizable Church or didn’t He?”; and if He is, and if He did, then bergoglio’s carnage of spiritual ‘ultra violence’ shows him to be the demonic fraud that he is….he’s not teaching what the Apostles taught and handed down for 2,000 yrs….his ediface is not Apostolic (it’s humanist and free-masonic); it’s no longer One (he has divided as his father has since the beginning, introducing strange and ‘new’ doctrines, antithetical to the ‘old’ ones); it’s not Holy (sodomy for everyone!…check-in with my door man Coco); and it sure ain’t Catholic….in ANY sense of the word.
The world is the flaming bag of horse-Schiff that it is today BECAUSE the Church is in such dire straights, and we have exactly ZERO shepherds willing to speak the clear, obvious Truth (except the good +Gracida; but even he gets the base premise wrong :(. The Vatican (and indeed St. Peter’s itself) has been turned into a ‘gay’ bathhouse, and the throne of Peter has a demonic spawn squatting on it, orchestrating hell’s circus. There is nothing…NOTHING….of more import in the entire world than getting this right, and (Please God!) fixing it. Say it loud, say it often, say it with confidence and evidence committed to memory…..bergoglio is NOT the pope.

Right on sister! You made my day. Now, please come out and say these words on The Catholic Thing at the first opportunity. They have accepted my prior comments about PF’s possible illegitimacy but I haven’t come out and boldly called him anti-pope Bergoglio as Ann B. has instructed. Robert Royal the Editor is no doubt still in the FiP mode. I will give it a try myself. It will be interesting to see what happens. At a minimum there will be plenty of flack from the readers. At worst I will be banned. So be it.

      9. @susan: What is your opinion of encouraging the little one to lisp their Holy Father’s name at the Canon of the Mass–which ever form–EF or OF? Can you see the bulletin announcements? “Everyone whispering ‘Benedict’ during the Eucharistic prayer needs to stop it. Now! And we mean it! All Benedict Whisperers will be excommunicated. And furthermore, ‘Off with their heads!'”

Silly idea. This sort of thing undermines the little credibility we have now. No need to make our position look more like insanity than necessary.

          1. I value your opinion, thank you, Mr. Dowd. What is your opinion of females donning chapel veils for the Novus Ordo or the laity at the Novus Ordo kneeling in prayer while others participate in the ‘Sign of Peace’ or immediately after the Pater Noster folding one’s hands in prayer and not participating in the addendum–“For Thine is the glory, etc…” Are these also silly actions that reduce and undermine one’s credibility?

There actions would probably be construed as silly, anti-social, anti-Vatican II, etc. I go to N.O. Daily Mass and I do as the Romans do as they say. The only outsider action I do is take Communion on the tongue and do not take it from the cup.

          3. Ah, so it’s a good and very good thing that we are called to “Not judge [construe?] by appearances but to judge righteous judgement.” With the warrior of tradition that you are and have been, Mr. Dowd, I will pray for your ability to ‘channel your inner Maccabees’ to continue to grow.
I thank you for your “outsider” non-‘When in Rome’ actions. I would think those actions may even bring revelatory grace to others who may be watching you–not necessarily judging you but simply watching.

            Thanks I is I.
Every day there are 4 or 5 people at Mass doing very strange things some of them even alarmingly pious. I do not wish to be among this “outsider” group. For a time I was a Dominican Novices and we were told that trying to be singular was a bad thing. Good advice for al of us.

          5. It’s good to “not judge by appearances and to judge righteous judgement”. Have you actually asked those alarmingly pious looking people their motivations or do you just know that they are trying to be singular?

No. I plan no investigations about “alarming piety” at the present time. Mine was merely a passing observation only intended to bring a smile. Evidently doing this is considered (by some) a moral offense. It was not my intention (I is I).

      10. @ islam….
I’ve been whispering Benedict’s name for 2 years now…after the demon-worship I’ve begun audibly–softly, but clearly–saying it out loud. I think it would be utterly GLORIOUS if more people each week began doing that. How wonderful to hear the rumbling murmur from the whole church, in unison, “Benedict” where it should be. Let the lispers rant and rave; just like satan in the pit in “The Passion of the Christ” when he realizes he’s been impaled by the Cross and beaten forever. It’s not a matter of caring what someone else might think; it’s a matter of physically not being able to keep it inside of me…..I literally can’t.
As to the discussion about about doing things that others aren’t, maybe don’t be too quick to say no, if it’s a good and honorable thing to do….if it’s a witness to Truth About 13 years ago, there was a lovely young woman in our parish who would kneel for Communion…the only one, and certainly the only one I’d EVER seen doing that. I’d always received on the tongue, but the kneeling, well, that was something….different and a bit….mysterious. A deeper relationship…a deeper intimacy. I remember thinking, “that is so stunningly beautiful”. There was nothing showboaty about her; in fact she always seemed to blush a bit and kept her eyes down the whole way back her pew, as though this gesture of fealty and worship was a bit of humble penance. Every time she went to Holy Communion I was struck by the sheer beauty of the action and the humble soul, and I craved more and more that relationship with Him that she seemed to have. It took me 3 years to ‘skewer up the courage’ (I was a bit of a wienie back then) to follow in her beautiful example, but I knew that if I was gonna do this it was for as long as He allowed my knees to bend. I’ve never looked back, and the unspeakable grace it’s brought to my perception of reception is indescribable. Let the Gladys Krazitzes and the Father Jazzhands plotz and tsk all they want…it’s not for them. Before too terribly long a few others were doing it, then a few more, then a few more.
I began veiling about 7 years ago, and slowly over the course of those years, more and more veiled heads have been popping up all over the nave…some of them asked about it, and I was so excited to tell them about Ruth pulling Boaz’s mantle over her head as a way of saying “I’m yours…I give myself to you body and soul…you are my master and my captain and the focus of my life”; to tell them about the words of St. John Chrysostom on veiling; to tell them of the veiled tabernacle and sacred things always being veiled; to tell them of the tradition of following the model of the perfect woman….now it’s a bit of a groundswell. The difference it’s made in my sense of worship, and my place before God, astounded me, and again, I’ve never looked back nor cared a whit about what the kibitzers think. It’s not about them.
As to the ‘kiss of peace’….certainly give it, but not like at a hoe-down….a brief head nod and “peace” whispered, and as soon as the Sacred Body is fractured and the Agnus Dei begins, stop(!), and eyes front on the Sacrifice. It’s a horrible placement, but it is-what-it-is in the NO (which is my main Mass…highly reverently offered, but yes, a wounded form of the Rite). The souls beside us are family….many of them utterly lost with no catechesis or like the people of Ninevah, who didn’t “know their right from their left”. Sometimes the things we do out-of-the-ordinary are windows into the transcendent, and movements of grace for them. They were for me. Anyway, my 2 cents worth…which is a shameful overcharge.

      11. @Mr Dowd: While I took no moral offense I will also admit that I did not understand the humor in your passing observation. Thank you for explaining; I am smiling now.

    2. @ Susan:
They have some serious explaining to do. It is not going to get easier in time. The burden of proof is on them to explain the two Popes and the new Emeritus title and the avalanche of sin emanating from the center out.
Reading M. Matt’s Open Letter to the Pope, you can sense the disconnect leading to some future crisis.

      1. Things are moving at a very fast pace…perhaps the enemy is aware that his time is very short.
        motus in fine velocior…..
“For false christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect….and unless those days were shortened, no flesh would be saved; but for the elect’s sake those days will be shortened.”

  9. No beatification of Antipope Francis holds water.
John XXIII proves the point–his chief claim to fame was his willful failure to obey a direct command of the Queen of Heaven: Reveal the Third Secret in 1960. Let’s not even open that sack of weasels called the Second Vatican Council.
Henry Cardinal Newman, too. A fake miracle duped John Paul II–google ‘Deacon’ Jack Sullivan; and of course even less of a problem his un-Catholic philosophy and theology, with a profound and mystifying hatred of a great pope, Pope Pius IX, the beloved Pio Nono, and papal infallibility–both of which Newman wished dead. Nice guy, that great poet.
A crypto-Anglican, a proto-Teilhardian, and at the end of the day, a modernist through and through. See Rosary to the Interior (.com), current page, for James Larson’s dispatch of the phony (and creepy) Newman.

    1. and let’s not even get started on Paul “I named myself after my boyfriend” VI….that one still makes me nauseous.

      1. Agreed—until Francis canonizes hisself, you couldn’t get a better non saint than that one.
Francis’s beatification of Paul vi is a tell: homage to the Homosexual Network Strangling the Church, Francis’s party, that forced Benedict to resign; placed Francis on the throne; and continues its fevered plans to destroy Holy Mother Church.
The key question I ask of all prelates and other clerical sorts these days is singleminded: Are you now or have you ever been a member of the Homosexual Network Strangling the Church.
If the answer is yes, they ain’t Catholic.

    2. I suspect that the impending forced beatification of Paul VI was the straw that broke the camel’s back wherein PPBXVI could not allow his God-given munus to be abused toward this specific action which gave the appearance of “binding in Heaven what is bound on Earth”: neither Paul VI and by extension VII Council. Father Luigi Villa, not his successor to PadrePioandCheisaViva, sent this letter to the Cardinals in 2012.

        1. Aqua, he passed on not long after sending his Letter to the cardinals to ALL the cardinals in the world. His work is significant in my opinion, but I have doubts that his successor, as sincere as he might be, is as blessed as Fr. Villa was from erring. Just a caution for those who might venture into what this publication has promoted since Fr’s death.

Good for you Susan. If you are inspired to do what you do, do it. A number of folks kneel for Communion in my parish. Nothing strange about this. But not for me because of reasons of age. As far as murmuring Benedict’s name goes I have heard Ann B. talk about doing this but never experienced it. If folks heard you they would surely raise their eyebrows. If I were to do this it would be under my breath.
Good Bless you and keep up your good work. And please consider commenting on The Catholic Thing. Please read and check the many comments on this article about fixing the NO Mass.
