Deep in the heart of ramadan, Issue 9 of Rumiya (Rome) magazine from ISIS

Yes, the name of the new ISIS magazine is simply “Rome”. I wonder what that could be referring to? This magazine replaced the old one, Dabiq, which I wrote about last year HERE.
In that first post, I quoted directly from the English version of the magazine to show the clarity of thought, crisp diction and brutal truth as articulated by a devout jihadist who was obviously very well educated in the West:

Many Westerners, however, are already aware that claiming the attacks of (ISIS) to be senseless… is nothing more than a political act and a propaganda tool. The politicians will say it regardless of how much it stands in opposition to facts and common sense just to garner as many votes as they can for the next election cycle. The analysts and journalists will say it in order to keep themselves from becoming a target for saying something that the masses deem to be “politically incorrect”… The point is, people know that it’s foolish, but they keep repeating it regardless because they’re afraid of the consequences of deviating from the script. There are exceptions…people who will unabashedly declare that jihad and the laws of the Shari’ah – as well as everything else deemed taboo by the Islam-is-a-peaceful-religion crowd – are in fact completely Islamic, but they tend to be people with far less credibility who are painted as a social fringe, so their voices are dismissed and a large segment of the ignorant masses continues believing the false narrative.

Reminds me a lot of this:
And this:

Antoine Marie Izoarde, i.Media: Holy Father…The question is a little difficult: Catholics are a bit in shock, and not only in France, after the barbarous assassination of Fr. Jacques Hamel — as you know well — in his church while celebrating the Holy Mass. Four days ago, you here told us that all religions want peace. But this holy, 86-year-old priest was clearly killed in the name of Islam. So, Holy Father, I have two brief questions: why do you, when you speak of these violent events, always speak of terrorists, but never of Islam, never use the word Islam? And then, aside from prayer and dialogue, which are obviously essential, what concrete initiatives can you advise or suggest in order to counteract Islamic violence? Thank you, Holiness.
Pope Francis: I don’t like to speak of Islamic violence, because every day, when I browse the newspapers, I see violence, here in Italy … this one who has murdered his girlfriend, another who has murdered the mother-in-law … and these are baptized Catholics! There are violent Catholics! If I speak of Islamic violence, I must speak of Catholic violence … and no, not all Muslims are violent, not all Catholics are violent. It is like a fruit salad; there’s everything. There are violent persons of this religion … this is true: I believe that in pretty much every religion there is always a small group of fundamentalists. Fundamentalists. We have them. When fundamentalism comes to kill, it can kill with the language — the Apostle James says this, not me — and even with a knife, no? I do not believe it is right to identify Islam with violence. This is not right or true…

Anyway, here we are in the middle of bombathon ramadan and I see the newest issue of Rumiya (Rome) is out. Of course you should go read the whole thing, if for no other reason than to see how professional and glossy it is HERE, but you won’t, so here are a couple highlights from the section on military operations and suggested jihad tactics, subsection “Hostage Taking” (pg 47):

The objective of hostage-taking in the lands of disbelief
– and specifically in relation to just terror operations
– is not to hold large numbers of the kuffar
hostage in order to negotiate one’s demands. Rather,
the objective is to create as much carnage and terror
as one possibly can until Allah decrees his appointed
time and the enemies of Allah storm his location or
succeed in killing him. This is because the hostile kafir
only understands one language and that is the language
of force, the language of killing, stabbing and
slitting throats, chopping off heads, flattening them
under trucks, and burning them alive, ‘until they give
the jizyah while they are in a state of humiliation’
(At-Tawbah 29).

They are really good at footnoting, so go ahead and look up “At-Tawbah 29” oh never mind just click HERE.

This sunnah of inflicting a slaughter upon the kuffar
was ordered by Allah  when He said, “So when
you meet those who disbelieve, strike [their] necks until,
when you have inflicted slaughter upon them, then
secure their bonds, and either [confer] favor afterwards
or ransom [them] until the war lays down its burdens”
(Muhammad 4), and likewise in His c statement, “It
is not for a prophet to have captives until he inflicts
a massacre in the land. You (i.e. the Muslims) desire
the commodities of this world, but Allah desires [for
you] the Hereafter. And Allah is Exalted in Might and
Wise” (Al-Anfal 67).

Then come various operational scenarios for the budding jihadist to ponder, with tips on how to carry them out. I won’t list those here, but I’m sure we will see a few of them carried out in the near future.
Then some closing thoughts:

It is also essential for one to know that the aim is to
kill as many kuffar as one possibly can, and as quickly
as one can before the initial police response. After killing
those present one should keep a few of his victims
alive as hostages to be used as human shields against
the anticipated response of the kafir armed forces

Using deception as a tactic of warfare in order
to lure one’s target or trick them into believing
that they are safe before killing them or inconspicuously
assassinating them is divinely approved, as the
Sunnah clearly demonstrates. It is likewise one of the
most appropriate methods to apply for the one seeking
to slaughter large numbers of the kuffar while armed
with something as simple and easily attainable as a

In order to ensure the success of the operation there
are a few important points to remember and some prior
measures to be taken:
• The remembrance of Allah, and constantly reminding
oneself that this action is worship, and that
Allah has obliged us to “kill the mushrikin” wherever
we find them, and to “fight the disbelievers who are
closest” to us.

Never forget that.  They are so totally brainwashed into this satanic cult that it is a supreme act of worship for them to murder as many innocents as possible. Do you really think there can be any sort of dialogue, accompaniment, encounter, blah blah blah with this ideology?  But hey! Francis says they worship the same ‘god’ as we do.

  1. How a real pope would have answered And then, aside from prayer and dialogue, which are obviously essential, what concrete initiatives can you advise or suggest in order to counteract Islamic violence? Thank you, Holiness.:
