The bill to “release all the files” was pure theater, too. As if anyone was going to sit still for making videos of underaged girls being raped (and worse) available to the public.

The bill didn’t actually specify “files”. The language called for the release of all unclassified Epstein-related DOJ and FBI materials, which would certainly include the videos.
I would have abstained from voting and called it out for the fraud it was. But that’s because I, nor anyone I answer to in this life, has ever been to Little St. James Island.
Why would you have abstained from voting? Don’t you want the truth out? Or is politics really that important to you?
If you care about the truth you vote yes. At the very least you’re calling their bluff and you stick to your morals.

Just for the record, I stated no position here on whether Flynn is “good”. And I made no attempt to find anyone “good” in Washington.
Depicting Flynn as “faithful” to Obama – That’s a stretch. I’m aware that Flynn was appointed at DIA under Obama. But then Flynn came into conflict with Obama. And I doubt that Trump would want to pardon Flynn, if Flynn were indeed an Obama guy. And I doubt that an Obama guy would so strongly urge Trump to expose Epstein clients, which surely include Clinton & many Obama guys along with Prince Andrew & GOP guys.
As to Flynn foolishly talking to FBI people without a lawyer: It happens all the time, in Washington. They acted friendly and Flynn simply did not understand they wanted to trap him. Flynn might be a dummy; I’d agree, at the very least, that Flynn is no genius. But an Obama guy? Oh please.
Not sure how the director of the best Intel agency in the government, the DIA, didn’t know about Comey and the gang, but OK. The “We are friends” ploy is the oldest cop ploy in the book.
Obama never fired Flynn. And gee, if I was trying to get my guy in the Trump administration I can’t think of anything better than to “warn” Trump about Flynn which caused this colossal moron to think “Obama hates him so he’s MAGA” and the rest is history.
All I need to know about Flynn is that for years he pushed the “Q” nonsense which literally was a psyop to get folks to accept Trump’s misdeeds as “trusting the process”.
The real test will be if they are still talking about it in a week or if it’s just another one of Trump’s grand distractions as he does something else to further his police state/war machine. Those that you mentioned as MAGA true believers, I tend to believe only say what they are told to say, at least most of the time.

His CIA director is a puppet of Mossad and his defense secretary believes we should start WW3 for Israel so Jesus comes back.
Oh and most people didn’t notice that he had the Republican party remove its pro life stance from its platform and his awful wife came out as pro choice.
And he’s done most of this in one year and 5 months.

The bill to “release all the files” was pure theater, too. As if anyone was going to sit still for making videos of underaged girls being raped (and worse) available to the public.
The bill was written in a way to ensure it would be DOA.
Files are files, not videos. Bondi said she had the file on her desk . We should see it, especially if there is “nothing” there.
Let’s say it was theater. It probably was. It was good theater, because it showed in stark relief, once again, that the “good” party, the “pro life” party , the party that has been saying, in unison, that the files should be released, is evil. They don’t really care about any of that stuff.
The bill exposed the hypocrisy and moral bankruptcy of the Republicans. I would have voted for the release. Not one Republican did.
The bill didn’t actually specify “files”. The language called for the release of all unclassified Epstein-related DOJ and FBI materials, which would certainly include the videos.
I would have abstained from voting and called it out for the fraud it was. But that’s because I, nor anyone I answer to in this life, has ever been to Little St. James Island.
Why would you have abstained from voting? Don’t you want the truth out? Or is politics really that important to you?
If you care about the truth you vote yes. At the very least you’re calling their bluff and you stick to your morals.
It should be simple. If there is nothing there, release it. If there is something there, also release it. Especially after being elected to do so.
I said why, in two posts. Because the bill was a fraud and a bullshit political stunt. And because I’m not voting to have videos of children being violated by oligarchs released to the public.

Trump is preparing to give amnesty, like Reagan. His immigration enforcement is mere theater. He does something (‘I solved the immigration crisis, promises made promises kept!) then does what he really wants (amnesty) and then says the issue is over.
Any president who hated illegal immigration would’ve simply said he would enforce the law, not brag about what his moves. It was all for public consumption.
By the way if you’re a service economy, dependent on other countries for durable goods and you tariff those countries that make your stuff you have no leverage. For we still need things to buy, so we will buy them and pay the tariffs as consumers. Which makes us poorer.
And since some of these countries buy US debt they can simply retaliate to tariffs by selling that debt and refusing to buy any more bonds.
