He confirmed me in Dickinson, Texas, at Queen of Angels Catholic Church, in the late Summer of 1995, if memory serves, compete with vigorous slap on the face that was one of his trademarks. All under the gaze of our then pastor, Fr. Daniel Cooper, also a great priest and a great man, now too soon gone due to bone cancer. Blessed repose and eternal memory. Christ is risen.
