WASHINGTON (AP) — The United States will send a Terminal High Altitude Area Defense battery to Israel, along with the troops needed to operate it, the Pentagon said Sunday, even as Iran warned Washington to keep American military forces out of Israel.
Maj. Gen. Pat Ryder, Pentagon spokesman, said in a statement that Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin authorized the deployment of the THAAD battery at the direction of President Joe Biden. He said the system will help bolster Israel’s air defenses following Iran’s ballistic missile attacks on Israel in April and October.
The delivery of the sophisticated missile defense system risks further inflaming the conflict in the Middle East despite widespread diplomatic efforts to avoid an all-out war. The Iranian warning came in a post on the social platform X long associated with Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, who noted the earlier reports that the U.S. was considering the deployment.
Israel is widely believed to be preparing a military response to Iran’s Oct. 1 attack when it fired roughly 180 missiles into Israel.
In a brief exchange with reporters before leaving Florida on Sunday, Biden said he agreed to deploy the THAAD battery “to defend Israel.” Biden spoke at MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa after making a quick visit to to see the damage caused by Hurricane Milton..

SAME! It’s tiring. I’ve been preparing physically, mentally and especially spiritually since 2020. Every year I’m surprised, yet thankful, for extra time with my family.
Though I know it won’t last forever. At some point the doomsday predictions will be correct and the chaos in full force.
I guess my point is that I am grateful to God for this gift of life here on earth, but when it’s over I accept His plan.
Some of the things Jesus said an about what I think is the Warning (sign of the Son of Man in thy sky) is that we must continue to be vigilant and not like the wicked servant who slacks off because the master is delayed. We know the general timing, but not the exact time. And I think Satan is also trying to make us so with constant rumors.
For 30 years I’ve heard “they’re going to cancel the election”. Never happened. Not going to happen. Why cancel the kayfabe when they control the outcome anyway? They need the election ruse to keep the peons placated. Bread and circuses. I’m of the mind that everything we see is a ruse. Including the Middle East. Sure, the death and destruction is real. But are they really enemies, or are they playing a game ? Lots of people at the top making tons of money on it all. And power. Don’t forget power, the most desired drug on the planet.
The election ruse will end when:
1) the cabal cannot control the narrative.
2) the election ruse is so obviously a ruse (meaning it lacks the characteristics of legitimacy apparent to normies).
In both situations, elections would only delegitimize whatever comes next. That’s what makes “elections” work: people think the process is legit and thus what follows is likewise legitimate.take away that assurance, and elections become dangerous.

“US sending air defense battery and American troops to Israel” – Needless to say, no one voted for it. Congress didn’t. Yet another example of how the U.S. is ruled by a cabal who do what they feel like (or are blackmailed to do).
As to the politics of it: It gets pro-Muslim democrats to be that much more pissed off, at Biden-Harris. Then again, Bibi meets with Trump in the background – did he just bless this illegal crap? Then again, Trump turned down new wars (that they tried to pitch him) when he was in office, & somebody keeps trying to kill him – 3rd attempt reported this past weekend.
All we can do is, guess & pray.
