Phoenix breaks record for highest overnight low temperature of 97 degrees on Tuesday
PHOENIX (3TV/CBS 5) — Our streak of record heat shows no sign of letting up. Today will be our 20th day in a row of high temperatures of at least 110 degrees. Five out of the last six days have broken high-temperature records, which looks likely again today with a forecast high of 118 degrees. Our morning low of 97 degrees is the warmest low ever recorded on any date in Phoenix.
You still have that Delco accent so you’re always welcome to come back home 🙂
I’ve been away for 30 years, but I can’t shake it!
Been here for ten years. Been working outside in it for the last three. Feels like July in Phoenix.
I’m definitely ready for October.
I suggest everyone get a good old-fashioned mercury thermometer because the weather reports are very untrustworthy. I live in a very hot place too, and when my mercury thermometer says 95 degrees, my weather app says it’s 105! Global warming, you know.
