No, the rail strike has not been “averted”

The rank and file haven’t even seen the contract, because the contract doesn’t exist. Only ideas exist, ideas of an administration badly needing a win before the midterms. The unions know they have never had leverage like they do in this moment, with the general population acutely aware of the reality of “supply chain issues.” When I say unions, I mean all 12 of them, and if any one of them doesn’t ratify, the whole thing falls apart. This coming Thursday starts the vote. It will drag well into October, each day closer to the midterms. Stock up now.

The Criminal Censorship of Ivermectin’s Efficacy By The High-Impact Medical Journals – Part 1

High-Impact medical journal editorial staff were getting orders to censor ivermectin studies from Big Pharma and “philanthropaths” like Bill Gates.

By Pierre Kory, MD, MPA

Dr. Marcia Angell, a former long-time editor in Chief of the New England Journal of Medicine (NEJM) resigned in June of 2000 after twenty years in the post. She resigned because of what she described as the rising and indefensible influence being exerted by Pharma at the prestigious journal and its powerful affiliate societies. So she wrote a book about it instead. Some really important quotes of hers from “The Truth About Drug Companies: How They Deceive Us and What to Do About It” are:

“Now primarily a marketing machine to sell drugs of dubious benefit, big Pharma uses its wealth and power to co-opt every institution that might stand in its way, including the US Congress, the FDA, academic medical centers and the medical profession itself.”

The above is exactly why I call our country the United States of Pharma. Notice she mentions the FDA (although the NIH’s complicity is implied by the rest of the sentence). I have been saying since early in the pandemic that the United States Federal Health Agencies are (and have long been) in a state of “total regulatory capture.” Definition of regulatory capture from Wikipedia:

Regulatory capture is a form of corruption of authority that occurs when a policymaker or regulator is co-opted to serve the commercial interests of an industry.

Here are two more quotes from Dr. Angell:

“It is simply no longer possible to believe much of the clinical research that is published, or to rely on the judgment of trusted physicians or authoritative medical guidelines. I take no pleasure in this conclusion, which I reached slowly and reluctantly over my two decades as an editor of the New England Journal of Medicine.”

This one is nuts:

“In 2003, the profits of the top 10 big Pharma exceeded that of the cumulative profits of the other 490 Fortune 500 Companies.”

Whoa.

Dr. Relman, another former editor-in-chief of the NEJM said this, also 20 years ago:

“The medical profession is being bought by the pharmaceutical industry, not only in terms of the practice of medicine, but also in terms of teaching and research. The academic institutions of this country are allowing themselves to be the paid agents of the pharmaceutical industry. I think it’s disgraceful.”

Richard Horton, editor in chief of The Lancet said this in 2015:

“The case against science is straightforward: much of the scientific literature, perhaps half, may simply be untrue.”

As Dr. Aseem Malhotra (one of the most prominent physician COVID truth tellers that has remained employed) recently tweeted a quote from an interview he did:

“We have a wealth of evidence of the fraud that’s been committed by the pharmaceutical industry over the years’ ‘the real scandal is that doctors & medical journals collude with industry for financial gain & the regulator fails to prevent misconduct by industry.”

I want to clarify the point above about “not being able to trust half the science in medical journals.”I want to be clear that he is referring, in my mind, largely if not solely to what I call the “high-impact medical journals” and not all science journals. You should know that each journal is ranked by what is called an “impact factor” defined by Wikipedia as:

scientometric index calculated by Clarivate that reflects the yearly mean number of citations of articles published in the last two years in a given journal. As a journal-level metric, it is frequently used as a proxy for the relative importance of a journal within its field; journals with higher impact factor values are given the status of being more important, or carry more prestige in their respective fields, than those with lower values. While frequently used by universities and funding bodies to decide on promotion and research proposals, it has come under attack for distorting good scientific practices

Lets look at the top 5 in the world today:

  1. New England journal of medicine
  2. JAMA : the journal of the American Medical Association
  3. BMJ. British medical journal
  4. Nature reviews disease primers
  5. Annals of internal medicine
  6. JAMA internal Medicine

With the exception of the Annals of Internal Medicine, all the journals on the above list will feature heavily in this and my next post detailing their criminal collusion throughout the pandemic. One journal not on the list above but that should be included is the Cochrane Library. Not because of their impact factor but because they are considered the premier journal publishing the highest form of medical evidence called a “systematic review and meta-analysis of clinical trials (SRMA).” I will argue below that, beyond the corruption of the ivermectin evidence by the WHO detailed in my two previous posts here and here, it the Cochrane library’s rejection of Andy Bryant and Tess Lawrie’s SRMA followed by their publication of a fraudulent SRMA that can be blamed for the most deaths.

One of the most important powers of these journals is that they can drive headlines like nobody’s business. When a Pharma friendly study gets published in one of those journals, it launches a PR media campaign that no amount of commercials or advertisements could accomplish. Conversely, if Pharma wants to prevent an effective generic drug or vitamin from being adopted widely, they pay researchers to design, conduct, and publish fraudulent studies in these journals. When such a study is published, it triggers an equally effective “negative” PR campaign warning the world and its doctors against using such “dangerous” and “ineffective” therapies…

More Rotten Fruit of Vatican II: Franciscans Abandon Phoenix Basilica

“It is with heavy hearts that the Franciscan Friars withdraw from St. Mary’s Basilica. Stay with us throughout the year as we celebrate our Franciscan legacy. In the words of Pope Francis (sic), “Let the Church always be a place of mercy and hope, where everyone is welcomed, loved and forgiven.” May that be our promise to each other in the coming year.”

https://saintmarysbasilica.org/franciscan-withdraw-from-st-marys/

This is stunning. The Franciscan Friars of Santa Barbara have run this parish since 1895. It sounds like their dwindling numbers have led to a nationwide restructuring, and this place had to be sacrificed. Wow.

And they were “reverent” Novus Ordo, too: Chant, traditional organ, Gloria, Sanctus, Agnus Dei all in Latin. But the preaching was SJW all the way.

The Basilica itself was Consecrated in 1915; it is quite beautiful and was never wreckovated. It is smack downtown, on the same campus as the diocesan offices. It’s the only Basilica in Arizona.

Statement from the Diocese of Phoenix regarding Saint Mary’s Basilica and the Franciscan Friars of the Santa Barbara Province

The Franciscan Friars of the Santa Barbara Province have informed the Diocese of Phoenix that because of diminished priestly vocations and a restructuring of their United States Provinces, they will withdraw from pastoral leadership of Saint Mary’s Basilica in downtown Phoenix. This decision was part of a long discernment process by the Franciscans, that will include other changes in assignments across their six U.S. provinces.

The Franciscan Friars have served the parish of Saint Mary’s since 1895 – 127 years of founding parishes and missions throughout Maricopa County. St. Mary’s Food Bank, St. Vincent de Paul and St. Mary’s High School were all founded under their leadership. On behalf of the faithful of the Diocese of Phoenix, Bishop John P. Dolan, expresses his deep gratitude to the Franciscans for their dedication and commitment to this historical first parish in Phoenix. In the Franciscan spirit they have ministered with generosity and compassion, playing a significant role in the growth and formation of the Catholic community over the past 127 years.

The Franciscans Friars will maintain their presence at the Franciscan Renewal Center, the Casa – Our Lady of the Angels Church in Paradise Valley and the Old Mission San Xavier del Bac outside of Tucson. The plan is for Saint Mary’s Basilica parish to be returned to the Diocese in the Summer of 2023. Future staffing is yet to be determined by the Diocese of Phoenix. The Franciscan Friars and the Diocese of Phoenix are committed to cooperation during this time of transition. A series of events are being planned to celebrate and mark the significant impact of the Basilica’s history in the Diocese of Phoenix. In a special way we keep Fr. Michael Weldon, OFM, the friars of Saint Mary’s, the staff, and parishioners in our prayer. We are grateful for their pastoral care of the people of God and for the diligent oversight of this historic place of prayer. May Our Lady and Saint Francis of Assisi pray and guide us in the days ahead.

Think you have too much suffering in your life? Our Lady of Sorrows shows us how it’s to be done.

()

Happy Feast of the Seven Sorrows of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

At the foot of the Cross, the Mother of God became Our Mother. Remember, Mary was more holy at the moment of her birth than all the saints combined at the moment of their deaths. Yet she only grew in holiness. This happened in many ways throughout her life, but most especially by her Son allowing her to participate in His Passion. Her participation is the only time “compassion” literally took place in the history of the universe. This was an act of love, in both directions.

She is our model, and Our Mother.

She is our model, because she is the epitome of bearing suffering well, ordering suffering towards its rightful object, uniting our suffering to the Cross, participating in our own redemption through the grace of suffering. It is even possible to experience joy through suffering while yet in this life. There is no escaping suffering, because it is for our own good. If you haven’t really experienced it yet, believe me, it’s coming. Get prepared.

She is Our Mother, precisely because her suffering entailed the participation in Christ’s Passion in a real way. Meaning, she suffered with Him every sin ever committed. She knows you, and she wants you to ask for her help. You are never given a burden heavier than you can manage, provided you work with the graces being offered. And guess who mediates all those graces? Yep, your Mother does that.

Pray the Rosary every day.

Our Lady of Sorrows, pray for us.

Stabat Mater sequence, literal translation:

1. The grieving Mother stood weeping
beside the cross where her Son was hanging

2. Through her weeping soul,
compassionate and grieving, a sword passed.

3. O how sad and afflicted
was that blessed Mother of the Only-begotten!

4. Who mourned and grieved, the pious Mother,
looking at the torment of her glorious Child

5. Who is the person who would not weep
seeing the Mother of Christ in such agony?

6. Who would not be able to feel compassion
on beholding Christ’s Mother suffering with her Son?

7. For the sins of his people
she saw Jesus in torment and subjected to the scourge.

8. She saw her sweet offspring dying,
forsaken, while He gave up his spirit

9. O Mother, fountain of love, make me feel
the power of sorrow, that I may grieve with you

10. Grant that my heart may burn in the love
of Christ my Lord, that I may greatly please Him

11. Holy Mother, grant that the wounds
of the Crucified drive deep into my heart.

12. That of your wounded Son, who so deigned
to suffer for me, I may share the pain

13. Let me sincerely weep with you,
bemoan the Crucified, for as long as I live

14. To stand beside the cross with you,
and to join you in your weeping, this I desire

15. Chosen Virgin of virgins,
be not bitter with me, let me weep with thee

16. Grant that I may bear the death of Christ,
share his Passion, and commemorate His wounds

17. Let me be wounded with his wounds,
let me be inebriated by the cross and your Son’s blood

18. Lest I be set afire by flames of death, Virgin,
may I be defended by you, on the day of judgement

19. Christ, when it is time to pass away, grant that
through your Mother I may come to the palm of victory

20. When my body dies, grant that to my soul
is given the glory of paradise. Amen

The Exaltation of the Holy Cross… learn to bear your own cross with patience and humility, uniting your suffering with Him and His Cross

Pick up your cross daily, and follow him. It is the only way, and it is quite rewarding. Blessed feast.

INTROIT Gal. 6:14
But it is fitting that we should glory in the Cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, in whom is salvation, life, and resurrection for us, by whom we are saved and delivered. Ps. 66:2. May God have mercy on us and bless us; may He let His face shine upon us; and may He have mercy upon us.

Death Penalty Bergoglian heresy explained in easy terms to know and share

“And one of those robbers who were hanged, blasphemed him, saying: If thou be Christ, save thyself and us. But the other answering, rebuked him, saying: Neither dost thou fear God, seeing thou art condemned under the same condemnation? And we indeed justly, for we receive the due reward of our deeds; but this man hath done no evil. And he said to Jesus: Lord, remember me when thou shalt come into thy kingdom. And Jesus said to him: Amen I say to thee, this day thou shalt be with me in paradise.” -Luke 23:39-43

Did you catch that? Did you catch verse 41, written by the Third Person of the Triune Godhead, through the hand of St. Luke?

“And we indeed justly, for we receive the due reward of our deeds…”

If you understand the truth of the eternal nature of the human soul, which Bergoglio denies, then you should be able to easily understand the death penalty as reflective of God’s perfect justice AND His perfect mercy. Read on…

It would be INSANE to suggest a valid pontiff could reverse 2000 years of doctrine, AMIRIGHT?

It’s said that everyone has their breaking point. Anyone who continues on the “Pope Francis” train past this station should be prepared to start questioning their own sanity. How many times do you need to see the law of non-contradiction *seemingly* broken, before you start to scratch your head and think, “Wait, that can’t happen”?

You know how someone should have told Luther that you can’t just rip out the parts of the bible you don’t like, and you can’t change the verses to better suit your liking? Well, someone should have told the Argentinian the same thing about the Catechism of the Catholic Church, because not only did he change it, but now he has driven a stake through it.

Conveniently, Diane Montagna has put together a powerhouse follow-up to her initial reportage yesterday of the Bergoglian Faux Mercy Machine on the Death Penalty HERE.  Thank God for the work she is doing at LifeSite, since the general media blackout otherwise continues unabated. Her piece is a must read.

She first captures commentary by Edward Feser, and then she brings in an anonymous theologian: Dominican vs Argentinian in a steel cage death match. It’s a rather lopsided battle.  Next up is a Catholic historian, Dr. Alan Fimister, who ends the scene by quoting the great Elizabeth Anscombe. Turns out Anscombe vs Argentinian is pretty decisive as well.

God is immutable. The Church, the Mystical Body of Christ, is immutable. It’s not that difficult a concept. When true popes teach, they document their orthodoxy by generously footnoting key points with references to Scripture, Fathers, Doctors, and past popes. A true pope goes out of his way to point out, “Hey, this isn’t new.” Go to vatican.va and pull up any document from any past pope. You will quickly see, this is how it’s done.

What can one say about a “Bishop of Rome” who claims the One True Faith was wrong – long on justice and short on mercy, with an immature conscience – from 33 A.D. to 2013 A.D. How could he contradict scripture, Tradition, Fathers and Doctors of the Church, and all of his “predecessors’? How can he deliberately misquote Aquinas (as he did in Amoris Laetitia as well) in trying to get support for his utterly novel teaching (which a scholar of ten years old can discover in ten seconds that Aquinas teaches exactly the opposite, and he does it in Articles 2-3 of the very same Question 64 that the Argentinian cites HERE.)

Imagine how profoundly UNPROTECTED one must be from the supernatural graces our Lord and Savior promised to Peter and his successors, to wake up one morning and decide to take on Saint Thomas Aquinas and invert his teachings. Imagine then GETTING AWAY WITH IT, cue the accompanying endorphin rush, BECAUSE SILENCE.

Oh yes, BTW he is still Argentinian, you know. Renewed his Argentinian passport, even though he’s the purported Head of State of a different sovereign entity. It’s almost like a sign, or something. He also doesn’t live where popes live. He also doesn’t wear what popes wear. He also doesn’t give the apostolic blessing like popes do. He also likes to be called bishop, not pope. Nothing to see here.

“The judge who fails the criminal in punishment himself incurs a greater guilt.”

If you don’t think CCC#675 is in play right now, think again. We’ve reached the point where the Vatican is attempting to deflect from the infestation of moral decay within the episcopate by publishing heresy in the Catechism. This is the Antichurch in ascendancy.

The death penalty is not unjust, it is just. It is not unmerciful, it is merciful. It is a means of repentance, forgiveness, and salvation. It forces the penitent (that’s why it’s called a ‘penitentiary’) to reflect more deeply on his sins as his time draws near, and hopefully experience a conversion. Justice demands this. Failing to dispense proportional punishment for a criminal act, is itself a criminal act. But for someone who doesn’t believe in the supernatural, doesn’t believe in the eternal life of the soul, none of this makes sense.

Anyway, I’m short on time, and Ann has already put up a bunch of proofs from Doctors or the Church and others. The title quote is from the brilliant John Senior, whom I’ve quoted many times on this site. Read it all HERE.

Holy Mary, Mother of God: “Those are the graces for which people forget to ask”

(Originally posted September 12, 2019)

Today is the Feast of the Holy Name of Mary. Blessed be her Holy Name!

Following is a condensed version of the Miraculous Medal story, followed by a little advice:

Catherine rose, knelt beside the Blessed Mother and rested her hands in the Virgin’s lap. Mary said: “God wishes to charge you with a mission. You will be contradicted, but do not fear; you will have the grace to do what is necessary. Tell your spiritual director all that passes within you. Times are evil in France and in the world.”

A pain crossed the Virgin’s face.

“Come to the foot of the altar. Graces will be shed on all, great and little, especially upon those who ask for them. You will have the protection of God and Saint Vincent. I always will have my eyes upon you. There will be much persecution. The cross will be treated with contempt. It will be hurled to the ground and blood will flow.” Then after speaking for some time, the Lady like a fading shadow was gone.

On Saturday, November 27, 1830, at 5:30 p.m., she retired to the Chapel with the other Sisters for evening meditation. Catherine heard the faint swish of silk… she recognized our Lady’s signal. Raising her eyes to the main altar, she saw her beautiful Lady standing on a large globe.

The Virgin Spoke, this time giving a direct order: “Have a Medal struck after this model. All who wear it will receive great graces; they should wear it around the neck. Graces will abound for persons who wear it with confidence.” HERE

When Saint Catherine was shown the model for the medal, in 3D, she noticed that certain gems within it appeared dim, and she asked Our Lady why they didn’t shine. Her response:

“Those are the graces for which people forget to ask.” HERE

Your Mother is literally begging you to beg her. Implore her Holy Name. Praying the Ave is like praying twice, because her Holy Name is found twice therein. Have you started praying the Rosary every day? Have you at least tried? Because I can assure you that you will succeed and your desire to recite it will win out, despite considerable effort from the enemy to prevent you. When you find you desire it, but “something comes up,” well that is Satan, my friend. He’s also the same one who throws down barricades to Daily Mass and Adoration. When Satan starts paying extra attention to you, it’s because he knows he’s losing his grip. Maintain your bearing, see this for what it is, and redouble your resolve.

Mary is in heaven right now, her palms outstretched to you, at the ready with weaponized Grace.

Won’t you join me today in the Litany of the Blessed Virgin Mary? Approved by Pope Sixtus V in 1587, it contains so many sweet, sweet names and titles for Our Lady, I absolutely love it. O Mary conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee.
