“This is Portland 911; can you please hold?”

Portland antifa thugs torched PPD’s North Precinct Sunday night. The riot started around 10:35pm, and lasted into Monday morning.

“The demonstration “forced the assistance of about 35 officers from patrol, severely limiting 911 call response. As the riot was ending, there were 80 calls holding in the city, ranging from shots fired, car crashes, welfare checks, priority threats, missing persons, and more,” police said.”

How long before additional criminals figure out the cops are too busy with riots in the city, and don’t have the personnel to patrol the residential neighborhoods? What could go wrong?

Biden as the light bearer… at least he’s too dumb to be the Antichrist

I can definitely see this being an oft repeated theme as we march toward November. In case you missed his acceptance speech, what there was of it, this was the central point.

And why shouldn’t it be totally Luciferian? Come on, man!

Louie Verrecchio wrote about it yesterday:

“I am the mother of fair love, and of fear, and of knowledge, and of holy hope.”

Happy Feast of the Immaculate Heart of Mary! May I just say, GOD BLESS the holy priests who are carrying out their solemn duties in the midst of this total breakdown of Western society. Thank God especially for the ones who, instead of locking their churches and hiding, have actually multiplied the number of public Masses they are offering, and expanded Confession times. They will surely be rewarded. Lastly, thank God especially for those priests who refuse to make people wear masks. THANK YOU.

The title of this post is from today’s Lesson, Ecclesiasticus (Sirach) 24:23. The Holy Heart of Mary is a tremendous font of Holy Hope. If only more people understood this. Mary’s sinless perfection means her heart is perfect, both physically perfect and perfect in its complete focus on loving God. A heart divided cannot adore God as it should. We are called to imitate her heart as best we can, at every stage of the spiritual life. This desire should burn within us, so that our own love for God will burn all the more.

We are also called to share in her heart, by sharing in both her joys and her suffering. If you are having trouble understanding how or why God has allowed you so suffer, take a look at what He allowed His mother to suffer. Just as we are called to unite our sufferings to the Cross, we should also share them (and bear them) with the Blessed Virgin. She is our mother, she loves us so much, and she wants the very best for us.

God the Son came into her virginal womb as a new Adam into his earthly paradise, to take his delight there and produce hidden wonders of grace. God-made-man found freedom in imprisoning himself in her womb. He displayed power in allowing himself to be borne by this young maiden. He found his glory and that of his Father in hiding his splendors from all creatures here below and revealing them only to Mary. He glorified his independence and his majesty in depending upon this lovable virgin in his conception, his birth, his presentation in the temple, and in the thirty years of his hidden life. Even at his death she had to be present so that he might be united with her in one sacrifice and be immolated with her consent to the eternal Father, just as formerly Isaac was offered in sacrifice by Abraham when he accepted the will of God. It was Mary who nursed him, fed him, cared for him, reared him, and sacrificed him for us.

The Holy Spirit could not leave such wonderful and inconceivable dependence of God unmentioned in the Gospel, though he concealed almost all the wonderful things that Wisdom Incarnate did during his hidden life in order to bring home to us its infinite value and glory. Jesus gave more glory to God his Father by submitting to his Mother for thirty years than he would have given him had he converted the whole world by working the greatest miracles. How highly then do we glorify God when to please him we submit ourselves to Mary, taking Jesus as our sole model.

NYC: Manhattan totally boarded up; Movers so busy, they are turning people away

The NYPD union voted to endorse Trump earlier this week. This has never happened before. I get the feeling the cops know, better then anyone, their city really is on the brink of total collapse, as in, point of no return. If you don’t know what it looks like in Manhattan right now, be sure to watch the video at the end:

“It felt like move-out day on a college campus,” said Bobby DelGreco, who recently vacated his apartment in Stuyvesant Town after nine years and is now living in a long-term Airbnb in Los Angeles. “All the doors were propped open, and there were moving trucks and furniture everywhere.”

Matt Jahn, who owns the Brooklyn-based Metropolis Moving, said he has been inundated with customer requests. It’s more demand than he can handle. “We are turning people away because we just don’t have the capacity,” he said. “Normally, in a given summer, we spend a bunch on advertising. But we cut it this year because we couldn’t afford it. And we have still had amazing demand.”

“Right in the beginning, we weren’t sure if we were allowed to work, and a lot of businesses were in limbo,” said Daniel Norber, the owner of Imperial Movers, based in the West Village. “Everyone was wondering if they should close shop.”

But later that month, Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo announced that moving was considered an essential service. “Within 30 minutes of the announcement I got a flood of calls,” Mr. Jahn said. Business hasn’t slowed since, and movers expect the trend to continue through the fall.

“The first day we could move, we left,” said Jaime Welsh-Rajchel…

“Ghost Town”: Shocking Dystopian Video Of NYC Shows An Abandoned And Boarded Up 5th Avenue

De Blasio’s New York has finally hit an all-time low: the once bustling city is now on the verge of looking like a demilitarized zone. Between the pandemic and the riots in the city, iconic 5th Avenue now looks more like a dystopian nightmare in a recently shot video posted to Twitter.

The video follows a car driving down a deserted 5th Avenue, with almost all of the area’s high end stores boarded up and shut down. There are few people seen on what is usually a busy street.

“Look at everything. Everything’s boarded up. Even the hotel. Boarded up,” the video’s narrator, who is obviously fed up with how the city looks, says.

He continues: “This is all Manhattan, boarded up. Have you ever seen Manhattan look like this? The media will not report this.”

“Everything boarded up. They don’t want to show this to you people because they’re afraid. Saks 5th Avenue – boarded up from end to end. They put up barbed wire. Everywhere you see boards, windows are gone. Look at New York City – what happened,” he says.

Last one out, turn off the lights: Philly mass exodus after police defunded and chaos reigns

Note the caption at the top left of the photos. The red dots only represent about one-third of the actual number of homes for sale in each picture.

Of course the Marxist police commissioner, mayor, and DA think the answer is more so-called “gun control laws,” which violent criminals so often obey. Police aren’t allowed to police, so what difference does it make?

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) — Police Commissioner Danielle Outlaw is asking the community to act with a sense of urgency and is challenging leaders to push for changes as homicide rates surge in Philadelphia.

Outlaw spoke at a crime scene Tuesday where she discussed several challenges she believes the community is facing with reducing violent crimes.

“This isn’t OK. The sooner we get our hands wrapped around this, and sooner that folks understand that we have to work together to get this done, the better off we’ll be,” Outlaw said.

The commissioner continues to echo the message of other city leaders who are pushing for stricter gun laws, but noted those changes are up to state lawmakers who can create new legislation.

“There has to be stricter gun laws here. We don’t have control over the gun laws. Folks are asking the right questions, but we got to start asking the right questions to the right people,” Outlaw said.

Maricopa County vows mask mandate until there are ZERO cases for 28 straight days

“Now that we’ve proven to you that masks work, you will be forced to wear one until there are exactly zero new cases for a month straight, or else when 40% of the population get a vaxx some day.”

https://medium.com/@maricopacountyaz/maricopa-county-covid-19-update-4f9a34fe7335

THE COUNTYWIDE MASK MANDATE WORKING?

The Maricopa County Board of Supervisors unanimously approved a countywide mask mandate on June 20 in response to a rapid increase in cases. Almost exactly 14 days later, COVID-19 case numbers plateaued and began to decline. Other states and cities who have implemented similar mask requirements have also seen a significant decline in case rates 14 days after the requirement was implemented.

While other policies were implemented nearly simultaneously, such as closing bars and gyms statewide, Public Health is confident that the mask requirement played a critical role in reducing the spread of COVID-19 in Maricopa County.

HOW LONG WILL THE MASK MANDATE REMAIN IN EFFECT?

Maricopa County Public Health recommends that the mask requirement be kept in place until one of two situations occur:

  1. Until there is no community spread of COVID-19 documented in Maricopa County as defined by a 28-day period during which no new COVID-19 cases are reported to public health
  2. Until a COVID-19 vaccine is widely available with at least 40% of the population vaccinated.

If there is no COVID-19 circulating, then masks are not required to prevent spread.

If there’s a vaccine and approximately 40% of the population is vaccinated (about the same percentage that gets the flu vaccine every year), there will be enough immunity to prevent a rapid increase in cases. Additionally, those who are at highest risk will be able to protect themselves with a measure other than social distancing.
