Antipope Bergoglio speaks out AGAINST religious liberty SCOTUS victory

He hates you with a special hate. He wants the churches closed, with no access to the sacraments. He wants you locked in your house, under forced arrest. This man is an instrument of Satan.

The day after SCOTUS tells Gov. Cuomo to stuff his church restrictions up his Thanksgiving turkey, antipope Bergoglio appears on the op-ed page of the NYT:

“With some exceptions, governments have made great efforts to put the well-being of their people first, acting decisively to protect health and to save lives. The exceptions have been some governments that shrugged off the painful evidence of mounting deaths, with inevitable, grievous consequences. But most governments acted responsibly, imposing strict measures to contain the outbreak.

“Yet some groups protested, refusing to keep their distance, marching against travel restrictions — as if measures that governments must impose for the good of their people constitute some kind of political assault on autonomy or personal freedom! Looking to the common good is much more than the sum of what is good for individuals. It means having a regard for all citizens and seeking to respond effectively to the needs of the least fortunate.

“It is all too easy for some to take an idea — in this case, for example, personal freedom — and turn it into an ideology, creating a prism through which they judge everything.”

Be thankful that the Creator of the universe died so that you might live

He would have done it just for you. As He hung on the Cross, He willingly suffered punishment for every one of your sins, so that you might be redeemed. Anytime you get the slightest tweak of self pity, grumpiness, or think everything is just so crappy and you have nothing to be thankful for, remember this.

None of us merit Heaven… try bringing that up at the dinner table today. Give thanks that He gave you a chance, by cooperating with His grace, to someday get there.

Give thanks for your sufferings. This year has been a tremendous opportunity to get ourselves more properly ordered, and to suffer well. There are so many extra graces available right now. These sufferings are permitted so that you might use them to draw yourself closer to Christ, by uniting them with His sacrifice. When properly ordered, you learn to see these difficulties as an honor, a participation in His Passion. Look what His apostles endured. Look what His Mother endured. Have patience and persevere.

God loves you more than you are capable of knowing while you yet reside on this mortal coil. He yearns for you to love Him back, through zeal, obedience, adoration, exultation, and… thanksgiving. He wants you to be with Him forever.

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!

Fake pope of BLM laments whole families who have lost their income, unless they lost it through lockdowns

Remember, they can’t help but to out themselves. It’s all meant to be very, very visible. Obvious, in fact, so that invincible ignorance will not be accepted as a proper defense.

November 24, 2020 (LifeSiteNews) – In a rant by Pope Francis where he lets down his guard and allows his leftist colors to show more than in the past, the Pope said of anti-lockdown protestors, “you’ll never find such people protesting the death of George Floyd, or joining a demonstration because there are shantytowns where children lack water or education, or because there are whole families who have lost their income.”

His comments come in a teaser for the Pope’s new book-length interview with leftist Vatican journalist Austen Ivereigh.

In it, the pope lashes out at anti-lockdown protesters, saying, “those who claim, for example, that being forced to wear a mask is an unwarranted imposition by the state.” He calls them, “victims only in their own imagination.”

St. John of the Cross: “To arrive at being all, desire to be nothing”

Today is the Feast of St John of the Cross, Doctor of the Church. He is a tremendous model of faith, hope, love, humility, self denial, and detachment. He asked God for suffering, knowing that suffering is a great weapon in the way toward sanctity, and he got what he asked for. His prose in the Dark Night is not to be missed; it’s unlike anything you’ve ever read. He provides so much wisdom in so few words. Happy feast!

“In the twilight of life, God will not judge us on our earthly possessions and human successes, but on how well we have loved.”

“Well and good if all things change, O Lord God, provided I am rooted in You.”

“Where there is no love, put love — and you will find love.”

“Now that I no longer desire all, I have it all without desire.”

“If a man wishes to be sure of the road he’s traveling on, then he must close his eyes and travel in the dark.”

“God has to work in the soul in secret and in darkness because if we fully knew what was happening, and what Mystery, transformation, God and Grace will eventually ask of us, we would either try to take charge or stop the whole process.”

“Happiness is not a destination, it’s a method of travel.”

“To reach satisfaction in all, desire satisfaction in nothing. To come to possess all, desire the possession of nothing. To arrive at being all, desire to be nothing. To come to the knowledge of all, desire the knowledge of nothing. To come to enjoy what you have not, you must go by a way in which you enjoy not. To come to the possession you have not, you must go by a way in which you possess not. To come to what you are not, you must go by a way in which you are not.”

“If you do not learn to deny yourself, you can make no progress in perfection.”

“There is nothing better or more necessary than love.”

“Have a great love for those who contradict and fail to love you, for in this way love is begotten in a heart that has no love.”

“At the evening of life, we shall be judged on our love”

And finally this, which we do well never to forget:

“Some of these beginners, too, make little of their faults, and at other times become over-sad when they see themselves fall into them, thinking themselves to have been saints already; and thus they become angry and impatient with themselves, which is another imperfection. Often they beseech God, with great yearnings, that He will take from them their imperfections and faults, but they do this that they may find themselves at peace, and may not be troubled by them, rather than for God’s sake; not realizing that, if He should take their imperfections from them, they would probably become prouder and more presumptuous still. They dislike praising others and love to be praised themselves; sometimes they seek out such praise. Herein they are like the foolish virgins, who, when their lamps could not be lit, sought oil from others.”

St. John of the Cross, pray for us.

“Waiting for Sidney”

In Beckett’s play, “Waiting for Godot,” Godot never shows up. Let’s hope the ending is different this time. Pray for Sidney Powell and everyone else involved in this fight. The odds are long, no matter what the truth proves to be. Pray!

The excerpt below is from a piece by Roger Kimball at American Greatness:

…Powell promises that her team will begin making evidence of their claims available as early as this week. Her team has suits teed-up in all the swing states and hundreds of affidavits to back them up. Of course, an affidavit is just a sworn statement. It might or might not be true. To verify would, I believe, require further evidence. Does Powell have that evidence? She says she does. For now, though, we are all caught in a postmodern version of a Beckett play, Waiting for Sidney. Will she arrive?

Many big claims have been made, and not only by Sidney Powell.  Another  lawyer, the celebrated Lin Wood, has joined the fight. Like Powell, he believes that Trump won in “a landslide,” by “millions of votes” that, were the ballots accurately counted, would deliver Trump the popular vote as well as some 400 electoral votes. A resident of Georgia, he has just filed suit there.

One commentator who knows Powell weighed in on the state of play, noting that he believes Powell. He believes her and her fellow attorneys partly because of the abundant circumstantial evidence of voter fraud, partly because if she and her colleagues are wrong, or are deceiving us, the penalties would be severe.

“If these charges are false,” he noted, “their careers are finished.”

The Presentation of Our Lady

COLLECT
O God, You willed that the blessed ever-virgin Mary, the dwelling place of the Holy Spirit, should be presented in the temple on this day. May we be worthy through her intercession to be presented in the temple of Your glory.

Today is the feast whereby the Temple of God entered the temple of God in Jerusalem. Pius tradition holds that Mary was three years old at the time, and that she remained in the temple for probably ten years, until her betrothal to St. Joseph.

Upon entering the temple, at age three, she already possessed more holiness than the greatest saints at the end of their lives. Having been preserved from the stain of original sin by the redeeming act of her Son applied retroactively, Mary came into the world totally pure, and full of grace. Yet she only continued to grow in holiness, to a degree that her parents took this decision for her at such a tender age. So she worshiped in the temple and prepared herself to better serve God.

Pray for the graces necessary to better serve our Lord. Pray for your Mother to assist in your sanctification. Pray that you be deemed worthy to be presented in the temple of His Glory.

Happy feast!
