Pentecost, the descent of the Holy Ghost, is the birthday of the Church… the One True Church, founded by Jesus Christ, outside of which there is no salvation. Pentecost is also the Third Glorious Mystery of the Most Holy Rosary of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Fruit of the Mystery: ZEAL. Love of God. Zeal means loving God in a way which surpasses all other love. It means learning to love all of Him, including the difficulties and sufferings which He permits, which are meant to be used as a tool to draw you closer to Him. Zeal also means taking action, with words and deeds, in being a warrior for Christ. There is no greater merit than cooperating with divine grace in seeking the salvation of souls, which rightly belong to Him. If you see anyone in a public space doing the opposite of this… leading souls away from God and away from His Most Holy Church… RUN the other way, and warn as many people as you can.

Happy Pentecost! Got Zeal?

The Third Glorious Mystery of the Most Holy Rosary of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the Co-Redemptrix, is the descent of the Holy Ghost at Pentecost. The fruit of this mystery is ZEAL – LOVE OF GOD. 🔥

An excellent collection of quotes on the utter necessity of zeal for the salvation of souls.  Remember these quotes when you hear anyone say that proselytism is “solemn nonsense”, or that they have no desire to convert a person or persons to the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church, outside of which there is no salvation.

St. James the Apostle: “He must know that he who causeth a sinner to be converted from the error of his way will save his own soul from death and shall cover a multitude of sins” (St. James 5, 19-20).

St. John Chrysostom, (ARSH 347-407), the illustrious Bishop of Constantinople, and Doctor of the Church, tells us: “Zeal for the salvation of souls is of so great a merit before God, that to give up all our goods to the poor, or to spend our whole life in the exercises of all sorts of austerities cannot equal the merit of it. There is no service more agreeable to God than this one. To employ one’s life in this blessed labor is more pleasing to the Divine Majesty than to suffer martyrdom. Would you not feel happy if you could spend large sums of money in corporal works of mercy? But know that he who labors for the salvation of souls does far more; nay, the zeal of souls is of far greater merit before God . . . than the working of miracles.”

Pope St. Gregory the Great (ARSH 590-604): “No sacrifice is more acceptable to God than zeal for souls.”

St. Vincent de Paul (ARSH 1576-1660): That St. Vincent was devoured by zeal for the house of God, his entire life testifies, because that life was employed in combating evil and extending the reign of good; and in this consists true zeal. Listen to some of his instructions to his community: “Let us give ourselves to God, gentlemen, to go to carry His holy Gospel over the entire earth and into whatever part He may lead us; there, let us maintain our part, and continue our duties until such time as His good pleasure will withdraw us. Let no difficulties move us, the glory of the eternal Father and the efficacy of the Word and of the passion of His Son are at stake. The salvation of men and our own are so great that they merit to be obtained at any price.”

St. Rose of Lima, (ARSH 1586-1617). We read that her confessor offered himself to go to the missions, but he feared because of the dangers it would entail. After consulting the saint, he heard these words: “Go Father, and do not fear. Leave all to labor for the conversion of the infidel, and know that the greatest service that man can offer to God is to convert souls, for this is a work proper of the Apostolate. What greater happiness could there be than to baptize, be it only a little Indian child who would enter Heaven through the gates of Baptism?”

St. John de Brebeuf (ARSH 1593-1649), one of the eight North American Martyrs, was heard to say, after pouring the saving waters of Baptism on a dying Indian child, “For this one single occasion I would travel all the way from France; I would cross the great ocean to win one little soul for Our Lord!”

St. Margaret Mary (ARSH 1647-1690): “My divine Savior has given to understand that those who work for the salvation of souls will have a gift of touching the most hardened hearts, and will labor with marvelous success, if they themselves are penetrated with a tender devotion to His Divine Heart.”

St. Anthony Mary Claret (ARSH 1808-1870): “Another thing that spurs me on to preach ceaselessly is the thought of the multitude of souls which fall into the depths of hell, who die in mortal sin, condemned forever and ever… if you were to see a blind man about to fall into a pit or over a precipice, would you not warn him? Behold, I do the same…” “How often I pray with St. Catherine of Siena: O my God, grant me a place by the gates of Hell, that I may stop those who enter there, saying: “Where are you going, unhappy one? The motivating force that dominated St. John Bosco’s (ARSH 1815-1888) life is found in a phrase that is typically his: “Give me souls, you take the rest.” “There is nothing more holy in this world than to work for the good of souls, for whose salvation Jesus Christ poured out the last drops of His Blood.” In his writings and conferences, he consistently pointed out that: “Man is successful in this world if he saves his soul and is very knowledgeable if he knows the science of salvation; but he is a total failure if he loses his soul and knows nothing if he is ignorant of those things that can assure him of eternal salvation.” From his book The Life of St. Dominic Savio, St. John Bosco had this to say of St. Dominic Savio (the teenage saint who died in his 15th year): “The thought of saving souls for God was never out of his mind.” St. Dominic Savio, (1842-1856), in a serious conversation with one of his companions, gave several reasons for his apostolic zeal in “saving souls”: 1. My companion’s soul has been redeemed by Jesus Christ. 2. We are all brothers and so we must love each other’s souls. 3. God urges us to help each other. 4. If I manage to save one soul, I also ensure the salvation of my own.

St. Thérèse of Lisieux (ARSH 1873-1897): “We have only short moments of this life to work for God’s glory. The devil knows this and that is why he tries to make us waste time in useless things. O, let us not waste our time! Let us save souls! Souls are falling into hell innumerable as the flakes of snow on a winter day. Jesus weeps! Instead of consoling Him we are brooding over our own sorrows . . . There is only one thing to do during the brief day, or rather, night of this life: Love Jesus with all the strength of your heart and save souls for Him, so that He may be loved!”

Anthony Fauci: We Will Require Coronavirus Vaccine Booster Shots ‘Within a Year’

Dr. Anthony Fauci estimated Americans will need a coronavirus booster vaccine shot within a year, he predicted at a media event sponsored by the pharmaceutical industry.

“I think we will almost certainly require a booster sometime within a year or so, after getting the primary [shot], because the durability of protection against coronaviruses is generally not lifelong,” Fauci said about the future of the coronavirus vaccines.

The media event was organized by Axios and sponsored by PhRMA, a trade group representing the pharmaceutical industry. Fauci joined Axios co-founder Mike Allen and reporter Caitlin Owens for the event with the Chairman and CEO of Pfizer and the President and CEO of PhRMA that airs online Wednesday afternoon.

The federal government encourages all Americans to get two shots of the Pfizer and Moderna coronavirus vaccine before being allowed to take off their masks in public and return to daily life.

Fauci expressed concern that even unvaccinated people were unmasking, after the updated CDC guidelines for vaccinated people.

“I think people are misinterpreting, thinking that this is a removal of a mask mandate for everyone. It’s not,” he said.

Ivermectin… what’s good for the horse is good for the handler

You might have heard that the NIH rescinded its ban on ivermectin as a treatment for corona a few weeks ago.

This was accomplished in large part by the impassioned testimony of Dr. Kory on December 8th, 2020. If you haven’t watch it yet, it is must see TV. The NIH timing is also interesting, isn’t it, because the FDA can’t issue Emergency Authorization for a “vaccine” if viable treatments are already available. But now that that’s done, boom, cheap and effective drug no longer banned. If you have any lingering doubts about the safety and efficacy of ivermectin, you need to listen to Dr. Kory:

By the way, they’ve known as far back as June 2020 that ivermectin is highly effective, safe, and FAST. Goes to work immediately, and wipes out the corona in 48 hours.

If that still doesn’t work, you’ve always got the option of horse paste. Yes, really. Not tasty, but quite effective.

The best news is, it works as a prophylactic too.

This is what it looks like out of the box. If you were treating a horse, you’d take the cap off, stick the white part into the tooth gap (horses have a gap between their front and back teeth… where the bit goes), and PLUNGE! Mr. Ed is now safe from bugs of all sorts for three months.

Now, if you don’t have a 2500 animal you are using this on, that’s okay. You can divide it into smaller doses by sliding that white ring down the plunger and locking it back in at the weight you want. So now the plunger will only go partway down, until it hits the ring and stops. No need for any math to determine proper dosage.

The dosage administered here is for healthy individuals, as a prophylactic. It’s half as strong as the full dosage. I took two doses, ten days apart. That was three weeks ago, zero side effects. I highly suggest finding some sort of food to wrap up your paste, to make it easier to go down. Mixing it into a glass of juice could also work. Just don’t try it straight, as the aftertaste will make you cry.

I have been a city boy all my life, but I did spend one summer on a ranch in Colorado around 5th Grade. I had a horse. His name was Spunky.

Neanderthal New York opens up maskless 100% capacity even as “cases” rage, because ¡Science!

Corona cases in New York, according to their own data, are higher than at any point last year, when the entire state was shut down, and Gov. Cuomo was murdering thousands of nursing home patients. Remember?

Half a million active cases, and they are fully opening 100% no masks no distancing no capacity limits. How can there be any doubt that this has been the worst crime against humanity ever committed. Why is no one asking any questions?

N.Y. to drop mask rules, follow CDC guidance

New York will follow new federal coronavirus guidance that says fully vaccinated people no longer need to wear masks or socially distance, the state’s governor announced Monday.

Gov. Andrew Cuomo said the new rules will go into effect Wednesday, the same day New York and New Jersey will eliminate most fixed, percentage-based indoor capacity limits on restaurants, stores, personal service, and other businesses, while also removing all outdoor gathering caps.

Masks will still be required in New York on public transportation and businesses and private venues could still require people to wear masks, Cuomo said. People who are unvaccinated are still required to wear masks and social distance.

University of California so woke they ban racist SAT and ACT from admission criteria

University of California System Will No Longer Consider SAT and ACT Scores for Admissions

The nine campuses of the University of California system will no longer consider standardized testing scores as part of the admission process beginning in the fall of 2021.

The change is the result of a legal settlement (pdf) of a lawsuit brought by groups that claimed that the traditional SAT and ACT tests are racist.

Under the settlement, the university, which enrolls some 225,000 undergraduate students, said it won’t consider SAT or ACT scores sent along with admissions applications… The settlement specifies that the university can still use SAT and ACT scores to determine course placement after the students are accepted. But the nine campuses will no longer use the test scores to determine how to award scholarships.

As part of the settlement, the University of California system will pay $1.25 million in attorney fees to the lawyers who represented the plaintiffs.

Has-been rock star Ted Nugent told the world last week that he has COVID-19.  Nugent’s announcement was an oddity because he previously called the viral pandemic a “leftist scam to destroy” Donald Trump. As I watched Nugent’s Facebook Live post, in which he repeatedly hocked up wads of phlegm and spit them to the ground, I got emotional when he described being so sick he thought he “was dying.” But when he trashed the COVID-19 vaccine and warned people against taking it, I realized that the emotion I was feeling was not empathy, it was anger.

For the better part of a year, as the coronavirus racked up hundreds of thousands of American deaths, the flickering light at the end of the tunnel was herd immunity — the antibody force shield that comes when enough people have survived the illness or have been vaccinated against it. “Go get vaccinated, America,” President Joe Biden said in his speech to a joint session of Congress, referring to the shot as “a dose of hope.” 

…Herd immunity is slipping away because a quarter of Americans are refusing to get the COVID-19 vaccine. “There is no eradication at this point, it’s off the table,” Dr. Gregory Poland, director of the Mayo Clinic’s Vaccine Research Group, recently said. “We as a society have rejected” herd immunity. 

Hmm, no! “We” have not rejected anything. A quarter of the country is ruining it for all of us.

It’s not just wacky former rockers who have put herd immunity out of reach. It is white evangelicals (45% say they won’t get vaccinated). And it is Republicans (almost 50% are refusing the vaccine). In Texas, 61% of white Republicans say they are reluctant to get the vaccine or would refuse it. You can slap the euphemism “vaccine hesitancy” on the problem, but in the end the G.O.P., and the children of G.O.D., are perpetuating a virus that is sickening and killing people in droves.

A big part of the problem stems from the cultish relationship many evangelicals and Republicans have with the former president. They absorbed his endless efforts to downplay the danger of the virus and turn public health precautions into a political freedom movement. But the time for analyzing why these human petri dishes have chosen to ignore the medical science that could save them, and us, is over. We need a different strategy. I propose shunning. 

Biden’s wildly successful vaccine rollout means that soon everyone who wants a vaccine will have one. When that happens, restaurants, movie theaters, gyms, barbers, airlines and Ubers should require proof of vaccination before providing their services.

And it shouldn’t stop there. Businesses should make vaccination a requirement for employment…Things should get personal, too: People should require friends to be vaccinated to attend the barbecues and birthday parties they host. Friends don’t let friends spread the coronavirus...

As a country, America has become too tolerant of half-witted individual autonomy that ignores the existential needs of the vast majority of its citizens.
