“Star Wars: The Acolyte,” the eight-part series streaming on Disney+, is being pilloried as a “new low” for Disney, “a queer Marxist vandalization of the myth of Star Wars” and an “embarrassment to the entire franchise.”

Even its defenders acknowledge its woke tilt. Drew Taylor, film critic for TheWrap, called it “arguably the gayest ‘Star Wars’ yet by a considerable margin. It’s pretty gay. Let’s be honest.”

At the center of the drama is Episode 3, which aired last week. The segment featured what the LGBTQ publication Them described as a “coven of lesbian space witches” who appear to use the Force to conceive the twins Mae and Osha without any male involvement.

The episode also turns the whole good-versus-evil foundation of “Star Wars” on its head with lines such as: “This isn’t about good or bad. This is about power and who has the right to use it.”

The series registered an 84% critics’ rating but an abysmal 14% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes based on more than 10,000 reviews, an all-time low for a “Star Wars” spinoff.

Alan Ng, editor-in-chief of Film Threat, led those sounding the death knell for the franchise. He recalled in his June 5 review that “I became a massive Star Wars fan in 1977” at the age of 10. “I bought this galaxy far, far away, and today, I don’t recognize the place anymore. [Creator] Leslye Headland’s The Acolyte managed to put the final nail in the coffin for this fully grown adult. Yes. I accept it. Disney Star Wars is not for me.”

The cabal wants to deliver a “kill shot” to the TLM? Right.

The very hubris of it makes me laugh. Not that they may not try, not that it may not get ugly in the short term, but really.

If in the inscrutable plan of Divine Providence we, the faithful Church, are given a period of 100 years (a counterpoise to the 100 years allowed to satan in the vision of Pope Leo XIII), you will not see any celebration of the novus ordo in the Church.

And it probably won’t take that long.

The law of prayer is the law of belief. The liturgy of the Church expresses and protects the faith of the Church. It must be so. Indeed, the Bergoglians admit this much when they claim the Mass is outdated, no longer expressing the faith of their Church. Of course, they cannot fail to be duplicitous even when giving an explanation like that, pointing to more than one liturgical book defining that “unique” expression.

Well, the abomination of TC has been well refuted by others, so I will leave it there. But it is an evident falsehood to claim the N.O. is the unique expression of the Roman rite unless we mean “unique” to be “peculiar”.

To the point: no matter what they do, no matter what unjust and invalid penalties they try to enforce, the Mass will survive.

IT’S TOO LATE. THE CAT IS OUT OF THE BOX.

Very few who have, through the grace of God, found the ancient Mass will want to give it up again. This is not the era of Vatican II, when after long years of holy and effective leadership the faithful instinctively trusted in the goodwill, Catholicity, and effectiveness of the hierarchy. No sir, there is palpable distrust and even disgust of our “leadership”…

I’m printing the Archbishop’s response in full, for the record. It is quite good, but once again he refuses to use the term “antipope,” which remember, is not a title, but a charge of criminality. I hope he will soon, finally, drive this thing all the way home. It is his only defense. No one who, for legitimate reasons, doubts the person of the Pope, can be accused of schism.

Also note in the linked article, and in the formal charges, that the usurpers go out of their way to bind themselves to all the worst errors of Vatican II… as if they can’t help themselves. The visibility of it all is quite delightful, in a certain way.

It will be interesting to see if any of the “good guy” Bishops/Cardinals have anything to say about this.

ATTENDITE A FALSIS PROPHETIS

Announcement regarding the start of the extrajudicial criminal trial for schism (Art. 2 SST; can. 1364 CIC)

The Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith has informed me, with a simple email, of the initiation of an extrajudicial penal trial against me, with the accusation of having committed the crime of schism and charging me of having denied the legitimacy of “Pope Francis” of having broken communion “with Him” and of having rejected the Second Vatican Council. I have been summoned to the Palace of the Holy Office on June 20, in person or represented by a canon lawyer. I assume that the sentence has already been prepared, given that it is an extrajudicial process.

I regard the accusations against me as an honor. I believe that the very wording of the charges confirms the theses that I have repeatedly defended in my various addresses. It is no coincidence that the accusation against me concerns the questioning of the legitimacy of Jorge Mario Bergoglio and the rejection of Vatican II: the Council represents the ideological, theological, moral, and liturgical cancer of which the Bergoglian “synodal church” is the necessary metastasis.

It is necessary for the Episcopate, the Clergy and the People of God to seriously ask themselves whether it is consistent with the profession of the Catholic Faith to passively witness the systematic destruction of the Church by its leaders, just as other subversives are destroying civil society. Globalism calls for ethnic substitution: Bergoglio promotes uncontrolled immigration and calls for the integration of cultures and religions. Globalism supports LGBTQ+ ideology: Bergoglio authorizes the blessing of same-sex couples and imposes on the faithful the acceptance of homosexualism, while covering up the scandals of his protégés and promoting them to the highest positions of responsibility. Globalism imposes the green agenda: Bergoglio worships the idol of the Pachamama, writes delirious encyclicals about the environment, supports the Agenda 2030, and attacks those who question the theory of man-made global warming. He goes beyond his role in matters that strictly pertain to science, but always and only in one direction: a direction that is diametrically opposed to what the Church has always taught. He has mandated the use of experimental gene serums, which caused very serious damage, death and sterility, calling them “an act of love,” in exchange for funding from pharmaceutical companies and philanthropic foundations. His total alignment with the Davos religion is scandalous. Wherever governments at the service of the World Economic Forum have introduced or extended abortion, promoted vice, legitimized homosexual unions or gender transition, encouraged euthanasia, and tolerated the persecution of Catholics, not a word has been spent in defense of the Faith or Morals that are threatened, or in support of the civil battles of so many Catholics who have been abandoned by the Vatican and the Bishops. Not a word for the persecuted Catholics in China, with the complicity of the Holy See, which considers Beijing’s billions more important than the lives and freedom of thousands of Chinese who are faithful to the Roman Church. In the “synodal church” presided over by Bergoglio, no schism is recognized among the German Episcopate, or among the government-appointed Bishops who have been consecrated in China without the mandate of Rome. Because their action is consistent with the destruction of the Church, and therefore must be concealed, minimized, tolerated, and finally encouraged. In these eleven years of “pontificate” the Catholic Church has been humiliated and discredited above all because of the scandals and corruption of the leaders of the Hierarchy, which have been totally ignored even as the most ruthless Vatican authoritarianism raged against faithful priests and religious, small communities of traditional nuns, and communities tied to the Latin Mass.

This one-sided zeal is reminiscent of Cromwell’s fanaticism, typical of those who defy Providence in the presumption of knowing that they are finally at the top of the hierarchical pyramid, free to do and undo as they please without anyone objecting to anything. And this work of destruction, this willingness to renounce the salvation of souls in the name of a human peace that denies God is not an invention of Bergoglio, but the main (and unmentionable) purpose of those who used a Council to contradict the Catholic Magisterium and to begin to demolish the Church from within, in small steps, but always in a single direction, always with the indulgent tolerance or culpable inaction – if not the explicit approval – of the Roman authorities. The Catholic Church has been slowly but surely taken over, and Bergoglio has been given the task of making it a philanthropic agency, the “church of humanity, of inclusion, of the environment” at the service of the New World Order. But this is not the Catholic Church: it is her counterfeit.

The resignation of Benedict XVI and the appointment by the St. Gallen Mafia of a successor in line with the diktats of the Agenda 2030 was intended to allow – and has succeeded in allowing – the global coup to take place with the complicity and authoritative support of the Church of Rome. Bergoglio is to the Church what other world leaders are to their nations: traitors, subversives, and final liquidators of traditional society who are certain of impunity. Bergoglio’s defect of consent (vitiumconsensus) in accepting his election is based precisely on the evident alienityof his action of government and magisterium with respect to what any Catholic of any age expects from the Vicar of Christ and the Successor of the Prince of the Apostles. Everything that Bergoglio does constitutes an offense and a provocation to the entire Catholic Church, to her Saints of all times, to the Martyrs who were killed in odium Fidei, and to the Popes of all times until the Second Vatican Council.

This is also and principally an offense against the Divine Head of the Church, Our Lord Jesus Christ, Whose sacred authority Bergoglio claims to exercise for the detriment of the Mystical Body, with an action that is too systematic and coherent to appear to be the fruit of mere incapacity. In the work of Bergoglio and his circle, the Lord’s warning is put into practice: Beware of false prophets, who come to you in the guise of lambs, but who are ravenous wolves at heart (Mt 7:15). I am honored not to have – and indeed I do not want – any ecclesial communion with them: theirs is a lobby, which conceals its complicity with the masters of the world in order to deceive many souls and prevent any resistance against the establishment of the Kingdom of the Antichrist.

In the face of the Dicastery’s accusations, I claim, as Successor of the Apostles, to be in full communion with the Roman Catholic Apostolic Church, with the Magisterium of the Roman Pontiffs, and with the uninterrupted doctrinal, moral, and liturgical Tradition which they have faithfully preserved.

I repudiate the neomodernist errors inherent in the Second Vatican Council and in the so-called “post-conciliar magisterium,” in particular in matters of collegiality, ecumenism, religious freedom, the secularity of the State, and the liturgy.

I repudiate, reject, and condemn the scandals, errors, and heresies of Jorge Mario Bergoglio, who manifests an absolutely tyrannical management of power, exercised against the purpose that legitimizes Authority in the Church: an authority that is vicarious of that of Christ, and as such must obey Him alone. This separation of the Papacy from its legitimizing principle, which is Christ the High Priest, transforms the ministerium into a self-referential tyranny.

No Catholic worthy of the name can be in communion with this “Bergoglian church,” because it acts in clear discontinuity and rupture with all the Popes of history and with the Church of Christ.

Fifty years ago, in that same Palace of the Holy Office, Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre was summoned and accused of schism for rejecting Vatican II. His defense is mine; his words are mine; and his arguments are mine – arguments before which the Roman authorities could not condemn him for heresy, having to wait instead for him to consecrate bishops so as to have the pretext of declaring him schismatic and then revoking his excommunication when he was already dead. The scheme is repeated even after half a century has demonstrated Archbishop Lefebvre’s prophetic choice.

In these times of apostasy, Catholics will find in Pastors faithful to the mandate received from Our Lord an example and an encouragement to abide in the Truth of Christ.

Depositum custodi, according to the Apostle’s exhortation: as the time approaches when I will have to give an account to the Son of God of all my actions, I intend to persevere in thebonum certamen and not to fail in the witness of faith which is required of each one who, as Bishop, has been endowed with the fullness of the priesthood and constituted Successor of the Apostles.

I invite all Catholics to pray that the Lord will come to the aid of His Church and give courage to those who are persecuted for their Faith.

Professor Grillo: The first question contains numerous inaccuracies that undermine the very meaning of the question. I will try to illustrate them one by one. Those you call “traditionalists faithful to Rome” are actually people who, for various reasons, are at odds with Rome, and not in a relationship of fidelity. The point of contention does not simply concern a “ritual form” but a way of understanding relations inside and outside the Church. It all begins with the misunderstanding generated (in good faith, but through a completely wrong judgement) by the Motu Proprio Summorum Pontificum, which had introduced a “ritual parallelism” (between the Novus Ordo and Vetus Ordo) that has neither a systematic nor practical foundation: it is not theologically sound and generates greater divisions than those that were present previously. The idea of “fidelity to Rome” must be challenged: to be faithful to Rome, one must acquire a “ritual language” according to what Rome has communally established. One is not faithful if one has one foot in two shoes. Having demonstrated this contradiction, the merit of Traditionis Custodes is that it re-establishes the one “lex orandi” in force for the entire Catholic Church. If someone tells me he is faithful at the same time to the Novus Ordo and Vetus Ordo, I reply that he has not understood the meaning of tradition, within which there a legitimate and insuperable progress that is irreversible.

The grave necessity and healing value of reparation for your sins

There are two obstacles for receiving divine grace in your life: 1) a lack of prayer and sacrifice to obtain grace. 2) a lack of reparation for sins, which are impediments to receiving the divine blessing. Below you can learn the importance and healing power of reparation, and it only takes about 3 minutes to read.

After celebrating the gift of Christ in the Holy Eucharist, the Church turns our attention to His Sacred Heart. The prayer of the feast of the Sacred Heart refers to our obligation of offering God reparation for sin. What is reparation and why is it one of the most important things for you and your loved ones?

“If any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the just: And he is the expiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for those of the whole world. And by this we know that we have known him, if we keep his commandments. He who says that he knows him, and keeps not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. But he that keeps his word, in him in very deed the charity of God is perfected.” -1 John 2:1-5

Because of the fallen condition of the human race, everyone reading this message is a sinner. All of your loved ones, both living and deceased, are deeply affected by sin, both in this world and when they depart from it. Sin is your greatest problem, since it is the root cause of suffering, sadness, death, and eternal damnation, in addition to the offense that it offers to God. Therefore, the most important thing for you to do in your short life in this world is to: 1) Avoid all sin in the present and future, and… 2) Free yourself from the consequences of past sins. How can you free yourself or others from the consequences sins, even those that have been confessed and sacramentally absolved? By offering to God full reparation for them. Even after receiving forgiveness for sins, the damage from sins needs to be repaired, and this is the place of reparation. How can you offer reparation to God? Through works of charity and religion in union with Christ and His saving Cross. Therefore, you can rejoice to know that through Christ, you are able to offer atonement to God for the evils by which His goodness and holiness have been grievously offended, and by which you have damaged yourself and others. How can you accomplish this in your life?

“It is not enough to remove the arrow from the body. We also have to heal the wound caused by the arrow. It is the same with the soul; after we have received forgiveness for our sins, we have to heal the wound that remains through penance.” –Saint John Chrysostom (347-407 A.D.)

In His Sacrifice on the Cross, Christ Himself offered the fullness of expiation and atonement for your sins. However, you must be personally united with Christ in His work of salvation to participate in its fruits and effects in your soul and in your daily living. His sanctity and merits must be applied to you personally for reparation from your sins or to make reparation for the sins of others. In the Sacrifice of the Mass, we present to God the merit, satisfaction and reparation that Christ accomplished on the Cross, uniting to His work of charity and sacrifice ourselves and our own works. As the priest states at Mass, the Sacrifice is offered to God for persons “whose faith and devotion are known to [Him]”. By your works of faith (faith operates through charity, as St. Paul says) and devotion, you dispose yourself to more intimately and abundantly participate and communicate in the fruits of Christ’s Sacrifice, and thereby make reparation for sin. Concretely, what are the fundamental works of reparation that are most effective? Sacred Scripture authoritatively tells us:  Prayer “And the prayer of faith shall save the sick man: and the Lord shall raise him up: and if he be in sins, they shall be forgiven him.” – James 5:15 Fasting “Prayer is good with fasting and alms more than to lay up treasures of gold.” – Tobit 12:8 Almsgiving “Thy prayers and thy alms are ascended for a memorial in the sight of God.” – Acts 10:4 Penance “Do penance…for the remission of your sins: and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit…Save yourselves from this perverse generation.” – Acts 2:38,40 Charity “Purifying your souls in the obedience of charity, with a brotherly love, from a sincere heart love one another earnestly…for charity covers a multitude of sins” – 1 Peter 1:22,4:8 What if you think that you cannot do these things, or that you cannot do them enough to offer adequate reparation for sins? You should have recourse to others to offer an abundance of those works of reparation. This is because the different members of the Body of Christ, the Church, depend upon one another in their spiritual needs, just as the different organs and parts of the body depend on one another for their specific functions contributing to the life and vitality of the whole.

“I came not to call the just, but sinners to penance…unless you do penance, you shall perish.” -Luke 5:32,13:3

One o the most interesting things about secular leftists is their terrible fear that people who disagree with them will use coercion or force. But actually, if you look at secular left regimes throughout history, it’s the secular leftists who love to resort to coercion and even violence to force people who disagree with them into silence or compliance or worse.

Here’s the latest article from Christopher Rufo, writing for City Journal, the journal of the center-right Manhattan Institute.

He writes:

A few years ago, Texas Children’s Hospital made no secret of its support for transgender medicine. Its doctors proudly administered puberty blockers, cross-sex hormones, and other medical interventions to children who self-identified as “trans.”

Then the tone shifted. In the face of public pressure, CEO Mark Wallace announced that he was shutting down the child gender clinic. But doctors at the hospital, including Richard Ogden Roberts, David Paul, and Kristy Rialon, never stopped.

The public would not have known if not for a courageous surgeon, Eithan Haim, who felt morally obligated to expose the subterfuge. He contacted me about how the hospital had lied about terminating the transgender medicine program, and that doctors were, in fact, continuing to perform sex-change procedures on children as young as 11.

The story rocketed across the world. The hospital immediately went on the defensive. Within a week, Texas legislators passed a bill confirming that transgender medical procedures for minors were illegal.

But the story also attracted attention from another powerful source: federal prosecutors. The Department of Justice has not shied from targeting political opponents of the Biden administration: former President Trump; conservative school board protesters; persons praying outside of abortion clinics; and now, doctors who dissent from transgender ideology.

On the morning in June 2023 that Haim was to graduate from Texas Children Hospital’s residency program, federal agents knocked on his door. They had identified him as a potential “leaker,” presumably through forensic examination of the hospital’s computer systems. Shortly thereafter, Assistant U.S. Attorney Tina Ansari began threatening Haim with prosecution.

Now, Ansari has made good on those threats. Earlier this week, U.S. marshals appeared at Haim’s home and summoned him to court to face an indictment on four felony counts of violating HIPAA. His initial appearance is next Monday, where he will learn more about the charges against him.

It’s important for Christians and conservatives to understand that secular leftists are not just Christians with the God removed. They have no rational foundation for free will. They have no rational foundation for objective morality. And they have no rational basis for human rights, like religious liberty. When their will to power runs up against your conscience, then anything is possible…
