Catholic Church loots US taxpayers BILLIONS while Marxist bishops enjoy staying closed

“We don’t care if you want the sacraments. We don’t want you all up in our grill, and we are getting paid to stay shut down anyway. Go watch Mass on your computer. We dispensed you, you filthy petri dish.”

I’m paraphrasing, of course.

The reportage from AP goes on to state that it’s almost certain the payouts exceeded $3.5B, in reality.

Full article HERE. Note that FedGov did not release the names of any grantees who asked for less than $150K. There are surely oodles more of those. So even the $3.5B is an underestimate.

Because the Catholic Church surely qualifies as a “Small Business,” you know.

This is not going to go over well with the general population, folks. Not at all.

“There will be a complete organization—a church of Satan set up in opposition to the Church of Christ. Satan will assume the part of God the Father; Antichrist will be honored as Saviour, and his prophet will usurp the role of Pope. Their ceremonies will counterfeit the Sacraments…”

~CHAPTER XIII~ ANTICHRIST AND HIS PROPHET Apocalypse Ch. XIII

Antichrist could not accomplish his nefarious work without disciples and followers. Hence the beast may be taken by extension to represent the whole empire of Antichrist. Nevertheless it is certain and, in fact, Suarez holds it as an article of faith, that Antichrist is a definite individual. The words of St. Paul to the Thessalonians leave no room for doubt in this matter (2 Thess. 2:3-9).

It is a very general opinion that Antichrist will set himself up as the Messias. This opinion seems to be supported by the words of our Saviour: “I am come in the name of my Father, and you receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him you will receive” (Jn. 5:43; see also 1 Jn. 2:18). The coming of Antichrist opens the decisive conflict between the Church and the powers of hell. It shall be the complete realization of the prophecy of Genesis: “I will put enmities between thee and the woman and thy seed and her seed” (Gen. 3:15). The seed of the serpent is Antichrist and his followers; the seed of Mary, the woman, is Jesus Christ and His faithful disciples.

Through the power of Satan, Antichrist will perform great wonders to deceive the people and lead them to accept him as the true Messias. St. Paul says that the coming of Antichrist will be “according to the working of Satan, in all power, and signs, and lying wonders” (2 Thess. 2:9). Our Lord also warns the faithful of false miracles in those days: “For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall show signs and wonders insomuch as to deceive (if possible) even the elect. Behold I have told it to you beforehand” (Matt. 24:24-25).

Those who adore Antichrist on account of his “lying wonders” thereby adore Satan who gives the power to perform them. Power and material prosperity are the rewards for those who serve him as the devil signified to Christ on the mountain: “All these (kingdoms) will I give to thee, if falling down thou wilt adore me” (Matt. 4:9). Antichrist accepts this infamous bargain and receives the empire of the world—“Who shall be able to fight against him?”

During this time he will pour out blasphemies against God and against the Blessed Sacrament of the altar (the tabernacle of God). He will also malign and vilify those who remain faithful to God and to His Church. He will be given power to wage war against the Church and to overcome it for a time. He shall rule over many nations and many peoples will adore him: his kingdom shall have the semblance of catholicity or universality. This is the great revolt of the nations foretold by St. Paul (2 Thess. 2:3), but it shall not be truly universal; one nation, at least, shall remain faithful to the Church in those days, and the elect whose names are written in the book of life will not adore Antichrist.

Antichrist and his followers, at first victorious, shall soon be overcome and destroyed. As they have meted out to others, it shall be measured unto them (Matt. 7:2). They who have led the faithful into captivity and put them to death, shall themselves be made captives and put to the sword. Hence the faithful must suffer in patience with full confidence of victory.

The beast arising from the earth is a false prophet—the prophet of Antichrist. Our divine Saviour has a representative on earth in the person of the Pope upon whom He has conferred full powers to teach and govern. Likewise, Antichrist will have his representative in the false prophet who will be endowed with the plenitude of satanic powers to deceive the nations.

The “abomination of desolation” has been wrought in many Catholic churches by heretics and apostates who have broken altars, scattered the relics of martyrs and desecrated the Blessed Sacrament. At the time of the French Revolution, a lewd woman was seated upon the altar of the cathedral in Paris and worshipped as the goddess of reason. Such things but faintly foreshadow the abominations that will desecrate churches in those sorrowful days when Antichrist will seat himself at the altar to be adored as God. 13-15. The prophet, of course, shall have power to perform the wonderful works of his master. Among other prodigies, he will bring down fire from heaven, probably to offset the preaching and miracles of Elias, and thus seduce great numbers. He will also have statues of Antichrist erected to be adored by those whom he has seduced. These statues will give out oracles as did those of ancient paganism. In fact, the reign of Antichrist and his prophet will be a veritable renewal of paganism throughout the world.

The followers of Antichrist will be marked with a character in imitation of the sign that St. John saw upon the foreheads of the servants of God. This indicates that Antichrist and his prophet will introduce ceremonies to imitate the Sacraments of the Church.

In fact, there will be a complete organization—a church of Satan set up in opposition to the Church of Christ. Satan will assume the part of God the Father; Antichrist will be honored as Saviour, and his prophet will usurp the role of Pope. Their ceremonies will counterfeit the Sacraments and their works of magic be heralded as miracles.

None could buy or sell without the contamination of pagan worship. (Catholic Library, Archeology Series, Vol. IV., p. 123.) In the days of Antichrist, the false prophet will adopt similar tactics to accomplish the downfall of the faithful. No one will be able to buy or sell the necessities of life without implicating himself in the worship of Antichrist…

“The Church deprived of her chief pastor must seek sanctuary in solitude there to be guided by God Himself”

~CHAPTER XII~ CONFLICT BETWEEN THE CHURCH AND SATAN Apocalypse Ch. XII

It shall be war unto death, between the Church and the powers of darkness, in a final effort of Satan to destroy the Church and thus prevent the universal reign of Christ on earth.

Satan will first attempt to destroy the power of the Papacy and bring about the downfall of the Church through heresies, schisms and persecutions that must surely follow. Failing in this, he will then attack the Church from without. For this purpose, he will raise up Antichrist and his prophet to lead the faithful into error and destroy those who remain steadfast.

The Church is ever in labor to bring forth children to eternal life. In the sad days here predicted, the sorrows and pains of delivery shall be increased many-fold. In this passage, there is an evident allusion to some particular son of the Church whose power and influence shall be such that Satan will seek his destruction at any cost. This person can be none other than the Pope to be elected in those days. The Papacy will be attacked by all the powers of hell. In consequence, the Church will suffer great trials and afflictions in securing a successor upon the throne of Peter. The words of St. Paul to the Thessalonians may be a reference to the Papacy as the obstacle to the coming of Antichrist:You know what withholdeth, that he may be revealed in his time. For the mystery of iniquity already worketh; only that he who now holdeth, do hold, until he be taken out of the way. And then that wicked one shall be revealed” (2 Thess. 2: 6-7).

The tail of the dragon represents the cunning hypocrisy with which he succeeds in deceiving a large number of people and pastors… Arianism led away many bishops, priests and peoples. The pretended Reformation of the sixteenth century claimed still larger numbers but these cannot be compared to the numbers seduced by Satan in the days of Antichrist. The dragon stands before the woman ready to devour the child that is brought forth. In other words, the powers of hell seek by all means to destroy the Pope elected in those days.

The woman brings forth a son to rule the nations with a rod of iron. These are the identical words of prophecy uttered by the Psalmist concerning our Saviour Jesus Christ (Ps. 2:9).They confirm our application of this vision to the Pope, the vicar of Christ on earth to rule the nations in His stead and by His power. It is now the hour for the powers of darkness. The new-born Son of the Church is taken “to God and to His throne.” Scarcely has the newly elected Pope been enthroned when he is snatched away by martyrdom. The “mystery of iniquity,” gradually developing through the centuries, cannot be fully consummated while the power of the Papacy endures, but now he that “withholdeth is taken out of the way.” During the interregnum, “that wicked one shall be revealed” in his fury against the Church.

It is a matter of history that the most disastrous periods for the Church were times when the Papal throne was vacant, or when anti-popes contended with the legitimate head of the Church. Thus also shall it be in those evil days to come. The Church deprived of her chief pastor must seek sanctuary in solitude there to be guided by God Himself during those trying days.

Can someone skilled in basic arithmetic help me out with this one?

Here are today’s Arizona charts, right off their own website. azdhs.gov

You’ve heard about the soaring infections and hospitalizations? The first chart shows the number of new hospitalizations per day.

Screenshot 2020-07-07 at 16.25.31

The peak was June 15, at 99 new corona admissions. You can see the rate has dropped since then; let’s say an average of 35 new corona admissions per day over the past three weeks.

But what about the total hospital numbers; aren’t we running out of beds? Keep in mind, every patient is being tested for corona, no matter what they are being admitted for. Most corona victims aren’t sick. Elective surgeries started back up six weeks ago, there was a huge backlog, and they haven’t stopped. Here are the total corona inpatient numbers:

Screenshot 2020-07-07 at 16.24.22

We see the numbers ticking up, more or less in line with that average of 35 new admissions per day, right? Small discrepancies are okay, because this chart is a live look each day, while the first chart plots the data back to the admission date, not the date it was reported. So all this seems to jive, right?

Not so fast.

Do you want to see a really steep spike? Check out the discharge numbers:

Screenshot 2020-07-07 at 16.27.18

We are now averaging over 400 discharges PER DAY in the last week.

So if we average 35 new admissions per day…

And we subtract 400 discharges per day…

Why are the hospitalizations going up?

Hmmmm.

Review this handy timeline if you question the “experts”

April 16th seems so long ago, doesn’t it? That’s when I published this timeline. Now that three months have gone by, some of the items seem even more astonishing. If you still think there is nothing at all fishy about the goings on of 2020, have a look at this:

Handy timeline to track the lead-up to your captivity

Jan. 17: The CDC and the Department of Homeland Security announce that travelers into the U.S. from Wuhan will undergo new screening at several major airports.

Jan. 19: The WHO hedges somewhat: “Not enough is known to draw definitive conclusions about how it is transmitted, the clinical features of the disease, the extent to which it has spread, or its source, which remains unknown.”

Jan. 23: Vox publishes an article stating that travel bans to fight viruses “don’t work.” The article initially referred to the “Wuhan coronavirus,” before being edited weeks later. The article’s URL remains unchanged.

China seals off Wuhan, canceling plane, train and bus travel.

Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, says in a Journal of the American Medical Association podcast that the U.S. wouldn’t implement shutdowns of cities like what was occurring in China: “There’s no chance in the world that we could do that to Chicago or to New York or to San Francisco, but they’re doing it.  So, let’s see what happens.”

Jan. 24: Politico reports that the Trump administration held a briefing on the coronavirus for senators, but it was “sparsely attended” in part because it “was held on the same day as a deadline for senators to submit their impeachment questions.”

“The initial thought from the Dems, I think, is that we were trying to distract from impeachment,” a GOP Senate aide told Politico. The outlet added that a White House official “recalled feeling surprised at the ‘incredibly’ poor attendance, noting that it came ‘even though the amount of concern expressed then was rather intense.’”

Jan. 26: “The American people should not be worried or frightened by this. It’s a very, very low risk to the United States,” Fauci says on The CATS Roundtable. “It isn’t something that the American public needs to worry about or be frightened about.”

Jan. 27: The Biden campaign, including its top coronavirus adviser Ron Klain, praise China for being “transparent” and “candid.” Speaking to Axios, Klain asserts: “I think what you’d have to say about China is, it’s been more transparent and more candid than it has been during past outbreaks, though still there’s problems with transparency and candor.” Even as he says there were “many” areas in which China hasn’t been transparent, Klain asserts that China had helpfully released a “sequence of the virus.” Klain goes on to say there isn’t “any reason” for anyone to postpone essential travel to anywhere except the Wuhan area.

Jan. 28: Three days before Trump closes off most travel from China, Klain says he opposes that measure.

Jan. 30: The WHO declares a global health emergency, and the State Department issues advisories against traveling to China.

Jan. 31: Trump issues the “Proclamation on Suspension of Entry as Immigrants and Nonimmigrants of Persons who Pose a Risk of Transmitting 2019 Novel Coronavirus.”

NOTE: HERE COMES THE PIVOT TO ORANGE MAN RACIST

Later in the day, Biden campaigns in Iowa and tells the crowd that Americans “need to have a president who they can trust what he says about it, that he is going to act rationally about it. … This is no time for Donald Trump’s record of hysteria and xenophobia – hysterical xenophobia – and fearmongering to lead the way instead of science.”

Also in the wake of the ban on Jan. 31:

  • An article in The New York Times quotes epidemiologist Dr. Michael Osterholm as saying that Trump’s decision to restrict travel from China was “more of an emotional or political reaction.”
  • The Washington Post runs a story quoting a Chinese official asking for “empathy” and slamming the White House for acting “in disregard of WHO recommendation against travel restrictions.”
  • Vox tweets: “Is this going to be a deadly pandemic? No.” The tweet was deleted weeks later.
  • Canada’s health minister Patty Hajdu, who would later say there was no reason to doubt Chinese coronavirus data, says the risk of the virus is “low” and that early-warning systems are working “exactly as they should.” The “spread of the disease is contained,” Hajdu claimed.

Feb. 2: “There’s a virus that has infected 15 million Americans across the country and killed more than 8,200 people this season alone,” CNN tweets. “It’s not a new pandemic — it’s influenza.”

New York City Health Commissioner Oxiris Barbot  tweets: “As we gear up to celebrate the #LunarNewYear in NYC, I want to assure New Yorkers that there is no reason for anyone to change their holiday plans, avoid the subway, or certain parts of the city because of #coronavirus.”

Feb. 5: The Senate acquits Trump on two counts of impeachment, in a widely expected result that dominated journalists’ and politicians’ attention for months.

Feb. 7: Barbot strikes again, assuring residents, “We’re telling New Yorkers, go about your lives, take the subway, go out, enjoy life.” City lawmakers have called for Barbot to be fired because of the comments.

Feb. 9: Mark Levine, the chair of New York City Council health committee and a Democrat, tweets: “In powerful show of defiance of #coronavirus scare, huge crowds gathering in NYC’s Chinatown for ceremony ahead of annual #LunarNewYear parade. Chants of ‘be strong Wuhan!’ If you are staying away, you are missing out!”

Feb. 11: Klain, the Biden adviser, remarks that the evidence “suggests” the coronavirus won’t be a “serious pandemic.”https://www.youtube.com/embed/h8KZ3F7JwT0

Feb. 13: “There are ZERO confirmed cases of coronavirus in New York City, and hundreds of Chinese restaurants that need your business!” the New York City mayor’s office tweets. “There is nothing to fear. Stop by any Chinatown for lunch or dinner!”

Feb. 17: Fauci announces that the risk of coronavirus infection in the U.S. is “miniscule,” according to USA Today. Fauci, one of the top experts in the field and a senior White House coronavirus adviser, also told the paper that people shouldn’t wear masks unless they are contagious. (By April 3, Fauci appeared to endorse national stay-at-home orders.)

Feb. 24: “It’s exciting to be here, especially at this time, to be able to be unified with our community,” House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., tells reporters as she visits San Francisco’s Chinatown. “We want to be vigilant about what is out there in other places. We want to be careful about how we deal with it, but we do want to say to people ‘Come to Chinatown, here we are — we’re, again, careful, safe — and come join us.’”

Also on Feb. 24, the White House submits a request to Congress for $2.5 billion in supplemental spending to help combat the coronavirus outbreak. The request includes $1.25 billion in new money, with the rest coming from unspent funds.

Mar. 2: “Since I’m encouraging New Yorkers to go on with your lives + get out on the town despite Coronavirus, I thought I would offer some suggestions,” New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio tweets.

UM, YEAH. MARCH 2nd. GET OUT ON THE TOWN, Y’ALL. TWEET STILL NOT DELETED:

Mar. 4: Barbot, the top New York City health official, declares, “There’s no indication that being in a car, being in the subways with someone who’s potentially sick is a risk factor.”

On CNN, Anderson Cooper and Dr. Sanjay Gupta downplay the virus.

“The flu right now is far deadlier,” Cooper says. “So if you’re freaked out at all about the coronavirus you should be more concerned about the flu, and you can actually do something about it, and get a flu shot.”

“15,000 people roughly have already died of the flu this season,” Gupta responded. “Couple years ago, 60,000 people died of the flu.”

Mar. 9: At a Fox News town hall, Bernie Sanders says he would not close the border, even if it were necessary to halt the spread of coronavirus. He then attacked Trump’s “xenophobia.”

Also on this day, Fauci remarks that going to campaign rallies may not be a bad idea: “You know, I can’t comment on campaign rallies. It really depends. We are having as we all said — this is something in motion. This is an evolving thing. So I’m not sure what we’re going to be able to say at the time we’re going to have a campaign rally. If you’re talking about a campaign rally tomorrow, in a place where there is no community spread, I think the judgment to have it might be a good judgment. [But] if you want to talk about large gatherings in a place you have community spread, I think that’s a judgment call, and if someone decides they want to cancel it, I wouldn’t publicly  criticize them.”

Now ask yourself, dear reader, what exactly happened beginning March 10th, such that we completely closed down the country three days later? What could have happened? What did they suddenly tell the leaders of all the sports leagues, NCAA, mayors of major cities, etc, to get them all to agree to shut everything down on the same day? Getting the feeling that gaslighting might be involved? Are you getting mad enough to actually take five minutes and write to your governor, congressman, and senators? It won’t do any good, but at least you will have done it.

“Rome shall apostatize from the faith, drive away the Vicar of Christ, and return to its ancient paganism.”

Full cross-post from Barnhardt.biz

Term of the day: “PARTIBUS INFIDELIUM”

“Considering the special Divine Providence, and its manifestation in the past, with regard to the Holy See, the destruction of the Bishopric of Rome is indeed most improbable in the future. Still, it is an event within the sphere of possibility, and there does not appear to be any such certain, positive, and absolute guarantee for its perpetual per permanence as there is for that of the Catholic Church itself. Hence, theologians have supposed the extreme case of the extinction both of the city and See of Rome; and here their opinions are divided.

Some think that the Pope would then be bound to content himself with the title, together with the right of ruling the Roman See, should it be again revived much the same as in the case of titular bishops in partibus infidelium ; and that this would suffice for the actual succession of the Roman Pontiffs, as such, to the Primacy, since the title and right would still survive: so that whoever succeeded thereto would, as S. Peter s legitimate successor, have the Primacy over the universal Church. Other theologians incline to hold that, in such a case, a transfer of the Primacy to another See that the Pope might choose would be within the rights of the Vicar of Jesus Christ.”

-Rev. Thomas Livius C.SS.R., St. Peter, Bishop of Rome, or the Roman episcopate of the Prince of the Apostles proved from the Fathers, history and archeology, (London: Burns and Oates, 1888, pg 284)

-All we need is a title and the right ✓
-this is the bare minimum for the actual succession, as the title and the right alone would survive ✓
-it would be as in the case of titular bishops in partibus infidelium ✓

Now let’s look at partibus infidelium.

Partibus infidelium, as per Merriam-Webster dictionary – “in the regions of the infidels” —used in a bishop’s title after the name of a diocese conquered by a power of another faith.

Shut the front door! Are you telling me that in case of pope splitting the papacy, he would still rule with the title and the right that would survive, as if he were in a diocese conquered by a power of another faith?

But get this, cardinal Manning is not shying away from a money quote for our times either:

“The writers of the Church tell us that in the latter days the city of Rome will probably become apostate from the Church and Vicar of Jesus Christ; and that Rome will again be punished, for he will depart from it; and the judgment of God will fall on the place from which he once reigned over the nations of the world. For what is it that makes Rome sacred, but the presence of the Vicar of Jesus Christ? What has it that should be dear in the sight of God, save only the presence of the Vicar of His Son ? Let the Church of Christ depart from Rome, and Rome will be no more in the eyes of God than Jerusalem of old. Jerusalem, the Holy City, chosen by God, was cast down and consumed by fire, because it crucified the Lord of Glory; and the city of Rome, which has been the seat of the Vicar of Jesus Christ for eighteen hundred years, if it become apostate, like Jerusalem of old, will suffer a like condemnation. And, therefore, the writers of the Church tell us that the city of Rome has no prerogative except only that the Vicar of Christ is there ; and if it become unfaithful, the same judgments which fell on Jerusalem, hallowed though it was by the presence of the Son of God, of the Master, and not the disciple only, shall fall likewise upon Rome.

The apostasy of the city of Rome from the Vicar of Christ, and its destruction by Antichrist, may be thoughts so new to many Catholics, that I think it well to recite the text of theologians in the greatest repute. First, Malvenda, who writes expressly on the subject, states as the opinion of Ribera, Gaspar Melus, Viegas, Suarez, Bellarmine, and Bosius, that Rome shall apostatise from the faith, drive away the Vicar of Christ, and return to its ancient paganism.* Malvenda’s words are: “But Rome itself in the last times of the world will return to its ancient idolatry, power, and imperial greatness. It will cast out its Pontiff, altogether apostatise from the Christian faith, terribly persecute the Church, shed the blood of martyrs more cruelly than ever, and will recover its former state of abundant wealth, or even greater than it had under its first rulers.”

Henry Edward Cardinal Manning, “The Present Crisis of the Holy See”, 1861, pg 87-88

Now let’s see the head count here:

-Rome apostatised from the faith ✓
-Rome drove away the Vicar of the Christ ✓
-Rome returned to ancient paganism ✓

City of Fraternal Charity extends lockdown to August 1st… because?

Philadelphia, my native place. Everyone was finally gearing up for a broader opening, “Green Phase,” with restaurants opening their dining rooms, gyms opening, etc, scheduled for today. Then on Tuesday the city health commish said, “We have a spike! We can’t open until August 1st.”

Don’t get me wrong, there are going to be “spikes,” because now all “suspected” cases are being counted in the actuals. Not only that, but now that contact tracing is kicking in, you get counted as “suspected” even if you have no symptoms, have never been tested, but simply were in the same room with a “probable” case. You do understand where this is going, right? Oh, did I mention that most everyone who really does have the corona really has few or no symptoms, that it is a weak cold virus for the most part. Oh, and that thing about the CDC admitting tens of millions more people have already had it and didn’t know it. So expect them to continue to focus on case counts, because the real problem for the scammers from here on out will be the plummeting death counts.

As for Philly, you’re not going to believe the justification for further lockdown. Here is the data from the city’s own website. Draw your own conclusions. First up are test results; negatives in blue, positives in orange. Next are hospitalizations, and lastly deaths. Let me know if your eagle eye spots any trends.

Feast of the Visitation and your duty toward Fraternal Charity

Happy feast!

The Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary is the Second Joyful Mystery of the Rosary. Fruit of the mystery is Fraternal Charity.

How often do we fail at this? Have we failed more often during the Corona? I know I have.

Have we let habits sneak into our lives which weaken our bearing towards fraternal charity? Have you noticed that social media is hugely problematic in this area? Have you noticed that twitter turns people into raging fonts of rancor? It’s not good.

Take a few minutes to critically evaluate the changes in your life the past four months of captivity. Root out the bad stuff and figure a way back toward spiritual progress. I’ve been lucky in my diocese to enjoy continual access to the sacraments. I know others are much less fortunate.

But God isn’t hindered by any of this. God will provide, if you allow him to work within you. He just needs a little cooperation.
