Starting tomorrow, Biden to begin releasing thousands of “migrants” with no way to track them
After more than 11,000 migrants were caught crossing the southern border on Tuesday, the Biden administration is now preparing a memo that will direct Customs and Border Protection to begin releasing migrants into the U.S. without court dates or the ability to track them, according to three sources familiar with the plans.
The Biden administration began releasing migrants without court dates to alleviate overcrowding in March 2021, but had previously enrolled those migrants in a program known as Alternatives to Detention, which required them to check in on a mobile app until they were eventually given a court date. The new policy would release them on “parole” with a notice to report to an Immigration and Customs Enforcement office but without enrolling them in the program.
The more than 11,000 border apprehensions in a single day is a record and surpasses expectations of 10,000 per day predicted by Department of Homeland Security officials on what could come when Covid restrictions lift late Thursday.
“We’re already breaking and we haven’t hit the starting line,” one DHS official told NBC News, speaking on the condition of anonymity because the person isn’t authorized to talk to the media…

For a little pick me up, enjoy the April sales figures for Bud Light
Update: Someone took offense to improper pronouns in this article, so I made corrections…
Bud Light’s sales drop is accelerating amid Dylan Mulvaney fiasco — and is now spilling into other Bud brands
Bud Light’s downward spiral has accelerated in the wake of the Dylan Mulvaney debacle — and the carnage has begun to spill into Anheuser-Busch’s other mega-buck brands, The Post has learned.
Nationwide retail sales of Bud Light were down 23.4% versus a year ago in the week of April 29 — worse than the 21.4% decline it suffered a week earlier, according to Bump Williams Consulting and NielsenIQ data.
Meanwhile, as beer drinkers discover how many other beer brands fall under the Anheuser-Busch umbrella, the backlash is widening, according to the fresh data.
The company’s flagship Budweiser brand took an 11.4% sales hit for the week ended April 29.
Sales of Bud’s Michelob Ultra brand — the third-biggest-selling in the US behind No. 1 Bud Light and No. 2 Modelo Especial — were down 4.4%, according to Bump Williams data.
“It’s not just a Bud Light issue,” said Bump Williams, chief executive of the consultancy.
“It’s an Anheuser-Busch portfolio problem now.”
Anheuser-Busch’s smaller US brands also got dinged, with its Natural Light brand down 5.2% and its Busch Light seeing a 1.8% drop.
The widening sales declines mark a painful hit for Bud’s dominant US beer business.
Last year, sales of Bud Light topped $4.8 billion, according to the Connecticut-based firm.
“If Bud Light doesn’t fix its trend by the end of this month, it will continue to lose market share because it will lose Memorial Day. That kicks off the summer season,” Williams told The Post. “There has to be a sense of urgency for InBev to correct these trends.”
It’s the fourth consecutive week of double-digit sales drops linked to Anheuser-Busch’s brief marketing tie-up with the transgender influencer, which began on April 1 when Mulvaney posted videos of himself sitting in a bubble bath drinking Bud Light.
“Anecdotally we are hearing that sales of Bud Light are declining more rapidly at bars and restaurants where some consumers don’t want to be seen drinking it or they are getting into arguments over the brand,” said Benj Steinman, editor of Beer Marketer’s Insights.
Rival brewers, meanwhile, are gaining market share at Bud Light’s expense.
Coors Light and Miller Light each saw a more than 20% sales increase in the week ended April 29 compared to a year ago, according to Bump Williams and Nielsen data.
Pabst Blue Ribbon was up 18.9% while Keystone Light saw a 15% bump over the same period.
The shocking collapse of the nation’s No. 1 beer, which is experiencing one of the most emotionally charged boycotts ever, shows no signs of letting up even as Anheuser-Busch chief executive, Michel Doukeris tries to distance the company from the ill-fated Mulvaney partnership.
“We need to clarify the facts that this was one can, one influencer, one post, and not a campaign,” Doukeris told investors during an earnings call last week.

Indicted FTX founder Sam Bankman-Fried urges court to toss charges
Sam Bankman-Fried, who has long denied stealing from customers of his FTX cryptocurrency exchange, on Monday said prosecutors charged him with “troubling” haste and asked a U.S. judge to throw out 10 of the 13 criminal counts against him.
In a filing in Manhattan federal court, Bankman-Fried’s lawyers said now-bankrupt FTX was far from the only cryptocurrency company to collapse during a broad market crash in 2022, and that prosecutors hastily charged their client in a “rush to judgment.”
“Rather than wait for traditional civil and regulatory processes following their ordinary course to address the situation, the Government jumped in with both feet, improperly seeking to turn these civil and regulatory issues into federal crimes,” his lawyers wrote.
Bankman-Fried, a 31-year-old former billionaire, rode a boom in bitcoin and other digital assets to accumulate an estimated net worth of $26 billion, and became an influential political and philanthropic donor before FTX declared bankruptcy in November.
He has pleaded not guilty to fraud and conspiracy.
The exchange imploded after a flurry of customer withdrawals in the wake of reports it had commingled assets with Alameda Research, Bankman-Fried’s crypto-focused hedge fund.
Federal prosecutors in Manhattan said Bankman-Fried misled FTX investors and lenders, and stole billions of dollars in customer funds to plug losses at Alameda, buy real estate, and make political contributions through an illegal straw-donor scheme. They have also charged him with bribing Chinese officials…

Things we gained in the fire
Things We Lost in the Fire
As seen in the picture I took above, I visited the new Immaculata Church in Kansas. The new $42M Church was consecrated (dedicated to God) on the third of May, 2023.
The Immaculata was built by the SSPX. They are canonically-irregular but not schismatic. Remember that in 2009 Pope Benedict XVI lifted the putative-excommunications previously placed on their bishops. Even the current Vatican recognizes all their Masses as valid, and even all their confessions as both valid and licit. Although I have no desire (nor intention) to leave my Archdiocese and apply to the SSPX, I very much admire their adherence to keeping the ancient Catholic faith during this time of near-global apostasy. (As I replied on Facebook earlier to a concerned reader, “A Franciscan visiting a Dominican Church in the Middle-Ages doesn’t automatically make him a Dominican.”)
Recently, I was on Dr. Taylor Marshall’s show and we discussed the Jesuits. We both agreed there was some type of missionary-spirit shared by both St. Ignatius and Archbishop Lefebvre. Upon arrival at St. Mary’s College in Kansas, I was immediately reminded of my own Jesuit education since this University/Seminary used to be owned by the Jesuits. The new Immaculata Church book describes the history of these Jesuits in Kansas, their University and even the old Immaculata Church:
The Jesuits established a liberal arts college in 1869. The campus also housed a boy’s high school and a girl’s school run by the sisters of the Sacred Heart until it closed in 1879… In 1931, the beloved and renowned St. Mary’s College closed its doors as a liberal arts school but re-opened in the fall as a Jesuit theologate where seminarians from throughout the country and across the world came to St. Mary’s to finish the final two years of their fourteen-year course of study… The old Immaculata now served as the Jesuit chapel and witnessed the ordination of 1,000 priests.
The history of St. Mary’s continues: Vocations flagged after the Second Vatican Council. Consequently, the Jesuits transferred the theologate [seminary] back to St. Louis, Missouri, in 1967… Ironically, the revolution in the Church that closed the Immaculata also led to its rebirth as a place of Catholic tradition…[In 1978], Archbishop Lefebvre agreed to acquire “the college” solely because of the “magnificent Church” Within months of the purchase—to the shock of all—the Immaculata, almost fully restored, caught fire due to an electrical short. The blaze gutted the interior, leaving only a limestone shell and a partial bell tower. SSPX faithful worked for decades to restore the “symbol,” but to no avail. Archbishop Lefebvre later recalled that he “would never have accepted the purchase of St. Mary’s without this magnificent sanctuary. The fire was a true catastrophe, a stroke of the devil.”
The burning of the original Immaculata Church in Kansas in the 1970s represents, in some sense, the Church at-large as seen in the above statistics. Hence, I call this blog post, “Things We Lost in the Fire,” in reference to a small but sturdy Church in St. Mary’s, but also due to all “the changes” that gutted the Catholic Church on every continent in the world during and after the 1960s.
What then was rebuilt in St. Mary’s the past few years and opening this year of Our Lord 2023?
Here’s some pictures I took that may tell part of the story of the return of the glory to the Church:
As I always say, I hope Jesus returns soon -or- I hope we soon see the Triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, as prophesied by Our Lady of Fatima, leading to a time of peace in the Church. A clue to this comes from Our Lady of Good Success who prophesied in the 16th century that after the 20th century would come “a complete restoration of the Church.” Notice that such a restoration predicted in the 16th century means that (in the rarely-used future perfect tense) something will have been lost that will be regained after the 20th century.
So, instead of bemoaning the near-total loss, the SSPX built an enormous temple in which the faithful can worship God and honor Our Lady under the title of The Immaculata. I can’t help but think this Church is a cameo of the coming Triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary. Whereas we lost so many things in the fire of the 1960s onwards (to even this continued-destruction of the faith and liturgy, as anyone who even makes a cursory glance at recent Vatican news can see) we nevertheless have the promise of a “complete restoration.”
Mary has always been described as the exemplar of the Catholic Church. Mary is everything that the Catholic Church on earth wants to become: Sinless, glorious, and in-heaven. That is why it’s fitting that the theme of the Immaculata in Kansas is Mary and the Apocalypse. Of course, when you read the word, “Apocalypse” you may think of raging in hell or final battles on earth. That is definitely correct. But if you read the book of the Apocalypse, you will see that earth and hell are completely secondary to the vision of heaven. The book of the Apocalypse is primarily about heaven, not hell. And that is the single unifying theme of the Immaculata in St. Mary’s, Kansas: Mary as the portal to heaven and Mary as the exemplar to all the elect.
These are the two main themes to the new Immaculata Church and that new temple in Kansas is a portal into heaven.
The glory and beauty of this Church represents not just our hope heaven, but the hope we have of the Triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary for the entire Catholic Church at-large to return to Jesus Christ in lieu of modernism. This has been prophesied by Our Lady of Good Success to be “the complete restoration” of the Church. She exactly predicted a period of sacramental destruction in the 20th century, in fact. But after the fire, the Church would return with much greater glory than she ever had before that mutiny of modernism that tried to destroy her. Such, I believe, is already represented (and perhaps even predicted) in the glorious and new Immaculata Church of St. Mary’s, Kansas.

Pretend to the End
The creatures of the underworld running our country must think the public is awfully stupid. You are expected to take at face value the claim that “Joe Biden” is actually up for re-election. Could it be more obvious that he’s pretending? (Just as he’s been pretending to serve as CEO of our government.) Meanwhile, we are not supposed to notice that the entities behind him are scrambling to dismantle, demolish, and asset-strip what remains of the USA in body and spirit. But enough of us are noticing to make it a problem for them.
First, who are these entities? They are exactly who you think they are. What you see around you is not just a complex system (Western Civ) unwinding and breaking apart — though that is part of the story. It is also the appearance of a controlled demolition by desperate, frightened, and crazy people who want to be the ones left standing when the demolition is complete. The catch is, they are pretending, too. They are control-freaks who cannot keep things under control.
This power underworld is a coalition of large public and private organizations, here and out there in the world, and the folks in charge of them, and they are all out of control, too, pretending that their operations are coherent and efficacious. For instance, the vast consortium of intelligence agencies in our country, the CIA, DIA, ad nauseam, their multitudinous spin-offs, and their international partners (e.g., MI6, Mossad, the World Health Organization). If you want to see how they actually work, watch the Coen Brothers’ movie Burn After Reading. You will see a bustle of perfectly hapless, frantic, and insanely self-destructive activity performed by clueless clowns in nice business suits.
There is also the matrix of banking, including the international regulatory agencies such as the IMF, the World Bank, the Fed, the European Central Bank, and the banks themselves. And the bankers — Powell, LeGarde, Dimon, et. al — and the money managers, Fink, Soros, and their nefarious activities. They are all pretending to be in charge of a money system so burdened with fakery and legerdemain that it’s in the process of flying up the cosmic wazoo and vanishing, leaving Western Civ, functionally, broke.
My guess is that the nominal leader of this underworld in the USA — more like a master-of-ceremonies than an actual director — is Barack Obama. He has been running “Joe Biden” since the 2020 coup against Mr. Trump. The Clintons wanted to be in the mix somewhere, but it appears they’ve lost the fight for dominance — what with Bill in a perpetual doghouse and Hillary wearing that “loser” sign plastered on her back. For now, “Joe B” is a place-holder for the Party of Chaos. Who else have they got? Gavin Newsom? I’m sure. Hair and teeth only get you so far. Just wait until they roll the footage of San Francisco. Kamala Harris? Discussion unnecessary. Elizabeth Warren? (Grandma Oatmeal, we call her.) A bunch of governors no one has ever heard of? For now, they’ll just try ignoring RFK, Jr., since he wants to turn the Democratic Party upside-down and inside-out while rinsing it with Drano.
Who will they slot in when “Joe B” gets the hook? Michelle Obama, of course. Seems ridiculous, I know. (Actually, it’s completely ridiculous.) But our country has become so marinated in recycled products, celebrities, and narratives that Mr. Barack Obama (and cohorts) might just be bold enough to try it. Michelle is just another product at this point, like a can of Bud Lite, or a Hostess Ho-Ho, and that’s how they will try to sell her. The public’s collective mind has been successfully disordered to the degree that unreality no longer registers. If they pull this off, it will be Mr. Obama’s fourth term — and the coup-de-grace for the nation…

Derby Day: Looking back on an instructive display of cognitive dissonance
It’s Derby Day! You may remember last year’s Derby was quite remarkable, with Rich Strike, the longest of long shots, tearing down the stretch for the win. First, take a look at an aerial shot starting from the far turn:
Notice anything interesting, besides the unbelievable finish? Larry Collmus, the track announcer, who is presumably the best in the world at what he does, doesn’t see Rich Strike thundering down the rail, clearly in the open. Or rather, his eyes are taking in the information, but his intellect refuses to process the data, because it “does not compute.” His intellect says this can’t be happening, and ignores the data. This is known as Cognitive Dissonance.
Next, watch Collmus make the call. Video should be queued up to start at the top of the stretch. Watch as Rich Strike is fully neck and neck with Epicenter before Collmus finally comes to terms with reality, and calls his name for the first time. Then watch after the finish, as Collmus shows signs of physical disbelief over what he just witnessed:
And so it goes with those who think a raging heretic Argentinian usurper barreling down the Appian Way could possibly be the legitimate Pontiff of the Roman Catholic Church.
Somehow, they just can’t see it.
The Bergoglian Antipapacy is right there out in the open, upending doctrine as if such a thing could be done, spewing heresy on a near daily basis, and they just can’t see it. Now don’t get me wrong, there are plenty of people and prelates who DO see it, and choose to do nothing, which is far worse. But I’d say the multitude just can’t bring their intellect into conformity with the obvious, obvious, reality staring them in the face. Of course, the ’58 Sedes would say the same, which puts them more in the right than anyone who would cede authority and obedience to this demon worshipper in white.
But anyway, enjoy the Derby! Post time is 6:57pm Eastern, but coverage starts at Noon on NBC, or you can livestream it HERE.
