United Airlines CEO mandates vaccine for all employees, invites other corporate tyrants to join him

United Airlines’ CEO wants to make Covid-19 vaccines mandatory for employees and is encouraging other companies do the same.

“The worst thing that I believe I will ever do in my career is the letters that I have written to the surviving family members of coworkers that we have lost to the coronavirus,” CEO Scott Kirby said at an employee town hall Thursday, a transcript of which was reviewed by CNBC. “And so, for me, because I have confidence in the safety of the vaccine – and I recognize it’s controversial – I think the right thing to do is for United Airlines, and for other companies, to require the vaccines and to make them mandatory.”

“I don’t think United will get away with and can realistically be the only company that requires vaccines and makes them mandatory,” he said. “We need some others. We need some others to show leadership. Particularly in the healthcare industry.”

If you haven’t started preparing for what this is going to be like, now is a good time to start. Does your job entail any sort of air travel? How are you going to handle that? What about your own employer… will you be required to be injected? What is your plan?

Over 78,000 Facebook, Instagram Users Removed for QAnon, ‘Militarization’ Policy Violations

Facebook removed more than 78,000 profiles on both Facebook and Instagram, saying they had posted QAnon content and content related to “militarized social movements” since August 2020.

“We continue to strengthen our enforcement by identifying additional militarized social movements, new terms associated with QAnon and how people attempt to skirt our detection, including focusing more on Facebook profiles used to organize and promote these movements and groups on our platform,” Facebook said in an update on Jan. 19.

The company added that “these groups are constantly working to avoid our enforcement and we’ll continue to study how they evolve in order to keep people safe.”

Sights and sounds: Watching something difficult, done well, is so satisfying

Earphones/earbuds/EarPods required.

Ugh, Apple just autocorrected and capitalized EarPods. I didn’t write it that way, promise. Big Tech in your face! And let me just say, I think people wearing EarPods look ridiculous. There.

The video below is Bach’s Toccata and Fugue in D minor, long a favorite piece of mine. Written in the early 1700s (the date is disputed, as is its attribution to Bach), it was first popularized by Mendelssohn in the 19th Century, and was made famous in the Disney movie Fantasia in 1940. It is classified as abstract classical music. In other words, it isn’t sacred… it doesn’t mean anything, so to speak. So although it doesn’t have the same effect on the listener as might some of the more beautiful Mass settings, it’s still pretty cool.

Sidebar, there is a Philly connection here. Disney (warts and all) was a casual friend of Leopold Stokowski, long time Conductor of the Philadelphia Orchestra. The two had been planning a project where the music would be as important as the visuals. Originally planned as a short, it evolved into a full-length string of pieces, with music quality never-before heard on a recording. You see, Fantasia was the first movie ever released in stereo. This meant theaters had to install additional speakers and equipment to be eligible to show the movie; the surround sound experience of today traces directly back to this. The soundtrack was recorded at the Philadelphia Academy of Music, by the Philadelphia Orchestra, under the direction of Stokowski in April-May 1939. Stokowski worked with Disney’s engineers to place 33 microphones in the orchestra, feeding into eight distinct audio channels. Nothing like this had ever been done before. They marketed the end product as “moving sound,” latching on to the common term of the day, “moving picture.” https://books.google.com/books?id=NicDAAAAMBAJ&pg=PA65#v=onepage&q&f=false

In terms of sound quality, the acoustical mathematics of a venue make all the difference in the world. I can personally attest to the Stendahl-inducing capabilities of the Academy of Music. Sadly, the Orchestra abandoned this venue for the wretched Kimmel Center twenty years ago. But if you ever get the chance to hear a professional orchestra in a top notch venue, you absolutely should go, even if you know nothing of classical music. God built you for the experience.

Okay, back to the video. I like this version because the audio is excellent, of course, but also the visuals show the organist at work the entire time. Check out the coordination, concentration, effortless movement between the manuals while never taking his eyes off the sheet. It pains me that I’m not coordinated enough to juggle three tennis balls, let alone what this cat is up to.

The Toccata portion lasts for 2:30 and ends with a pedal solo and a D minor cord with a shot of the pipes. Then comes the Fugue, which builds into a four voice romp at 5:00 with footwork on point.

Some organists have said of this piece, “it’s not as hard as it looks.” Okay, whatever you say. Enjoy.

One hour after Biden takes office, WHO reverses guidance on PCR tests… might not diagnose corona at all

“Where test results do not correspond with the clinical presentation, a new specimen should be taken and retested using the same or different NAT technology…Most PCR assays are indicated as an aid for diagnosis, therefore, health care providers must consider any result in combination with timing of sampling, specimen type, assay specifics, clinical observations, patient history, confirmed status of any contacts, and epidemiological information.”

So much for the asymptomatic “cases.”

White House makes Inauguration video unlisted after getting ratioed 10:1 on downvotes

The most popular President in history had to hide his Inauguration video because it was getting crushed with downvotes and negative comments. It turns out that suitcases and semi-trailers full of late night ballots can’t help you be a youtube star.

More votes than Obama! Most votes evah! LANDSLIIIIIIDE.

I guess they had to leave it up in some form; it is the White House channel, after all. Couldn’t hide the downvotes, but they disabled comments (can you imagine), and made it unlisted, so it doesn’t show up in searches (you need the direct link in order to find it).

However, if you do search for it, youtube is there to assure you that Biden really truly honestly is Definitely President.

Did you hear about the riots last night? No, I bet you didn’t, because it was the protected class again.

Far-left activists vandalized buildings and clashed with police in the Pacific Northwest on Jan. 20, voicing their opposition to the government, law enforcement, and the freshly sworn-in President Joe Biden, with some carrying signs reading, “We are ungovernable.”

IPortland, black-clad activists with their faces covered broke windows and the glass door at the Democratic Party of Oregon business office, spray-painting an anarchist symbol over the party sign, video posted on social media showed. Some of them tipped over garbage containers and lit the contents on fire, according to reports.

“We don’t want Biden. We want revenge for police murders, imperialist wars, and fascist massacres,” read a banner they marched under, while others carried a banner saying, “We are not governable,” which was dotted with anarchy symbols. Portland Police confronted a crowd that gathered outside an Immigration and Customs Enforcement building near downtown, with some in the crowd later burning a flag in the street. According to KATU, the protest was billed as a demonstration against the Biden inauguration and law enforcement.

In SeattleAntifa activists marched into the iconic Pike Place Market to smash up property, with video from the scene showing broken windows in a Starbucks. A group of black-clad activists marched along the street, kicking over garbage containers, carrying a tattered American flag with the anarchy sign spray-painted on it. Some spray-painted buildings with an anarchist symbol and smashed windows, including at the William Kenzo Nakamura Courthouse, a federal building, according to KOMO.

“No Cops, Prisons, Borders, Presidents,” said one banner that they marched under, according to The New York Times.

Never Forget the Steal: 10:01pm 3 November 2020

When nearly every “ballot” that comes in after 8pm on election night goes to one candidate, you damn well better have a talking point for that

Originally posted on

On November 3rd, 2020, most of us went to bed fairly confident that everything was going well, perhaps even better than planned. The Florida landslide was astonishing, and it bode very well for the nation. On Wednesday morning, as Trump’s big lead had vanished overnight in most of the swing states, I heard three different commentators on three different fake news networks utter nearly identical narratives to describe was occurring. Here, let Wiki explain it:

It seemed strange to me, being no spring chicken, that I had never heard of such a thing. Yet every commentator and “election expert” was spouting this in strikingly similar terms, as if reading from a script. It’s settled election science! Moreover, there is zero chance this can be an established fact, because this is the first time a general election has been contested largely through mail-in ballots due to corona… which puts corona under even more scrutiny.

Now, wiki has this blockchain feature where you can go back in time and review every edit that was ever made to an article. See the “View history” button at the top right? Click on that, and it will show line by line every edit. Scroll down and click the link at bottom left that says “oldest.”

This will take you to the very beginning, the day the article was first created on wiki. Any guess as to when this “well established” political dynamic of Red Mirage/Blue Shift was first invented? How about 1 August 2020…

Just one more thing. Remember “14 Days to Flatten the Curve?” Remember how this was how they got everyone to shut everything down, go into lockdown, and start this entire spiral? “We have to follow the science, we can’t risk overwhelming the hospitals, this is well-established epidemiology, dammit, you’re just selfish and want to kill grandma.”

When do you think this well-established scientific fact was invented? How about 12 March 2020:

McConnell claims Trump fed lies to mob, provoked riot; NBC News op/ed says Trump needs to go to prison

WASHINGTON (AP) — Senate Republican leader Mitch McConnell on Tuesday explicitly blamed President Donald Trump for the deadly riot at the Capitol, saying the mob was “fed lies” and that the president and others “provoked” those intent on overturning Democrat Joe Biden’s election.

Ahead of Trump’s historic second impeachment trial, McConnell’s remarks were his most severe and public rebuke of the outgoing president. The GOP leader is setting a tone as Republicans weigh whether to convict Trump on the impeachment charge that will soon be sent over from the House: “incitement of insurrection.”

“The mob was fed lies,” McConnell said. “They were provoked by the president and other powerful people, and they tried to use fear and violence to stop a specific proceeding of the first branch of the federal government which they did not like.” https://apnews.com/article/mcconnell-trump-fed-lies-to-mob-36871d68df56a10be1c46ed364ad6de6

Sam Liccardo:  Trump’s second impeachment after Capitol riots isn’t enough. He needs to go to prison.

While the forces of decency, democracy and good government prevailed in this impeachment vote, we should ask what gain this battle has brought. A Senate debate will distract that body at a time when a new president critically needs it to confirm his Cabinet, and to approve a funding package to accelerate vaccinations and Covid-19 relief. Impeachment likely persuaded nobody; on all things Trumpian, it seems, virtually no American appears persuadable.

What is needed, rather, is criminal prosecution.

To deter the next unhinged narcissist from using the presidency to undermine the electoral process, a jury must convict Trump of his crimes. Trump previously suffered impeachment for deploying unlawful means to remain in power — using his office to leverage Ukraine to investigate then-Democratic opponent Joe Biden’s family. That impeachment did not deter Trump from abusing his power again, nor should we believe that this one will deter anyone else. A criminal conviction will.

By imposing a personal and direct punishment upon Trump, criminal prosecution will force future leaders to think twice about threatening that essential precondition of any functional republic: the peaceful transfer of power. It will unequivocally repudiate, once and for all, the Nixonian doctrine that “when the president does it … that means it’s not illegal.” If democracy depends on the “consent of the losers,” as some have put it, then the loser’s consent must be mandatory, and enforced by a punitive sanction. We cannot satisfy ourselves with the prosecution of the pelt-wearing members of the mob. Prosecuting only the puppets gives license to future puppet masters. https://www.nbcnews.com/think/opinion/trump-s-second-impeachment-after-capitol-riots-isn-t-enough-ncna1254697

Katie Couric is very concerned about your bizarre thoughts and wants you to be deprogrammed

Her thinking is echoed by tens of millions of your countrymen, all of whom want you dead or in prison. If this is what she thinks about elected officials in high office, just imagine what she thinks the proles deserve.

“It is so shocking. … Not only are they not conceding, but their thoughts — that there might have been some collusion among members of Congress, some are refusing to go through magnetometers … to check for weapons, they’re not wearing masks during this siege. I mean, it’s really bizarre, isn’t it, when you think about how AWOL so many of these members of Congress have gotten. But I also think some of them are believing the garbage that they are being fed 24/7 on the internet, by their constituents, and they bought into this big lie. And the question is how are we going to really almost deprogram these people who have signed up for the cult of Trump.”

The chick who directed traffic inside Capitol and stole Nancy’s laptop tried to sell it to Russia, okay?

Because every patriot knows the internal layout of the Capital well enough to direct traffic on the way to steal Nancy’s laptop so they can sell it to Russia, right? That sounds totally legit, right?

FBI investigating if Capitol rioter stole Nancy Pelosi’s laptop to sell to Russia

By Yaron Steinbuch January 18, 2021 | 8:15am | Updated

The feds are investigating whether a Pennsylvania woman who was seen on video taking part in the US Capitol riots stole a laptop or hard drive from House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s office and planned to sell it to the Russians, officials said.

The FBI is seeking Riley June Williams on charges including entering a restricted building, disrupting the orderly conduct of government and engaging in disorderly or disruptive conduct. A witness described as a former romantic partner of Williams claimed to have seen footage of her “taking a laptop computer or hard drive from Speaker Pelosi’s office.”

“[Witness 1] stated that WILLIAMS intended to send the computer device to a friend in Russia, who then planned to sell the device to SVR, Russia’s foreign intelligence service,” an agent said. “According to [Witness 1], the transfer of the computer device to Russia fell through for unknown reasons and WILLIAMS still has the computer device or destroyed it,” according to the affidavit, which includes a link to a documentary produced by London-based ITV News.

A woman identified as Williams — wearing glasses, a green shirt and brown trench coat and carrying a bag over her shoulder — can be seen yelling “Upstairs, upstairs, upstairs,” pushing people toward Pelosi’s office, according to NPR.
