On Aug. 31, 2020, Father John Fields received his first injection in the vaccine trials for Moderna Inc.’s COVID-19 vaccine as part of a study group at the University of Pennsylvania.

PHILADELPHIA (CNS) — Father John Fields, an archpriest of the Ukrainian Catholic Archeparchy of Philadelphia, who was communication director for the archeparchy, died at his home Nov. 28. He was 70.

The cause of death has yet to be determined, according to an announcement from the archeparchy.

Father Fields had volunteered to participate in the third and final phase of Moderna’s COVID-19 vaccine trial.

In a Nov. 17 interview with Catholic News Service, he said he felt no ill effects from injections he received during the trials in late August and early October. When he received an invitation to volunteer for this from the University of Pennsylvania Aug. 28, he told CNS, he said “yes” immediately.

“I did not hesitate. For me, it was a go. I just hoped I would be accepted,” he said, adding that he had no concern about the risks. “I thought it was a win-win situation.”

By being in the study, he felt he might be able to “contribute in some small way to the development of an effective vaccine that would help stop this worldwide COVID-19 pandemic and the fear, suffering and death that it has already caused to millions and end the shutdowns and help restore society once again to a normal lifestyle.”

Reporting on the news of the card, Dr. Kelly Moore, associate director of the Immunization Action Coalition which is involved in distributing the vaccine, said “Everyone will be issued a written card that they can put in their wallet that will tell them what they had and when their next dose is due. Let’s do the simple, easy thing first. Everyone’s going to get that.” Moore also stated that people would be widely asked to volunteer their cell number, in order to “get a text message telling them when and where their next dose is scheduled to be administered.”

(CNN) — Smoking is set to be banned in San Francisco apartments, with one exception: weed. The San Francisco Board of Supervisors voted 10-1 Tuesday to ban smoking tobacco in apartments, but made an exception for cannabis.

The ordinance is an effort to protect residents from secondhand smoke. With its passage, smoking is prohibited inside buildings with three or more apartment units. But medical weed and “adult-use” weed are allowed, the ordinance states. Violators could face a $1,000 fine.

Smoking is already illegal in common spaces but this ordinance extends to inside apartments and condominiums. HERE

U.K. Prime Minister, Boris Johnson, described the news as ‘fantastic’ and that ‘It’s the protection of vaccines that will ultimately allow us to reclaim our lives and get the economy moving again.’

A government announcement published this morning stated: 

The Government has today accepted the recommendation from the independent Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) to approve Pfizer-BioNTech’s COVID-19 vaccine for use. This follows months of rigorous clinical trials and a thorough analysis of the data by experts at the MHRA who have concluded that the vaccine has met its strict standards of safety, quality and effectiveness.

It’s funny though, because at the FDA webcast meeting yesterday, where they approved the vax 13-1 for front-line healthcare workers and nursing home patients, it was stated that there is ZERO Phase III efficacy for any of these vaccines. So no, actually, none of the vaccines have met the normal strict safety standards.

This is especially concerning since we are dealing with a coronavirus, and history tells us that any coronavirus vaccine has the tendency to be very dangerous, because these vaccines tend to act as accelerants: They turbocharge uptake of the pathogen, instead of neutralizing it. This fact is widely known in the medical community, and has been since the 1960s. You have already seen with your own eyes the sheer panic of your friends and family members on social media begging for more lockdowns. How do you think they will behave next week when the “vaccines” are approved? The karens, businesses, and government will all be in lockstep. They will be demanding that you be “vaccinated,” or else you deserve to die. Folks, this is coming at you so fast, it’s hard to overstate it. Here, allow the UK vaccine komissar to explain it:

Nadhim Zahawi, the U.K.’s vaccine minister, said getting vaccinated should be voluntary, but a phone app used for contact tracing may include a person’s vaccine status, which businesses could use. 

“But also I think you’d probably find that restaurants and bars and cinemas and other venues, sports venues, will probably also use that system as they’ve done with the app,” Zahawi told the BBC.

“The sort of pressure will come both ways: from service providers – who will say ‘look, demonstrate to us that you have been vaccinated’ – but also we will make the technology as easy and accessible as possible,” he added, according to Reuters. 

When Zahawi was asked whether it would be almost impossible to do anything without the vaccine, he said: “I think people have to make a decision but I think you’ll probably find many service providers will want to engage in this in the way they did with the app.”
