Today is the Feast of St. Josaphat, Bishop and Martyr.

“Josaphat, apostle and a martyr of Church unity was baptized John Kuncevyk. When he was 16, in 1595, the Ruthenian Church, to which he belonged, was officially united with Rome. As a young apprentice-merchant with a monastic vocation, he devoted his spare time to learning Church Slavonic, in order to assist more intelligently at the Liturgy and to recite some of the Divine Office each day. As soon as possible he entered the monastery of the Holy Trinity at Vilna. Made Archbishop of Polotsk in 1617, he fought tirelessly to preserve the union with Rome against fierce opposition from many of the people and a schismatic hierarchy. St. Josaphat never ceased in working toward conversion and unity from the schismatic Orthodox. One Shepherd, One Faith. He nearly pulled it off, too.

But instead they murdered him for it, and if you’ve not yet begun preparing for the same, start now. Georgia’s top election official said Wednesday the state will conduct a hand recount of all paper ballots cast in the Nov. 3 presidential election.

Uncertified results in the state show Democrat Joe Biden leading President Donald Trump by 14,000 votes out of nearly 5 million votes counted in the state. Nearly all ballots have been counted, though counties have until Friday to certify their results.

“Mathematically, you actually have to do a full hand-by-hand recount of all because the margin is so close,” Georgia’s Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger said at a news conference. “We want to start this before the week is up.”

Several top state attorneys are backing President Trump’s legal action that challenges the results of Pennsylvania’s vote count. On Monday, attorneys general from 10 states filed a petition to the U.S. Supreme Court urging justices to take up the case.

“As such, we believe that the voting system be free of outside undue influence and that irregularities in the process should be completely vetted, so that the American people can have faith in their system of electing officials,” stated Louisiana Attorney General Jeff Landry.

The petitioners argue the Pennsylvania Supreme Court violated separation of powers and increased the risk of voter fraud. This occurred when the court ruled in favor of accepting mail-in ballots three days after the election if they were postmarked November 3. The attorneys general claim the Constitution gives the state legislature the power to choose the time, place and manner of elections.

The separation of powers is something they used to teach in third grade. I’m not even kidding. The Judicial Branch does not have the power to legislate… that power resides with the, ahem, LEGISLATIVE Branch. The PA Supreme Court had zero authority to change election law. On top of that, federal election laws also come into play here. Blue Shift can kiss my grits.

The Florida landslide was astonishing, and it bode very well for the nation. On Wednesday morning, as Trump’s big lead had vanished overnight in most of the swing states, I heard three different commentators on three different fake news networks utter nearly identical narratives to describe was occurring.
