How do those who took multiple jabs feel about Fauci’s admission of guilt?

(Accepting a pardon means, by rule of law, you are a criminal. -nvp)

Admission of Fauci’s Guilt

January 23, 2025

“FAUCI, Milley & the Corrupt Congressman are attempting to have their cake and to eat it too. They want to accept the benefit of the phony ‘pardons’ protections WHILE at the same time continuing to proclaim their own innocence. This is a LEGAL impossibility. And if the Trump team doesn’t shut this down by bringing charges against all of them and forcing them to choose admission of guilt & the pardon protection, OR proclaimed innocence & defend in court, then the Trump team is just as complicit in this outrage. The Supreme Court has made it clear. You can’t ‘accept’ the benefits of a pardon AND simultaneously continue to proclaim you’re innocent. “A pardon, in our history, has been used as an act of grace, and its acceptance is an admission of guilt.” Burdick v. US (1915).”

You’re Fired: DEI nuked from orbit

I refuse to fanboy any of this until we see actual results. And no, you can’t end Birthright Citizenship, aka amend the Constitution, with an Executive Order, nor can you upend 130 years of interpretive precedence with an E.O. So we will see what happens with that one.

But this, this is just wild. DEI ends at 5pm TODAY. Permit me to glory in just the possibilities:

“It was like The Apprentice met The Presidency. Yesterday, Trump signed his second consecutive DEI order, Tuesday’s even more detailed and specific than Monday’s, and his Office of Personnel Management issued a tart memorandum. It informed all federal agencies that, by no later than 5pm tonight, they must close DEI all offices, delete all DEI websites, cancel all scheduled DEI “training,” terminate all DEI contractors, place all DEI staff on paid leave, and then prepare for staff reductions by the end of business on the last day of this month, January 31st… It’s not just performative. They can try to re-name DEI into something else, to try burying it in the bureaucratic depths, but it won’t work this time. Trump’s team is already onto that little game:

They’ve also required every federal agency to list their DEI employees as of November 5, 2024 —election day— just in case they were smuggled into other jobs after Trump’s win in a cryptic effort to save them from getting fired and keep the resistance going.”

21 January – “O glorious St. Agnes, intercede with Christ the High Priest for a return of orthodoxy, sanity and sanctity to the Roman Church!”

(Might I add, pray rid us of this wretched antipope. -nvp)

From Father Zed:

For the sake of the Roman Church, let us today invoke St. Agnes, virgin and martyr.

O glorious Agnes who, though weak, was chosen by God to make His own might manifest in your martyrdom, together with the Peter and Paul and the other Roman martyrs and confessors, intercede now before the throne of our Christ the High Priest in heaven and beg a return of orthodoxy, sanity and sanctity to the Church especially in Rome and in particular the Roman Curia at every level.  O holy Agnes, who bravely suffered torments, ask Mary, the Queen of the Clergy, to protect and aid all priests, so that they will all stand up boldly and teach the truth about the Sacrament of Matrimony, the integrity of the Sacrament of Holy Orders, the truth about the Most Holy Eucharist, and beg for the restoration and renewal of our sacred liturgical worship of the Lamb who was slain.  We entrust this to you, blessed Saint Agnes, with all our confidence.  Amen.

I have posted the following in times past, but it bears repetition. Newcomers to this blog may not have seen it.

Behold the skull of Agnes, in situ, in her beautiful church in Rome on the Piazza Navona.

The dies natalis (“birthday into heaven”) of Agnes was recorded in the register of the depositio martyrum as 21 January.

St. Agnes was slain probably during the reign of the Emperor Diocletian in 304. Some say she died during the time of the Emperor Valerian (+260).

Fruit of the Fifth Glorious Mystery, Trust in Mary’s Intercession, Demonstrated Par Excellence at Cana

The Mother of God asked for something, God said no, and she made Him do it anyway

Originally posted

Today is the Second Sunday after Epiphany. The Gospel is from John 2, the wedding at Cana. Jesus wasn’t ready to begin His ministry just yet, but His mother had other ideas.

Think about this.

Was she capable of bending the will of God? Many Church Fathers have written on this passage: was it Jesus’ human will or His divine will, could they ever be in conflict, how did Mary know this was the right time, and was her will ever in conflict with the divine will?  Heaven forbid.  The first thing we need to understand is the plain fact of what happened here: Mary asked, God said no, Mary got what she wanted.

Our Lady of Perpetual Help, pray for us.

Remember too that Mary knew the scriptures better than any rabbi that had ever lived. She knew about the Feast of the Messiah from Isaiah 25: “And the Lord of hosts shall make unto all people in this mountain, a feast of fat things, a feast of wine…”

Our Lady Seat of Wisdom, pray for us.

In a certain way, this event is also the beginning of the Passion, because it would mean His persecution be hastened. That is what Jesus is pointing forward to when He says, “My hour is not yet come.” Note also the stunning depth of Mary’s faith… after being rebuked by her Son, who is God, she immediately turns to the waiters with instructions on what is to come next… which was the Second Person of the Triune Godhead producing 180 gallons, yes 180 gallons, of the finest wine ever made. That’s how the Founder of the Catholic Church rolls. Happy Sunday.

Our Lady of Fatima, pray for us.

GOSPEL (John 2:1-11) At that time, there was a marriage in Cana of Galilee: and the mother of Jesus was there. And Jesus also was invited, and his disciples, to the marriage. And the wine failing, the mother of Jesus saith to him: “They have no wine.” And Jesus saith to her: “Woman, what is that to me and to thee? My hour is not yet come.” His mother saith to the waiters: “Whatsoever he shall say to you, do ye.” Now there were set there six waterpots of stone, according to the manner of the purifying of the Jews, containing two or three measures apiece. Jesus saith to them: “Fill the waterpots with water.” And they filled them up to the brim. And Jesus saith to them: “Draw out now and carry to the chief steward of the feast.” And they carried it. And when the chief steward had tasted the water made wine and knew not whence it was, but the waiters knew who had drawn the water: the chief steward calleth the bridegroom, And saith to him: “Every man at first setteth forth good wine, and when men have well drunk, then that which is worse. But thou hast kept the good wine until now.” This beginning of miracles did Jesus in Cana of Galilee and manifested his glory. And his disciples believed in him.

Deep State already leaking inside info from Trump 2.0 to WSJ/NYT before Inauguration

By Zolan Kanno-Youngs and Hamed Aleaziz

The incoming Trump administration intends to carry out “post-inauguration” immigration raids in Chicago next week, according to two people familiar with the planning and correspondence reviewed by The New York Times, an opening step in President-elect Donald J. Trump’s goal to oversee the largest deportation operation in American history.
The plan, called “Operation Safeguard” by Immigration and Customs Enforcement, would start on Tuesday, the day after Mr. Trump is inaugurated, and last until the following Monday, according to the people familiar with it and the correspondence. The dates were still being finalized, however, and could change.
The size of the planned operation was unclear. ICE routinely conducts deportations in cities throughout the United States. But the agency was taking additional steps to ramp up enforcement for the operation and tied it to Mr. Trump’s inauguration in a message sent to personnel throughout the agency.
Hundreds of agents were asked to volunteer and participate in the “post-inauguration” operation targeting immigrants in the United States illegally. ICE is planning on sending roughly 150 agents to Chicago for the raids.
For Mr. Trump, the optics of immigration agents sporting ballistic gear and arresting immigrants with uncertain or contested status in a Democratic-led city could be enough. The incoming administration is eager to find ways to send a message that it is cracking down on undocumented immigrants and punishing so-called sanctuary cities — communities like Chicago that refuse to hand over immigrants detained by the police to federal immigration authorities.
Don Terry, a spokesman for the Chicago police, said the department would not “intervene or interfere with any other government agencies performing their duties,” but said that it “does not document immigration status” and “will not share information with federal immigration authorities.”
