The “Why was Trump allowed to win?” mystery

By via The Orthosphere

What is indisputable is that the Left controls all the real power in the Western world–all of the key communication, finance, and administrative nodes. So some Rightists are perplexed: how can they seem so complacent at the ascendency of a man they’ve labeled a fascist? Where are the riots and lawsuits? Do we need to adjust our model of the world, since the world is not behaving as we predicted?

A few thoughts which are being ignored by most commentators.

  1. The 2nd Trump administration is allowed because Trump has accomplished something the Left could not have done on its own–the full disenfranchisement of American conservative Christians. There are now two pro-abortion, pro-sodomy parties. Just like in France, the Christian segment of the population has no representation. This is a massive consolidation of Leftist victory, and it is worth them allowing some of their fringier excursions to be temporarily curtailed if they can allow this to happen.
  2. At this point, economic collapse and military defeat are baked in, so they might as well let there be a Republican in office holding the bag when it happens, like in ’29.
  3. The Left wants war with Russia badly–they want gay pride parades in Moscow and are willing to pay for it in (others’) blood. They worry that Trump will derail this. However, they were able to coax him out of pursuing peace last time with Russiagate nonsense. That might work again. Even if it doesn’t, they can see that Trump is a fanatical Zionist who will probably start a war with Iran, so they’ll probably end up getting their war with Russia anyway.
  4. The Left has figured out that elections don’t matter when you control the permanent government and the professional classes. Winning elections tends to be more demoralizing for the Right than losing them, because we see that nothing changes.

The thing that really blows my mind is Harvard eliminating DEI statements on job applications. That I would have never expected. Maybe the Jews are more spooked than I’d imagined?

Biden Regime Discussing Preemptive Pardons for Fauci, Adam Schiff, Liz Cheney, etc

President Joe Biden’s senior aides are conducting a vigorous internal debate over whether to issue preemptive pardons to a range of current and former public officials who could be targeted with President-elect Donald Trump’s return to the White House, according to senior Democrats familiar with the discussions.

Biden’s aides are deeply concerned about a range of current and former officials who could find themselves facing inquiries and even indictments, a sense of alarm which has only accelerated since Trump last weekend announced the appointment of Kash Patel to lead the FBI. Patel has publicly vowed to pursue Trump’s critics.

The White House officials, however, are carefully weighing the extraordinary step of handing out blanket pardons to those who’ve committed no crimes, both because it could suggest impropriety, only fueling Trump’s criticisms, and because those offered preemptive pardons may reject them. The deliberations touch on pardoning those currently in office, elected and appointed, as well as former officials who’ve angered Trump and his loyalists.

Those who could face exposure include such members of Congress’ Jan. 6 Committee as Sen.-elect Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) and former GOP Rep. Liz Cheney of Wyoming. Trump has previously said Cheney “should go to Jail along with the rest of the Unselect Committee!” Also mentioned by Biden’s aides for a pardon is Anthony Fauci, the former head of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases who became a lightning rod for criticism from the right during the Covid-19 pandemic…

House Oversight delivers stunning admissions re Covid response

To be sure, there is still slobbering support for the jab and utter nonsense about how it “saved millions of lives.” But still, check out these nuggets.

The full 527-page report can be downloaded here. One summary of it which I have not yet confirmed.

The Official Government Report finds:

  • COVID-19 Origins: The COVID-19 pandemic likely originated from a laboratory or research-related incident.
  • Misinformation: Public health officials and the Biden administration engaged in misinformation and disinformation campaigns to suppress the lab-leak theory and promote specific narratives.
  • Government Overreach: The Biden administration’s mask mandates and other restrictive measures exceeded its authority and were often not supported by scientific evidence.
  • School Closures: The decision to close schools during the pandemic was not supported by science and had severe adverse impacts on students’ academic performance, mental health, and physical health.
  • Vaccine Mandates: The government imposed vaccine mandates that were not supported by science, ignored natural immunity, and caused significant collateral damage.
  • Erosion of Public Trust: Actions by public health officials and the government led to a decline in public trust in institutions and a rise in misinformation and anti-science rhetoric.
  • Financial Mismanagement: The government’s pandemic relief programs were vulnerable to significant fraud, waste, and abuse due to insufficient oversight and outdated financial management systems.
  • WHO’s Failure: The World Health Organization (WHO) failed to uphold its mission, caved to pressure from the Chinese Communist Party, and did not hold China accountable for violating international health regulations.
  • Economic Impacts: The pandemic and the government’s response had severe economic impacts on individuals, communities, and businesses, including job losses, business closures, and supply chain disruptions.
  • Unintended Consequences: The government’s pandemic policies, including lockdowns and vaccine mandates, had severe unintended consequences that will likely have lasting effects on society.

Congratulations to all the purebloods. It’s official and the US government has admitted it: you were absolutely right to distrust the government, the media, the corporations, the medical community, and what they all tried to pass off as “the science”.

Of course, this is only the partial truth. There are more revelations to come.

Advent goals: It’s easier to forgive than to forget

“I’m still meditating on 1 Corinthians 13. One of the elements that especially challenges me is, “Love does not keep a record of wrongs.” It’s easier to forgive than to forget.  And how often past memories invade the present and tempt one to rehash a wrong, fan it into flames, and form it into a grudge as weighty as the Washington Monument.

“Blame seems to me to be the fundamental cause for keeping a record of wrongs. Pointing the finger at others can make it easy to ignore our own faults. We can just keep running down the list seeing the splinter in the other person’s eye while ignoring the beam in our own.

“This Advent I want to stop blaming and start thanking. I wrote several thank you letters on Thanksgiving Day and I want to do that frequently during Advent. How many graces I’ve received from others. I want to thank them for it. I don’t want to focus on the hurtful events in my life. What good is that? Besides, when others hurt us they offer us a great opportunity to be united to the cross of Christ, and help make up what’s lacking in His suffering as St. Paul says. It took me a long time to figure out what Paul meant. How could anything be lacking in the passion and suffering of Christ? The answer is simple: our cooperation in Christ’s passion by our complete submission to the Divine Will by embracing our own sufferings — not just accepting them, but kissing them like Christ kissed His cross.

“St. Margaret Mary Alacoque, apostle of the Sacred Heart, suffered a lot from the time she was a child. Instead of blaming those who persecuted her, she excused them, forgave them in her heart, and saw them as a means to holiness. What a great blessing if I can learn to do the same thing. It seems impossible, but Jesus promises that “My grace is sufficient for you.” So I’m confident that when Christmas arrives I will find in my stocking a little more patience, a little more kindness, a little more gratitude, and a blank “record of wrongs” list…”
