SSPX anonymously condemns anonymous bloggers who “seek to attain their goals through chaos”

Seriously.
From 16 Feb 2017 http://sspx.org/en/news-events/news/satire-new-way-combat-the-crisis

“…we cannot support this passive-aggressive and disrespectful method of “correcting” the Sovereign Pontiff. While privacy and confidentiality are not without their place, hiding behind a computer screen has, unfortunately, become an accepted method of public discource. Letters sent without signatures, anonymous emails, and posts on websites using pseudonyms are not done by men of fortitude and conviction in the truth. They are the acts of cowards, who like the mythological figure Eris, only seek to attain their goals – however noble they may be – through chaos.”

Several others have been all over this for the past few days, so I don’t have much more to say about it.  Some noted the timing as coinciding *nicely* with the recent rumors of the prelature. Mundy then refuted the anti-anonymity stance rather convincingly HERE.
Here is the one thing I’d like to add: Does anyone think we want this job? Do people think we enjoy having to do this? Do people think we are actually happy that the cardinals and bishops are so lame, that it’s left up to us to defend the faith? Up to us to defend Christ and His Church? Well guess what. I think it totally sucks. But since nobody else seems to care, it’s left to us.  You might even call it a state of necessity – something the SSPX claims to know a thing or two about.
Also, please note that ad hominem attacks are always acts of cowards. To claim that anonymous bloggers/posters/etc are the cowards, and the ones causing the chaos, is almost amusing.
On the bright side, my enemies will now most certainly move past accusing me of being more Catholic than the pope, whichever he is, to now being more Catholic than the SSPX.

Stay frosty, my friends. Bout to get mo real.

So much to talk about Rome and the Francis. I’m glad everyone else is all over it, because I just haven’t had time.
The one thing being relatively under-reported, other than by Ace, is the attempted coup of the U.S. government currently being undertaken by Deep State. If you don’t live in the states, I’m not sure what visibility you have to this. It’s bad. Trump is unable to govern due to Obama operatives still in power on the inside. This is not hyperbole.
Not sure where it’s going. More sure about where Rome is going. None of it good.
Pray, and stay frosty.

Thou shalt not obey the Commandments

Luther gave the homily again today.  It’s almost not even news anymore, but I guess we need to keep calling it out. Next time they put posters up, I hope they use the photoshopped one of Francis in the Luther pose.

“When Jesus says: ‘The Father is always at work: I, too, am always at work,’ the teachers of the law were scandalized and wanted to kill him for this. Why? Because they could not receive the things of God as a gift! Only as Justice: ‘These are the Commandments: but they are few, let’s make more. And instead of opening their heart to the gift, they hid, have sought refuge in the rigidity of the Commandments, which they had multiplied up to 500 or more … They did not know how to receive the gift – and the gift is only received with freedom – and these rigid characters were afraid of the freedom that God gives us: they were afraid of love…And that is why today we have praised the Father: ‘You are great, O Lord! I love you so much, for you have given this gift. You saved me, you created me.’ And this is the prayer of praise, the prayer of joy, the prayer that gives us the joy of the Christian life. And not the closed, sad  prayer of the person who never knew how to receive a gift because he is afraid of freedom that always carries with it a gift. Such a one knows only how to do duty, but closed duty…How do I receive the redemption, the forgiveness that God has given me, the making of me a son with His Son? Lovingly, tenderly, with freedom? Or do I hide in the rigidity of the closed Commandments, that are more and more “safe” – with emphasis on the scare-quotes – but that do not give joy, because they does not make you free.” Francis, homily, 6 Feb 2017

It’s really just Luther’s error on Justification slathered with contempt for the rigid lovers of the law who refuse to embrace the freedom of sinning boldly. AMIRITE?
Compare:

“If you are a preacher of mercy, do not preach an imaginary but the true mercy. If the mercy is true, you must therefore bear the true, not an imaginary sin. God does not save those who are only imaginary sinners. Be a sinner, and let your sins be strong (sin boldly), but let your trust in Christ be stronger, and rejoice in Christ who is the victor over sin, death, and the world… It suffices that through God’s glory we have recognized the Lamb who takes away the sin of the world. No sin can separate us from Him, even if we were to kill or commit adultery thousands of times each day. Do you think such an exalted Lamb paid merely a small price with a meager sacrifice for our sins? Pray hard for you are quite a sinner.” Martin Luther, letter to Melanchthon

The parasitic wasp and the caterpillar: Perfectly analogous to the post-conciliar Church

Parasitic wasps are fascinating creatures. Created by God, by the way, to amaze you and possibly teach you a thing or two. There is one species in particular, Cotesia glomerata, that will really rock your world.
The role of the One Holy Apostolic Roman Catholic Church will be played by the caterpillar.
The role of the Marxist/Modernist infiltrators will be played by the wasp larvae.
Caterpillar is slowing moving about its business.  Then one day, Cotesia glomerata comes by and injects its baby wasp larvae into the body of the caterpillar. The larvae know better than to feed on any vital organs, lest their presence be discovered.  Instead, they feed on blood and non-vital tissues.  The caterpillar only notices increased hunger, and responds by eating more, which in turn feeds the larvae more. In case you are having trouble visualizing this, don’t worry, there is a super gross/cool video at the end of this post.
Now, the larvae were coated with a virus when they were injected. The fact that this wasp has a virus somehow encoded into its genome could easily send us flying off on a tangent about Irreducible Complexity, so let’s stay focused. The virus initially acts as a shield against the caterpillar’s immune system, leaving the larvae protected from the normal mechanisms which should have attacked and destroyed them.
After growing inside the caterpillar for two weeks (55 years) it’s finally time for the larvae to leave their host and triumph in the outside world. They do this by chewing through the skin of the caterpillar with specialized teeth that are only for this purpose. As they come into the open, they are at their most vulnerable.
But they saved their best trick for last. That virus which initially protected them has now migrated to the caterpillar’s brain, initiating self-destruct mode. The structures and outside appearances still look like a caterpillar, but the thing itself is now something different – it now has a wasp brain. The caterpillar now works to defend the emerged pile of larvae by spinning its own precious silk to form a cocoon around them. Finally, fighting exhaustion and starvation, the caterpillar defends its adopted brood by physically fending off all manner of predators now descending on the cocoon, until it finally dies.
At least we have Matt 16:18 to prevent that last part.

Be safe, America, the anarchists don’t care which “side” you’re on – they’re just in it for the violence

There are tons of “protests” planned this weekend. I pray that they are peaceful. But if you live in the U.S., and you are watching what’s happening, the trend is not encouraging. When a violent riot shuts down the speech of a homosexualist Jew at Berkeley, we’ve officially entered the twilight zone. Berkeley – the birthplace of the Free Speech movement. Or how about the unhinged rant of the NYU prof, who I’m pretty sure was actually, really, foaming at the mouth at the NYPD for maintaining the peace. Hey, at least the NYPD showed up; where the hell were the cops in Berkeley?
As for the anarchists, they don’t care one iota about your politics. The leftists hate the soft libs every bit as much as the right, if not more so, except the libs are much more pliable as useful idiots. Do you really think that those who were behind the riots were motivated by temporary travel restrictions? Gee, have you heard the one about protests over a hateful internet video?
Stay safe, America. You can scroll through this blog if you want to better understand your right and duty to defend yourself and your family from corporeal threats, along with recommendations on how best to do that.
Si vis pacem, para bellum.

An open letter to those protesting President Trump’s Executive Order on temporary immigration restrictions.

Signing the EO at 4:30 on a Friday afternoon?  Dumb.  Making it effective immediately, giving no chance to families already in the air? Very unfair, and dumb (could have made it effective Monday). Detaining or deporting people with Green Cards (which is a legally protected status) without probable cause?  If this is in fact happening (I’ve seen conflicting reports), it’s questionable why this needs to be done, even though Green Cards do not, in fact, guarantee re-entry. The huffing and puffing over inauguration attendance figures and the continuing twitter obsession? Childish. Concerns over some of the cabinet picks? Legit. Has much of the last twelve days looked like amateur hour at the White House? Absolutely.
Can everyone agree on these things?  Good.  That’s called intellectual honesty, and we need a whole lot more it on both sides of the aisle.
How many of you have actually read the EO on immigration? It’s readily available online.  You’re not commenting on this without having actually read it, are you? Are you relying on the mainstream news outlets to tell you what’s in it? The same news outlets who told you Hilary had a ten point lead two days before the election? The same news outlets who refused to tell you about the DNC rigging the primary and stealing the nomination from Bernie? The same news outlets who tried to convince you that the Podesta emails were somehow “fake” because wikileaks published them? Please stop doing that, and go read the actual order.
Okay. Now that you’ve read it, why did Trump call out seven Muslim-majority nations? Oh wait, he didn’t – the seven nations don’t appear in the EO. Where the seven countries come from is the law that the EO keeps referring back to. That law is the Terrorist Travel Protection Act of 2015, signed into law by President Obama. Obama is the one who identified the seven Muslim-majority countries with the greatest risk of harboring terrorists, and the law he signed outlined recommendations for dealing with the problem, including “extreme vetting”.  The text of that law is also readily available online, so I’m sure you read that too.
Are you promoting this as a #MuslimBan? The fact that the largest Muslim countries in the world are unaffected by this order makes your claim incredibly dishonest, doesn’t it?  That’s right, the vast majority of Muslims in the world are not subject to this order. What about the fact that many of the wealthiest Muslim countries, in the immediate geography of the crisis, which you would think would be the most desirable place for them to go, have taken ZERO refugees? HERE Shouldn’t we be outraged about that?
Also, why wasn’t there any outrage in 2011 when Obama banned Iraqi refugees for six months? Didn’t your news media report on that?

“The State Department stopped processing Iraq refugees for six months in 2011, federal officials told ABC News – even for many who had heroically helped U.S. forces as interpreters and intelligence assets. One Iraqi who had aided American troops was assassinated before his refugee application could be processed, because of the immigration delays, two U.S. officials said.” ABC News, 11/20/13 HERE

So maybe you think all of this is illegal, or should be illegal, sort of like the just-fired interim Attorney General thought.  I mean, it’s just mean, and anyone who says otherwise is a bigoted xenophobic racist with no compassion.  Well, guess what? Not only is it not illegal, it is definitively codified law. Specifically, Subsection (f) of 8 U.S. Code § 1182:

(f) Suspension of entry or imposition of restrictions by President HERE
“Whenever the President finds that the entry of any aliens or of any class of aliens into the United States would be detrimental to the interests of the United States, he may by proclamation, and for such period as he shall deem necessary, suspend the entry of all aliens or any class of aliens as immigrants or nonimmigrants, or impose on the entry of aliens any restrictions he may deem to be appropriate…”

As an aside, for those who are claiming immigration is somehow a “right”, let’s talk about the rights of actual citizens.  What about Obama EXECUTING U.S. citizens, without a warrant, without being charged, without a trial, without being convicted, and without being sentenced. That sounds a tad unconstitutional, does it not?

“The administration on Wednesday formally acknowledged for the first time that it had killed four American citizens in drone strikes outside the battlefields of Afghanistan and Iraq, arguing that its actions were justified by the danger to the United States. Mr. Obama approved providing new information to Congress and the public about the rules governing his attacks on Al Qaeda and its allies.” NYT 5/22/13 HERE

Muslim-American U.S. citizens, assassinated by Obama without any semblance of due process. Where was your humanitarian outrage back then?
Okay, back to immigration. As I said at the top, there is plenty of administration bungling here. It really wouldn’t hurt for Trump to apologize for the bungling and vow to do better.  But the temporary restrictions are vital to our security. Every sovereign nation has not only a right, but a duty, to secure and defend its borders and protect its citizens.  This is not a difficult concept, and is pretty much a core precept of what a sovereign nation is, and how a nation remains sovereign.
Now a final plea: Be informed and act on your beliefs. Exercise your right to peaceful protest. Fight for the change you want to see. But please stop with the hate. Stop the name calling. Stop the threats of violence. Stop claiming the moral high ground while proclaiming the rest of us deplorable. That is what got Trump elected. I promise to call him out on his nonsense if you promise to give him a chance. The rightness of an action has nothing to do with whether or not it was your guy who did it.
We just want some of that intellectual honesty.

Trump just made a huge misstep in firing the acting AG

Yes, she defiantly refused to enforce a clearly legal order. She deserved to be fired.
Yes, it’s incredibly ironic that this comes after two Obama AGs facing zero criticism for refusing to enforce established law on several topics.
But this was unbelievably shortsighted move by Trump. Does he have no recollection of Nixon’s Saturday Night Massacre, and how that played out? Sessions already faced a tough confirmation as AG. Now the dems will be determined to destroy him.
For the love of all that is good, President Trump, calm the hell down and start playing the long game. Stop needing to prove, every second of your ten day old presidency, that you have the biggest dick in the room.
I have a long post to be published tomorrw defending your EO on immigration against the intellectually dishonest leftists who are protesting all over the country. Stop acting like a child, forcing people like me to try sticking the binky back into your cranky puss.

The Vichy Order of Malta

Their website still uses “Sovereign”, but I’m sure the IT people are working on it.
The text of the letter confirming the acceptance of the forced resignation of Grand Master Festing is HERE. It is a total capitulation to Francis, not only on the resignation but also by agreeing to nullify all decrees since the suspension of Boeselager.

“Subsequently, the Sovereign Council presided over by the Lieutenant ad interim annulled the decrees establishing the disciplinary procedures against Albrecht Boeselager and the suspension of his membership in the Order. Albrecht Boeselager resumes his office as Grand Chancellor immediately.”

Not only is his suspension lifted, he’s back in the office of Grand Chancellor.
Then they (Francis ghostwriting) just had to end the letter with this:

“The Sovereign Order of Malta is most grateful to Pope Francis and the Cardinal Secretary of State Pietro Parolin for their interest in and care for the Order. The Order appreciates that the Holy Father’s decisions were all carefully taken with regard to and respect for the Order, with a determination to strengthen its sovereignty.”

Because Francis cannot resist claiming something to be true which is 100% the opposite of true.
I cannot imagine what transpired in the meeting earlier this week between Festing and Francis, which lasted less than 30 minutes.  The result of the meeting was Festing offering his resignation, Francis accepting, and Francis then forcing Festing to write it down, among other things.  Let’s say these things took twenty minutes. That means whatever Francis had on Festing must have been so devastating, it took less than ten minutes to lay it out in convincing fashion, such that Festing was left with his head spinning.  Have you ever been left your head spinning, either by physical harm or by receiving devastating news? Your cognitive ability goes to zero and you literally have no idea what just hit you.
However, the fact that Festing did not retract his resignation once he came to his senses, or anytime before today’s meeting, confirms that the blackmail must have been totally over the top. For Festing to think that what transpired to day is somehow “for the good of the Church”, well, the alternative must be truly horrifying.
All eyes are certainly now on Cardinal Burke. Pray that the formal correction to the non answered Dubia comes quickly, because a further demotion is surely on the way (the See of Juneau is currently vacant). The entirely swirling mess continues to accelerate. I feel like I’m in a room with one of those singularity spheres from The Arrival.

For those about to rock, we salute you.

I try not to draw attention to myself or offer too much personal information. I try to simply point to the truth and call out error. But today I will offer a private reflection.
I was nervous all day.
From the long wait at the White House, the exit through the corridors with what seemed to be a whole lot of people who didn’t need to be there, out to the motorcade.
The swearing in, the speech, the luncheon, the delays.  I just wanted it to be over.
Standing on the steps of the Capital, reviewing the troops, a 240 year tradition. Out in the open. I just wanted it to be over.
I continued with the parade.  Trump exited the Cadillac MRAP to walk for bit, as presidents do. Most vulnerable moment, with no bulletproof glass and dozens of viewing points with elevated positions.
Finally, they reached the reviewing stand. Bulletproof AF. Relax.
The last thing I watched was General Mattis being sworn in as SecDef at 7:43pm Eastern Standard Time.  The adults are back in charge. AMDG.
I don’t know where it goes from here, but it could have been a lot worse.

Making a spiritual renewal in preparation for battle: The current events swirling around us lend greater urgency to the matter.

I wrote these words barely six weeks ago, on the First Sunday of Advent. The situation in Malta raises the level of urgency by several degrees, because the Dubia Cardinals now know that souls are at immediate risk. With the Holy See complicit in the crime, more diocese will certainly follow. The correction will be forthcoming quickly from +Burke et al., which will of course be made public after Francis refuses to respond. Then comes the schism, when the 99% of Catholics who are blissfully unaware of what is what are going to be awakened overnight.
Anyway, here is some more from that post. The past few days have made it more relevant than it was even a few weeks ago:

“Are you keeping track of everything? Are you starting to get the hint that we are not living in normal times, and that more is required of you at this moment? What are you personally doing about it?
You need to prep harder. While there are plenty of other considerations…we will focus on the spiritual realm. No other preparedness makes any difference if you aren’t prepping your soul. As we prepare for the coming of the Lord every Advent by making a spiritual renewal, the current events swirling around us lend a greater urgency to the matter.
We have Francis, fount of heresy, squatting on the throne of Peter. We have Benedict, also dressed in white, who at times remains silent and at time offers great praise to Francis. Francis has promulgated heresy in a magisterial document, Amoris Laetitia. In this same document, Francis tries to support his heretical positions by lying about what former popes have taught, and claiming that his teaching is aligned with theirs. Cardinals are rightly attacking Francis for his heresy, and demanding answers. Cardinal Burke explains that no answer is the same as answering wrongly, and will bring additional sanctions. Unless there is some miraculous conversion of the Francis, there is only one way this is going.
The Church is about to descend into a war like nothing seen before, and you are not ready for it. You must prepare your soul for this war. The Rosary is a great, great weapon.  If you don’t already say it every day, you need to start right now, today.  You can’t imagine the graces that flow from this practice.  Just do it. You will then find yourself drawn more into prayer – adoration, petition and thanksgiving – throughout the day. Unite your prayers to the sacrificial offering of Christ on the Cross, and beg the intercession of the saints.. Then start helping your family and friends understand the reality of the situation. Teach them that prayer isn’t nothing. So many people think prayer is literally “the least we can do.”  That is incorrect.  Prayer is huge.
You will be attacked by a relentless foe. The father of lies, upon seeing you engaged in the pursuit of sanctity, redoubles his efforts to destroy you. You will be shocked by your temptations even as you proceed on the path toward holiness.  Just remember, no matter how frequent the attacks, God is always sending you more than enough grace to abide. You have to decide, today, to prepare the way and begin your counterattack.
You will also be attacked in the spiritual realm by your brethren. We now know that among these will be “Catholics”. You will be greatly outnumbered. You may have to flee your parish. You may be driven from your parish. You may be driven from your diocese. We are talking about open schism here, and you will be seen as being ON THE WRONG SIDE.
Not to mention, the entirety of secular society will be against you. The schism that has been simmering for three and a half 50 years is about to boil over into a very public spectacle that will captivate the whole world.
Are you starting to understand how bad this is going to be? And don’t you dare try to avoid it, because this is exactly what is necessary.  All of this is necessary, and it is for the best. Francis is awesome, because we never could have gotten to the hot war this fast without him. God created your soul to be born into the world at this hour. Cloak your soul in the armor of God, and figure out what your role is in all of this.”
