“Gratitude for suffering is a precious jewel for our heavenly crown”

“I understand that, each time we contemplate with desire and devotion the Host in which is hidden Christ’s Eucharistic Body, we increase our merits in heaven and secure special joys to be ours later in the beatific vision of God.”

“Angels constantly guard the clients of this Blessed Virgin from the assaults of Hell.”

“O Sacred Heart of Jesus, fountain of eternal life, Your Heart is a glowing furnace of Love. You are my refuge and my sanctuary.
O my adorable and loving Savior, consume my heart with the burning fire with which Yours is aflamed. Pour down on my soul those graces which flow from Your love. Let my heart be united with Yours. Let my will be conformed to Yours in all things. May Your Will be the rule of all my desires and actions. Amen.”

“Every time we look at the Blessed Sacrament our place in heaven is raised forever.”

Saint Gertrude was a 13th-century Cistercian mystic of Helfta, near Eisleben in Saxony. The book of her life and revelations, which she was asked to write in a vision of God, has been praised by scholars and saints alike. A very intelligent woman, Gertrude was early attracted to secular learning, but after the first of her numerous visions she restricted her reading to the Holy Scriptures and the Fathers of the Church. Her whole life was centered on the Sacrifice of the Mass and the Divine Office. She was one of the first to whom our Lord revealed the mystery of His Sacred Heart; He also asked her to develop a deep love for the cross and to pray for the conversion of souls.

  1. So the Biden administration just allowed Ukraine to use US long range weapons to strike deep inside of Moscow. Russia said they would reply with nuclear weapons. That’s how seriously they take this.

Someone predicted this would happen before Trump took office….I can’t remember who….

Looks like it might be a nuclear white Christmas.

  2. I take suffering as a sign I’ll do my purgation on earth and not go to the divine oven to be well cooked for the wedding feast.
