Not satire: 71 Percent of Democrats Say Healthy Americans Should Still Stay Home as Much as Possible

“For the first time since the start of the pandemic, a majority of Americans believe that healthy people should return to normal rather than stay home. But according to Gallup, the most stubborn group remains Democrats, with 71 percent saying that people should try to stay home even if they are healthy.”

  1. These people are just so sick, and I’m surrounded by them (family/co-workers). Lord, please have mercy on them and on me. I so struggle with trying to love them when their actions and beliefs are destroying this country (USA) and the Church.

  2. That’s their side. “I don’t want no trouble! Close the door, close the curtains, go away! Mask up. Vaccine up. Send me a paycheck. Deliver my food. Go away. I just don’t want no trouble”.

And then there’s our side. “ Run toward the trouble. Danger, risk, uncertainty – all good. So is personal reward. Freedom is good. Keep your mask, keep your jab. I’ll figure it out. Run toward the trouble, solve it, just because”.

Like this guy puts it, NC Lt Governor Mark Robinson, at the NC GOP Convention. I’ve been seeing a lot of this sort of thing lately. People have had it. “Lock yourself up … we’re done”.

  3. They wrote God out of their party platform years ago so this reaction by their faithful flock isn’t surprising. I remember the DNC convention in Charlotte several years ago when loud, angry boos came from the audience when there was a motion for a prayer.

    Rotten fruits of freemasonry.

  4. In his commentary on Psalm 128, Oswald Chambers begins:

“Blessed is every one that feareth the Lord; that walketh in his ways.” (Psalm 128:1)

The remarkable thing about fearing God is that when you fear God you fear nothing else, whereas if you do not fear God you fear everything else. “Blessed is every one that feareth the Lord”;…

  5. Yeah, stay home and don’t pay rent, because COVID!

It’s been a year-long nightmare with no end in sight. Small-scale landlords (all over the US, but especially in the democrat state of California) have been forced by the government to provide free shelter to the would-be homeless without due process. Homeowners being robbed of the use of their properties and given them to other people – not necessarily “the poor,” purportedly to prevent spread of the disease, but in actually, it just enables deadbeat tenants to not pay rent. The forever eviction moratorium, because COVID.

Small landlords are now NGOs with neither the tax-exempt status nor subsidy from the government. Yet there’s no break in having to maintain repairs on the units, paying property tax and insurance, taking out the garbage, providing water and electricity and attending to every little whim of the nonpaying renters. Because COVID.

Small businesses can close down if they think they can no longer stay afloat. Store fronts burned down and looted by Antifa and BLM are not forced to keep stocking their shelves in order to be looted again. But small homeowners are forced to stay open just so abusive tenants can continue to “shelter-in” not so much to avoid spread of the virus, but more to stop increased homelessness due to the bad economy. We must sacrifice, because COVID.

Please pray for small homeowners, the silent victims of COVID, for which there is neither vaccine nor cure. Just don’t vote for democrats. Lord, listen to our cry.
